[Delete] | It’s a new day, my head is clear enough to say something without my emotions hindering my thought, so I will now state my official word, disccussion, and points on this issue. I’m hoping that people will realize it’s not a good trait to jump to conclusions when only hearing one side of a story, especially one completely out of context.
First of all, I see that a big issue here is favoritism. Apparently people feel we treat people differently than others. This is true...but not in the way you’re being told or thinking it is.
Cru is a Prime example of our so-called “Favoritism”.
I ask you, how many times have you seen in chat where Cru has started an argument all on his own(and even continuing said argument, even to argue with himself)? How many times in the time he has been in here has he been utterly disrespectful, not only to ALL the admins, but other chatters as well.
We have given Cru more chances than ANYONE in this chat. He has gotten away with more insults, arguments, and disrespecting admins at levels where any normal chatter would have been instantly perm-banned. He has threatened stalking and even made death threats...and yet we have turned our heads to it. Until now.
This perm-banning goes FAR beyond what happened last night.
About three to four months ago, I warned Cru that his insults and arguments needed to stop, that I said we were going to give no more chances and gave him an ultimatum. They were going to stop or he will be permbanned. He agreed to this.
His good behaviour lasted a week and a half after this ultimatum, where he utterly disrespected me not only as an admin, but as a person. At this point, I gathered the admins up to decide on his fate in the chat.
It was unanimously voted that he had been given enough chances, and we were prepared to permanently ban him from the chat.
However, even then, my habit of giving people the benefit of a doubt tugged at me and I decided to make an arrangement.
Under this arrangement, Cru would have been banned for one whole week. Upon his return, if he stepped out of line in ANY case(be it argument, disrespecting, or insult), he was permanently out of the chat.
Even before last night, he has broken this no less than three times, and we still gave him more chances.
Last night, he pushed his luck and lost.
That was the difference between being banned for a night, and being banned permanently...because Cru knew that the next time he was banned, it would be forever. He even knew this much to even ask about it when it happened, thus the screen shots he provided, which not only are NOT his private messages, but Taps.
We do not play favorites. We treat people differently, of course, because everyone is different. We’ve always treated EVERYONE as equals. EVERYONE has gotten something special, whether it’s treatment, or a character, or a plot, etc.
Anyone who doesn’t think we go out of our way for all of you guys all the time needs to seriously re-concider things. Because we do.
Cru’s message on the board is completely out of context, because he fails to mention the agreement he had with the administration pertaining to his behaviour. His perm-ban isn’t over continuing this one argument, but of his OVERALL behaviour in this chat room from day one.
I cannot say about the reasons why Remy decided on this argument to be the final straw, only that Cru very much disrespected him. In a PM or not, it is still in the chat, directly to him. It’s as equal as if he said it publicly.
If Remy wishes to clarify this, I will leave it to him to do so.
In the end, I will outright say how disappointed and disheartened I am in some people for making conclusions based on a half- and twisted truth. I hope they may re-concider things knowing a bit more of the story.

This last one is important to read, so that everyone can draw their own conclusions as to what to believe.
Honestly, I have been forever GIVING to Cru, with infinite patience, benefits of the doubt, and a multitude of chances. Everytime was stepped on, stomped all over...and ground into the dirt.
Just keep in mind this would have happened sooner if we, as an adminship, weren’t so generous.
On a slightly different note, I will state that this will not hinder me from my responsibilities as admin, nor stop me from RPing and having fun in my chat, and Project JJ as a whole.
I hope it does not hinder you in chat either.
