On the fringes of the Dark Kingdom/Aurora/Somnium war, a new breed of warlord has appeared. Various smaller realms, disgruntled mercenaries or ancient terrors seeking to take advantage and carve out a piece of the delectable pie that the lands chaos has sown. They are as follows.

Averago Borings The Third: He was a troubled man who was always picked on for his last name in his youth and would have been nothing more than a footnote in the pages of history had he not one day while traveling found what seemed to be a device that resembled a glove. Curious, he reached for it and it ended up fusing with his hand. Naturally, Averago was terrified at first but once he learned what the glove could do for him, he trained and trained. Then, once the war rolled around he took advantage and as we know used his power to conquer the villiages that make up Sirtopia and along the way partnered up with Ursula(who he considers his queen but obviously he wouldn't tell her that.) His realms's topography; Sirtopia's is temperate , with cool, cloudy, wet winters and summers and in the south occasional warm wind. The greater part of Sirtopia(which is pretty much where the group is now/Where Averago and Ursula live) lies in the cool/temperate climatic zone in which humid westerly winds predominate. Resources: Iron, Steel, Gold. Current status has had him surrender his power to Lord Van Damne.

Aliaga the Huntress: A member of the Gypsy race, Aliaga was once nothing more then part of a traveling caravan until she was scarred in an attack of raiders that wiped out her family and friends, leaving her blind and alone. She might have died then, if it weren't for the lizardfolk that took her in and raised her. Adopting their ways as her own, she eventually took control and now leads several tribes as she seeks to establish her own realm of power to protect them. The land in which she controls is mostly swampland, and its resources tied mostly with a certain species of wildflower used for healing potions and noted for its potency. Her weapon of choice is the longbow and daggers. Current Status is her recent alliance with Grond against MacBeth. Which fell through with the formers death.

Lord Belgretor: A Lich Lord, recently awakened by the chaos of the war, he sweeps across the lands and even now from his ancient tower of power, seeks to make himself a power like the others. Undead and what creatures that fall into his lands and twisted by his power make up the majority of his forces, and as to what he himself seeks, no one truly knows. His resources are mostly Timber, Iron and Opals. His weapon of choice is his staff of power and the fell magick's he had accumulated in his long career. Current Status is his sudden revealing of forces to attempt to bend the other Warlords to his purpose. Has been defeated and is currently dormant once more.

Lord Duncan: A former human noble, seizing power while he can. His forces consist of mainly his own guard and what mercenaries he hires, in addition to the occasional adventuring group he brings to his side. He is currently backed by three powerful witches, and is in the midst of his realms civil war, with the victor taking the crown. Currently KIA, and replaced with a successor. "King MacBeth."

Master Ysuf:A former merchant from the Arabian Lands, it was clear that he was more as he seized power during the times of chaos. A kingdom poisoned in mind against its ruler, and the ruler himself dead under mysterious circumstances...As well as himself being named the new ruler. Has what seems to be the most stable out of all the new warlord-carved realms and rumors abound of him being served by foreign demons. Whether or not this is true, the rest of the warlords tread carefully around this one. Kingdoms resources tie into being a pivotal trade center for all the other realms, in the same manner that the Bald Mountain Pass works for the Dark Kingdom. Currently KIA, and his city in ruins and under Dark Kingdom control.

Grond the Ravenous: A warlord in the sense only that he fights everyone who wanders onto his lands, what little is known about this section is a mystery as no survivors live long enough to inform the outside world. Is currently KIA to MacBeth and his forces.

Lord Victor Van DamneThe most recent warlord to come out of obscurity, it is unknown just who this particular warlord is, or his motivations outside of the regular. What little is known is the following...One is that he's opened his realm to monster races as a haven, and second that most of his dealings are shrouded in secrecy.

Lord Urivayotornotach the Great: Lord Urivayotornotach is a red dragon, and is a relatively new warlord, having suddenly appeared in the skies one early morning. Despite being new, Urivayotornotach has already conquered several frontier towns and villages, and united them under his rule, which he calls the Draconarchy. Trade has stopped going to and coming from these towns, and outsiders are not welcome. Outsiders will be killed upon discovery.

Mineral Wealth
Iron and Coal are their man products, however there are also large deposits of lead and copper which have inclusions of zinc. There are also smaller deposits of Silver and Gold, that while not supplying any great quantity are famed for their Purity.

Royal Family
King Dall the Unwell
The Iron King of Caledonia, ruled like a man with Iron in his soul. A Harsh man to rule Harsh people of a Harsh land, and under his rule the lands were stable and safe. That was until his hunting party stumbled across the lair of a Quthangbaet. The Monster savaged into the Kings party slaying many, and striking down the king himself with it's venomous bite. Any lesser man would have been killed outright by the poison, but the king would only slip into a dark sleep, never to awaken.

Prince Regent Hector
Son of Daal the Unwell, a more progressive ruler for a more dangerous time. Using family wealth from the royal coffers he has boosted the land economy as best he could, and fortified the boarders it shares with the southern lands that are now locked in war.

Princess Cellen (Second Born, and Third in line to the throne)
(WIP)

Prince Willard (Third Born, Second in Line)
Only a boy of 5, he was born shortly after his Father fell to the Quthangbaets venom. Sadly his mother died during Childbirth, being raised by his sister...

Cities and Locations of Note
The City and Castle of Eideann are the Capitol of Caledonia. The Castle Eideann sits atop a unique geographical feature, a large basalt plug of rock thrusting upwards some several stories. It's walls are thick and high, due to the law that states that any king that rules over Eideann must fortify it in some way, even in times of peace. Around it sits the sprawling city of Eideann.

The City of Strelling. Sitting at the narrowest point in the river Troshachs, the city of Strelling is by far the second most important city in Caledonia, featuring the Bridge of Strelling. A massive stone bridge spans the 100m crossing, being one of the best river crossings for many dozens of leagues around.

The Wall of Hadrian is a more recent feature, started at the beginning of Hectors rule, and is just now completed. It spans almost three hundred leagues across the southern boarder, sporting forty forts, built to garrison up to five hundred men each. The wall itself is fifty feet high, and thirty feet thick. The spacing of the forts is such that it would only take several hours walk from one to another along it's length.
