Name: Bellavarna Madthane ~ Actually a Giant Softy

Abilities: None, she's a completely normal human from head to toe. Her leadership skills are above average however and she fights with a purpose that seeks to see her friends and family come out of every conflict alive.

Equipment: Military grade equipment for that of a Major in the Military. Though upon becoming a diplomat her father locked away her weapons and armor into his captain's quarters. She remembered feeling naked without them at the time.

Bio: Bellavarna was born a planet called Hedris, one of the many different planets taken by Mum-Ra's forces before the war officially began. Her mother a witch born on Hedris, her father a human pilot from the planet Terra. Due to her father, Gerard's, lack of magic circuits in his body he was unable to use or even sense magic like all the people on Hedris. He was an anomaly one that Bell's mother, Revia, wish to hide from Mum-Ra's eyes. Together they worked the quarry on Hedris's northern pole for Mum-ra's war chest. They'd eventually have a child, name her Bellavarna after Gerard's mother, and stage a breakout from the slave camp. The ensuing chaos would allow the Madthane family to escape to the local starport, hop on a freighter and end up on an unregistered planet after raiders from it took over the freighter. The planet they'd find themselves on would be Avalon.

Bell's Childhood: As a child, she spent the first 10 years of her life on Hedris, knowing only suffering and chains. Her oldest memories were of hardened hearts and cold stares from strangers in the slave camp with her and her family. She remembered asking her father why they had to work a quarry with so little food and water being their reward. Her father only told her that "sometimes things don't go as planned and you must think hard about what the solution to the problem." She'd never understand what he meant by that until much later in life. By her 10th birthday her father finished gathering support from the camp and staged a breakout, securing the freedom of almost all the slaves of the northern pole quarry.

Avalon, the planet they'd eventually come to know as home, was a non human paradise with only a few humans populating it. The number of human lives dotting Avalon's surface numbered only in a few thousand, scattered across the world. Bell would come to know peaceful times on Avalon, if only for a few years. Being human made the raiders that captured them quite harsh towards them, that was until they learned that her mother was a witch. Showing them some compassion, thinking they were all non humans they were allowed safe passage to the surface of Avalon where they'd live in relative harmony with the non humans there for three full years. Bell would learn non human history as well as human history, though the way the non humans chose to tell it. Knowing full well that humanity wasn't nearly as bad as the non humans made them out to be, she'd quickly grow somewhat bitter to those who weren't human. Upon their third year on Avalon, her mother would finally succumb to a disease her foreign immune system to that world wasn't able to fend off. Upon her death, things would become progressively more difficult for Bell and her father going forward, especially once those they lived among learned they were actually human.

Growth and Understanding: Being cast out of the city they had been living in, unable to remain due to them being humans, Bell and her father would journey out into the wilds, seeking out their own future. Gerard had been steadily saving up money in attempt to take Bell back to Terran Space, to raise her properly, but that changed the moment they were unable to stay in the city. Seeking out a smaller town or settlement, the two of them would happen upon a grove. In it lay a gravestone with only a two sentences. "What is it that makes a King a King? What is it that makes a Man a Man?" It was written in old style writing that Gerard would recognize as old English script. The kind of script that dated as far back as the 9th century on Terra. Next to the gravestone, there'd be a large stone with a sword burried tightly into it, unaffected by the passage of time as the grove itself looked incredibly old.

Bell wouldn't understand the meaning behind those questions on the gravestone. Her father however, had a good grasp of what it meant. He soon realized that the entire planet was hallowed ground simply for that grave being there. If his understanding of history was still correct anyway. She remembered that the moment he saw those questions and the gravestone he'd gone quite pale with eyes in awe for some reason. It would be much much later until she understood why her father had such a deep respect for this planet and it's people going forward. The next 5 or so years, they'd both spend their time among other humans they found living at a shrine not but three days walk from the grove they'd discovered, taking work in the small town on the edge of the hill the shrine sat upon. Eventually though, Gerard would save up enough money to pay for a small ship for him and his daughter to leave the planet. Sneaking past the planet's rather heavy defense net, they'd travel back to Terran Space, just in time to hear about the war starting up and what would eventually be New Atlas being attacked by the forces of Mum-Ra, Earth being attacked by Aku, and many others across the galaxy coming under fire by various forces of darkness. Bell didn't waste anytime. She enlisted to fight and was sent off to her first year in boot camp. After a year and half of training she'd be given her own Platoon, most of them non humans. During her service, she'd eventually meet someone who'd change her life in more ways than she could have imagined at the time.

Quirks: She likes cute things to the point of an obsession and she secretly likes dressing up in cosplay outfits, her favorite of all being that of a maid for some reason.
