Thread for Status of the Mansion Index | New Thread | Reply | Close | Stick | Delete  Status of the Mansion Remy 4:03pm, November 06, 2005 [Edit] [Delete] Last night the Xavier Mansion suffered a moderate assault from the protestors outside. There were minimal cassualties, and those that attacked were rounded up and rushed by chopper to a nearby hospital. The Reverend, however, managed to slip through the X-men's fingers. And the vacant area outside the Mansion gates was once more filled with two times as many protestors as before. These numbers have been steadily increasing since last night as newspapers print tidbits of what reportedly happened. A good number of the papers seem intent on printing that the riot was started by the mutants in the Mansion attacking the protestors, however, the truth of the matter has reached the important political sources. As a result the SCPD has sent out a state-wide call to other police departments for any available men to help maintain the crowd. Police vans and vehicles filled with boys-in-blue decked in Riot Gear have been seen en route to Salem Center, New York organizing in efforts to attempt to maintain the crowds. Despite the number of volunteers, no officers have yet shown up outside the Mansion. Above info can be found ICly by way of radios, television and/or newspapers :) Feel free to play it up how you see fit. - Oh, and as a note, the power and all systems in the X-Mansion are still down and the cause being investigated.  Update Remy 4:13pm, November 10, 2005 [Edit] [Delete] Minimal Power has been restored to the Mansion itself, The Lower levels are running on a barebones power setup.
