In local news, it's just been released this morning at Nelson and Murdock, a reputable law office home to the neighborhood known on the streets as Hell's Kitchen, has issued a lawsuit against the publishers of The Sun for Four Hundred Million dollars for libel.
The original article posted in the July 17th of all media forms owned by Sun Publications painted Mr. Murdock not only as being not-blind and the vigilante DareDevil, but also as cruel and moral-less man.
Since the article's printing there has been an uproar of voices calling out on both sides of the line.
We took a reporter to the streets to give YOU the real story on just what people are saying on streets.

[Delete] | I don't understand it at all. Mr. Murdock was nothing but a sweetheart to me, he helped me through all my legal issues AND didn't even make me pay him for any of it. That man is a saint of lawyer, and one of a few that are actually good-hearted men.
I don't know if he's DareDevil or not...But if he is, more power to him! |

That cracker's always been up to no good, straight up cramping my business... it don't surprise me none that he's the Daredevil, considering how many brothers that cat's taken down in this area. And being a fake gimp? that shit ain't right, my cuz don't see half the cash that white boy probably does collecting disability from The Man.

[Delete] | Eariler today, police broke up what appeared to be a gang war that exploded in Hell's Kitchen. Numerous eye-witnesses to the fight claim that a group of more than a hundred men attacked someone out on the streets. Though, when asked to descibe the victim, nobody can really say exactly what he looked like.
According the reports, the person that was attacked managed to fend off the gang until policed arrived, then simply vanished.
The gang members were arrested on the spot and taken in for questioning. |

I mean the guy got me off some really bad statutory rape charges that were filled against me. He's a godsend. |

[Delete] | 400 million?! You have got to be fu---er...freakin' kidding me. The idea of him pretending to be blind doesn't offend me nearly as much as that outrageous pricetag. Doesn't this country already have enough bloated lawsuits? I can understand wanting to take 'em to task for printing such outrageous things about him. But as a lawyer, Mr. Murdock must surely realize he'd only get a fraction of that awarded at best...and by asking for such an amount, he's only raising the bar for other people, with even less convincing cases than his, to go for even more mind-boggling payouts. The Sun'd do well to settle outta court, for the sake of more people than just themselves and Mr. Murdock. |
