Alias: Starshot
Real Name: Wayne Tompkins
Age: 32
Race: Mutant
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 203lbs.
Hair: Black
Eye: Blue(natural); Yellow(glow)
Affiliation: X-Men(Gold Team)
Mutation::
Wayne’s body absorbs cosmic energy, in turn he can use that energy to give him the
ability to survive without breathing, fly up to 450mph, enhanced durability to nearly
invulnerable (this is only while going at full speed in flight, the slower he goes the
less durable his body is), and the ability to fire energy blasts from his eyes, hands,
and just around his entire body in general, Wayne also has enhanced stamina thanks to
his body’s absorption of said cosmic energy. Also, when he's using his powers it causes
his eyes to glow yellow, when in flight his entire body glows yellow. Other than simply
being flashy, the glowing really does nothing.
Personality::
He is a bit of a recluse. Living at his home in the woods of New York, secluded from
the rest of the world along with his country's mutant registration act. Due to his past
experiences with humans and more recent actions taken by the United States and the rest
of the world, it has brought out in him a very strong pro-mutant stance. To the point
that he does not see violence as a wrong option in the fight against oppression.
Distinguishing Marks::
2 Red star tattoos on his shoulders as well as another tattoo on his inner left forearm.
History::
When he was 18 he enlisted in the army. While going through basicsome officers rounded
him and a few others up for a "night time drill" which was more of a prank than actual
training. They hadn't been trained on parachutes yet, they strapped one on Wayne and
launched him off a cliff without warning. His shoot wouldn't open which is when his
powers came to be. Safe to say the didn't like mutants so when he landed they beat him
ruthlessly and branded him with an X on his inner left forearm. He was discharged, both
for his safety and because the army didn't want people of his kind enlisted. When the
pro=mutant movement began with the rise of Genosha he had the brand filled with black
ink and red strip on the side as a proud sign of what he is and what he stands for.
After many years of exiling himself in the woods surrounding the Xavier Institute he finally ran into one of the mutants from Xavier's school, Rahne Sinclair. He befriended her and she invited him back to the Institute where he has now been accepted as a member of the elite X-Men squad.
