[Delete] | To know more about the people of Avalon and why it is an unregistered planet as well as a planet hidden from the conflicts between the Galactic Alliance and the Galra Empire, one must know the history of Avalon. To be certain, Avalon is definitely what you're thinking it is. The capital city of Avalon is Albion, the land of the fairies as well as all manner of non humans.
Long ago back when the world of Terra still had leylines and magical capabilities, many a magical creature roamed it's surface as well as a single race of individuals that couldn't utilize magic as well as the other races. That race was known as Humanity. Unable to properly defend themselves against the wilderness they lived in with the paltry amounts of magic they could produce, they quickly learned a new way to defend themselves. They created tools, walls, weapons. They'd eventually invent science and alchemy. Eventually, they passed the other races in terms of technological advancement. It wasn't long before humanity, growing greedy in their pursuit for wealth, power, and understanding that they'd turn their eyes upon those who had more magical capability than them. Humanity's jealousy would erupt into a war against the other races.
One human and a large band of his followers disagreed with the idea of conquering the other races however, and banded together with them, forming an alliance to stop the humans from destroying those they harbored so much jealousy for. The war was long and bloody, King Arthur being one of many victims claimed during the fighting. At the end of the war when the non human races were backed into a corner by humanity, their greatest magic wielder Merlin, used what remained of King Arthur's will and love for those he fought beside to cast a large spell that would remove all traces of magic from Terra along with those that could utilize magic well. The only humans taken with them being those that fought alongside them in the war. The spell would not only remove magic but transport them somewhere far away, to a place where they could live in peace away from humanity. Defeated and crippled the non humans awoke on an unknown world, lush and filled with life. Here, they would make their new home and bury their dead hero to honor him and give thanks for what he had tried to do for them.
The history of Avalon is a brief but bloody chapter in the history books of Terra. However, their history did not end on Terra. Once claiming their new planet for themselves they named it Avalon, crowning four kings to be their rulers. Each king passing along their crown to a successor from their clan, chosen by the king of that clan based on merit and the ability to understand what it meant to be both a man and a king. Since then they've followed this practice for the passing millennia. However, humanity eventually learned to master space travel, giving them access to the stars and therefore a chance of access to the mystical world of Avalon. The four household kings used all their influence to learn the secrets of space travel from humans who managed to wander too close to their world, giving them access to the stars as well. Thus, the Inquisition was formed, a navy and marine corp formed for the sole purpose of protecting Avalon as well as seeking out and liberating non humans from would be human oppressors.
The Inquisition has been sighted on many a world, negotiating or destroying. Their manner of liberation being determined by how the natives chose to handle their treatment of non humans. Though the Inquisition has been sighted on many worlds, no one knows where they come from as they mask their travel path with complex magitech to prevent enemies from following them back to Avalon. They are secretive organization that specializes in surprise visits to other star systems, forcing their way through with pure might should they have to or negotiating safe passage if they can.
The Four great household Kings comprise of the following families. Clan Tepes, the Vampire Clan.
Clan Albios, The Fairy Clan.
Clan Uraboros, The Clan of Demihumans
Clan Tsukinome, The Clan of Beasts
Each of these clans has a ruler that governs the entire planet. The four form a council that acts as leaders, kings, government, as well as diplomats.
