Background Info: Blackdawn Industries was started about a hundred years ago, by Matthias Blackdawn. Matthias Backdawn, a tinkerer and avid gun enthusiast, pursued the craft of gunsmithing until the day he died. To this day, Matthias Blackdawn has been credited with the invention of the sliding clip, as well as the trigger frame for semi-automatic pistols. From this Blackdawn Industries was born,

Today: Today, Blackdawn Industries is one of the worlds leading companies in anufacturing, design, and new technology in weaponry. and warfare. They are creditted for the creation of the Thompson, the BAR, the M1 garand the 1911 Colt semi-automatic pistol, and the fragmentation grenade.

Other, more minor inventions have included barbed wire, duck tape, and military ciphers, as well as pushing for country wide radio towers and devices.

Weapons Sold: (most common to least common)

.38 snub nosed pistol:
http://www.horstauction.com/Mar.%20Gun/011.JPG
the .38 revolver is about as standard as it gets. Used for home protection, and law enforcement, it's a reliable 6 shots in a compact, easy to conceal weapon. While the bullet is not the largest, it provides sufficient stopping power that law enforcement normally utilize it. It is user friendly and can be maintained easily, however, because most .38's are snub nosed, recoil from firing the gun is high, and shooting it with great speed is difficult to do. .38 revolvers are the most common of the revolver types, and they are also the cheapest type of gun on the market. Great for protection!

.357 Revolver:
http://world.guns.ru/userfiles/images/handguns/usa/revolver/1287755567.jpg
Longer barrerls, bigger bullets, and more stopping power are packed into this revolver than its alternate. These are just as available, and their durability and ned for maintanace are identical with the .38 calibers. While there is more recoil in the .357, it also has less range since the bullet is bigger, however, the rounds from these revolvers create larger holes, and more damage to the target. This grade of revolver is available at a moderate cost, and are found just as often as its light weight counterpart. While more expensive than the .38 revolver, one definately gets their moneys worth with the upgrade.

1911 Colt
http://militaryfactory.com/smallarms/imgs/colt-m1911.jpg
The pride of Blackdawn industries is the 1911 Colt Semi-automatic pistol. Housing 7 rounds plus one in the chamber, it is capable of firing as fast as the user can pull the trigger. It uses .45 ACP rounds, which were designed for the battlefield. However, not in the way that you may think. The design behind the 1911 was to be an efficient wounder of soldiers, not a killer. The idea was that if a sldier was killed on the field, that it would take one soldier off the battlefield. However, if a soldier is injured on the battlefield, it takes 3 enemy soldiers off the battlefield. One enemy soldier thats been shot, and two soldiers to carry him off the field. Thus, while critical body parts are still a factor, the stopping power of the 1911 is less than that of its revolver counterparts. However it's reload speed and firing rate is sufficiently faster, as well as the recoil being significantly lower than that of its revolver counterparts. In truth, the only flaw that the gun has is its need for regular maintenance, otherwise, the 1911 has a greater risk of jamming than a revolver. While these weapons are available for purchase in stores, they often times are incredibly expensive, and are only bought by the most avid, or wealthy, gun enthusiasts.

Double Barreled Shotguns
http://www.dogsanddoubles.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Lot_868.jpg
Most commonly used for hunting and sporting, the double barreled shotgun is a household favorite. The most common shotguns use 12 gauge rounds, and they can either be used with slugs, or things such as pigeon or rat pellets, which create a spread. The 12 gauge has devastating power up close, however the farther the range on a target, the less accurate the shotgun is, as well as the bullet having less power when it hits. The stock opens and the the round remains are self ejecting, so while there are only two rounds in the gun at max at any given point, the reload speed is fairly fast. Furthermore, these shotguns are capable of being sawed down, on both the barrel and stock sides, to fashion what is known as "Sawed off" shotguns. While these have been designated as weapons of terror and are illegal to have, this does not stop people from making them, as it is as asimple as sawing off two pieces of the gun. Most double barreled shotguns have two triggers, so the operator can choose which barrel the bullet comes from. Double barreled shotguns are available at a low cost, and are the most common shotgun bought.

Sawed Off Shotgun:
http://www.thespecialistsltd.com/files/replica_sawed_off_dbl_shotgun.jpg
The sawed off shotgun is home fashioned, not sold in stores. However, because Double Barreled Shotguns can be bought virtually anywhere, sawd off shotguns have become a favorite among criminals and gangsters. Their extreme killing power, fast reload time, and spread make them a dangerous weapon. however their range limits them to being used up close. While these weapons are more easy to conceal than a normal shotgun, sticking it in your coat is ill advised, as it creates a large bulge. Most sawed off shotguns are under 24 inches in barrel length. These are not sold in any stores, and making one is often cheaper than buying one. These guns are illegal and it is a crime to possess them. Most often used by criminals and gangsters.

Pump Action Shotguns
http://www.guns.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/western-fields-savage1.jpg
Pump action shotguns are one of the new marvels of Backdawn Industries. Capable of holding up to 8 rounds, the pump action shot gun has the same stopping power and range as its double barrreled counterparts, without the irrritating need to reload after every two shots. A simple pump ejects an empty (or full) shell, allowing for a much faster firing rate. While these can be sawed off as well, it is uncommon tos ee this because of how new the pump action design is. In most cases, only the wealthy sportsman, avid hunter, and law enforcement, have these.

Bolt Action Rifles:
http://picturearchive.gunauction.com/4866000728/10037189/3a5dc4db4b85abbf350761c605d55c47.jpg
Single shot, the working man's rifle. The single shot rifle is the most common gun in the lands, and its caliber of bullets go from the smallest to the largest. (.22 millimeter to .30 caliber). Bolt action rifles are the most common of rifles, often used for hunting, and affordable even for the blue collar class. Bolt action rifles have a great range and high stopping power, and with the addition of the scope, an additional purchase, a hunting rifle can become sniper rifle. Bolt action rifles are the most common of the rifle class, able to be bought at a cheap price just about anywhere.

Lever Action Rifles:
http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130729230100/guns/images/8/88/1860_henry_rifle.jpg
The lever action rifle is the gun that "won the West"; or, Oz, as other know it. Used by ranchers, sportsman, and gun enthusiasts, the lever action rifle provides the power of the 30-06 cartridge without the need for reloading after every shot. While this rifle can be fitted with a scope as well, it is uncommon to see, because the lever action is actually capable of altering the sighting on the scope. This is a favorite rifle among hunters, and with the ability to hold 8 rounds, it's a gun classic. It is available for purchase in most gun shops, at a moderate price.

SPECIAL WEAPONRY:
The following weaponry is not available for purchase in local stores. Cizens owning one of the following weapons are immediately placed on a watchlist, unless the person possessing it is a law enforcement officer, military operative, diplomat and government offical, or those with extreme wealth to have the pull to possess one without filing the paperwork.

The Thompson, 1928
http://www.thespecialistsltd.com/files/Thompson-M1A1.jpg - Straight Clip
http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101104132813/deadliestfiction/images/e/e4/Thompson.jpg - Drum Clip
The thompson is a fully automatic machine gun. Used by police officers, and ilitary, it has become famous for its use by gangsters, because of its extreme fire rate. Many of these weapons, while fited for military use, have ended up in the streets because of its high capacity magazines and extrme killing power. Police and gangsters are both avid users of this weapon, which was invented by BlackDawn Industries. The Thompson has two different clips, a fifty round drum, and a thirty round straight magazine. The Thompson, while having a high fire rate with sufficient stopping power, also has a tendency to jam. This occurs more often in the drum clip than the straight, so because of this, it is often suggested in packaging that the gun be regularly cleaned and maintained. The cost for this weapon out of a catalog is expensive, as its one of the newer models of guns.

M1 Garand
http://glock.pro/attachments/non-glock-firearms/5488d1380204492-m1-garand-rifle-m1rifle.jpg
The M1 garand is the epitome of sophisticated rifles. Miltary issue, this gun is owned only by professionals, military servicemen, law enforcement, and the ones with the wealth to get this privately. THEY ARE NOT SOLD IN CATALOGS OR STORES. The M1 Garand is rifle that has a self ejecting clip which hold up to 7 30-06 rounds. They have signifant range and stopping power, making them one of the best weapons of the times. While this weapon is semi automatic, it is eextrmely reliable and durable because of its wood frame and low amounts of steel. This weapon is so reliable it is the main rifle issued to new recruits when they enter the Armed Forces. Can only be bought either through government contracts, or on the Black Market. Many military men have this gun issued to them, and so there are many of them in citizen homes.

BAR Machine Gun
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/75/Army_Heritage_Museum_B.A.R..jpg/800px-Army_Heritage_Museum_B.A.R..jpg
The epitome of a killing machine, the BAR houses .30 caliber rounds, the largest round available. It uses a rope bullet line, normally fitted into a thousand round packages. This gun has incredible stopping power and fire rate, and is able to eat through steel, and even concrete. Used primarily by military, having one of these weapons is a federal crime, and they are not available for purchase anywhere. This gun has a chance of jamming and overheating if fired for too long, so users are cautioned on maintenance.
*Final Note: This is the weapon rumored to have been used by famous robbers Bonnie and Clyde. It is not suggested that this gun be fired from the hip, in fact it is not suggested to be shot while not using a tripod or stabilization legs. Period.

Fragmentation grenade
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/80/MK2_grenade_DoD.jpg
While dynamite was normally used as an explosive, Blackdawn industries has recently designed whats been called the "Fragmentation grenade" Using explosive force and metal shrapnel, this weapon is designed for military forces who need to clear out a large group of people while maintaining the military's numbers. As simple as pulling a pin and releasing the timer, the fragmentation grenade with explode 4-7 seconds after the timer is released. This is another banned weapon, and is only given to military servicemen. One time use, extreme killing power.
