Due to the increased number of older individuals between 20-30 yrs. of age living in the Mansion, it has been decided that the presence of these individuals may take away from the fact that the main purpose of the Xavier Institute is to be just that, an Institute of learning. As such, it has been decided that there will be another building of rooms built off to the side of the Institute to house all those who are not enrolled in the Xavier school, but still wish to remain near the campus for the added security technology in place, as well as being in the presence of other's like themselves.

All are welcome to join the X-Corps ranks. The only requirements is that you are graduated from High School and want to join. If you do not wish to join the X-Corps organization but you are out of high school, then you will be required to live in the X-Corps building. Also, please note, that there WILL be coed rooms for married and engaged couples. Also some sort of daycare program for the youngin's who are too young to attend the school.

The X-Corps building, at least on the surface levels are 2 floors, and are mainly offices. There is a helipad behind the building with a X-Corps chopper. On the right side of the X-Corps building there is a 5 car garage. This X-Corps building is built to house all those who may come there/the Institute looking for a safe place to hide or stay during these trying times. As such, all of the rooms where they may sleep are underground on the first sublevel. This will help keep the facade to the public that the building is a legitimate mutant organization and JUST that, while hiding that it is a safe house for some mutants who may or may not be unregistered. The top-of-the-line medbay is for X-Corps is located in the second sublevel, along with a link to the underground system in the Institute itself. That way, X-Corps members will still have access to the Danger Room, as well as the inside of the Institute itself, should they need access to it. There is also a small pantry and kitchen down there as well, but due to the close proximity to the underground structure of the X-Corps building and the underground levels/bunker of the Institute, it still wouldn't be that far of a walk to simply go to the kitchen in the Institute.

Again ANYONE CAN JOIN X-CORPS IF THEY WANT TO!! At a later date we will also setup individual X-Corps teams for specific tasks, such as recon/stealth missions, etc. The leadership for the X-Corps office has not been decided upon yet. There will be a need for people to actually take a more administrative role in this, so those of you who wish to be investors may also actually perform some sort of administrative duty rather than combative duty if you wish.

If you would like to join please reply to this thread.

X-Corps is a worldwide organization which, is essentially, an extension of the X-Men. They have various offices throughout the world and they help protect others (both mutant and human-kind), act as diplomatic agents and peace-keepers, and to be a "good neighbor" and aide those in their local communities. They are perceived to be the "first line" for the mutant community for the rest of the world.

Nice idea, I like it! :-)
Presumably there'll be a brief period while it's being built in the chat. Hopefully just enough time for Alden to 'prove his worth'
(:-P) in the Hellions. Then it'd be great to see him transfered to the new building & possibly the new team(s).

I do beleive that Thaddius would add a good chunk of money to this organization, be it through construction work or simply aid in the financial aspect of things.

Dr. Doll, one of the tutors at the Institute, has a substantial personal fortune, and would also be more than happy to assist with the financial aspect of the new building. Furthermore, whilest he's not much of a combatant, he'd be open to the idea of fulfilling some sort of a reconnaissance/support role within the corps.

Well, also keep in mind that other than the specialized team. X-Corps IS a WORLDWIDE organization. As such, we will need people to actually take a more administrative role in this, so those of you who wish to be investors may also actually perform some sort of administrative duty rather than combative duty if you wish.

Also some sort of daycare program for the youngin's who are too young to attend the school. These will only be a small portion of their duties of course. I'll post ALL the duties they will do later on.
