OSCORP ATTACK

Jonah Jameson 6:35am, February 22, 2006 [Edit] [Delete]	OSCORP ATTACK Today in a press release from Industrialist Norman Osborn, CEO of Osborn Industries, announced that the Oscorp building had indeed suffered an two seperate attacks which are currently under police investigation. The first attack involved a high alert when a masked man was discovered wandering around secured areas of the Oscorp building which ultimately landed one security officer in hospital. The man remains unidentified and is wanted for questioning by the New York Police department. The other was described as a much more serious which resulted in the destruction of almost an entire floor, however no danger or harm to any Oscorp employee was inflicted. According to eye witness accounts, the attack was performed by none other than the infamous villian the Green Goblin, this would further douse and fuel rumors that Norman Osborn is infact the masked criminal. Where some might suggest that it was a simple ploy in order to direct attention away from the concept, it was previously reported almost six months ago that the Green Goblin had attacked several corporate headquarters that are considered top competitors of Osborn Industries, however the recent attack might possibly be a continuation of these terrorist activites. However, likes of economists and financial advisors doubt the possibility as it would be poor judgement for Norman Osborn to attack his own company and endanger the health of his own and stockholder's company shares. This also coincides with recent rumors that Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four was infact spotted arriving at the Oscorp building...(continued on pg. 4)
PUNISHER PUNISHED

Jonah Jameson 3:25am, March 07, 2006 [Edit] [Delete]	PUNISHER PUNISHED Violent Vigilante Imprisoned After the destruction of a building within Hell's Kitchen, Frank Castle also known as the brutally violent vigilante The Punisher, who has been waging a never ending war against organized crime and the underworld was apprehended by NYPD's 145th Precinct. Some sources report that costumed self-proclaimed guardian and Kingpin of Hell's Kitchen DareDevil - still believed to be resident lawyer Matt Murdock - was behind his apprehension but a spokesperson for the 145th Precinct has denied this claim, insisting that Castle was arrested by none other than their own officers, hopefully putting an end to an increase in murders occurring in all areas of New York City. Several arrangements have taken place to insure that The Punisher was not able to inflict anymore damage upon another human being and that no harm come upon him from a lurking "Jack Ruby" when he was escorted out this morning by the arresting officer and a cadre of SWAT officer while he was clad in titanium manacles and a face shield to keep him restrained and a bulletproof vest to protect him. Castle was immediately transported Riker's Island Penientiary and placed in solitary confinement, with no set bail. MUTANT TERRORIST EXCLUSIVE

Jonah Jameson 6:22am, March 10, 2006 [Edit] [Delete]	MUTANT TERRORIST EXCLUSIVE JFK Int'l Bombing Revealed Today with an exclusive interview with the Daily Bugle, mutant terrorist Ewan MacLeod, once suspected of committing the bombing at JFK International Airport several years ago has come forward. The attack, though resulted in no causalities but significant damage to the airport ultimately causing MacLeod to spend many years out of the ever watchful eyes of the authorities, heightened anger towards the mutant community. Only later turning himself in and be found innocent of all charges, he avoided any further media attention and eventually receiving a Presidential pardon not long after. Almost four years later, he desires to get the weight off his shoulders after so long and inform the public of the truth. When queried about the attack the man hailing from Glasgow, Scotland bluntly replied, "I did it". No remorse or guilt found in his voice, only pride for having followed through with the terrible attack, "Interesting thing I learned not too long ago, in the United States, a man can not be tried for the crime if he's already been found innocent of," he adds. The Presidential pardon further insures that MacLeod is no way responsible legally for what he has been pardoned from. Whether MacLeod will take the opportunity to bring forth further terrorist acts on American soil now lingers in the minds of many Americans. This has essentially permitted MacLeod to commit the perfect crime, "That I have. And I'm feeling really good about it," he gloats. This will understandably cause an out roar from the public, especially from anti-mutant groups who were outspoken when MacLeod was originally arrested and again when he turned himself in, proclaiming that MacLeod was a solid example of the inability of mutants and humans to peacefully coexist, the dire need to return the proposal for Senator Robert Kelly's Mutant Registration Act to Congress in order to...(continued of pg.2)
PUNISHER ESCAPES

Jonah Jameson 5:49am, March 17, 2006 [Edit] [Delete]	PUNISHER ESCAPES Vigilante at Large Only after a short time after his arrest, Frank Castle also known as the vigilante; The Punisher, has escaped from Riker's Island after what has been described as a bloody and gruesome stay. Conveniently, since Castle's arrival at the prison - while in solitary confinement - the prison morgue reportedly received several more inmates. It is highly likely this is due to Castle's pursuit for justice, he has extended that ambition behind bars to those that have managed to escape The Punisher's particular and gory brand of the law. Though no officials from Riker's were available to comment, it is probable a search will ensue for The Punisher in order to properly and fully end his destructive string of gangland murderers, though there has not been a public outcry for his arrest, lawmakers and police officials continue to state that Castle is not above the law...(continued pg. 4) Edited 11:52pm, March 16, 2006 by J. D.A Corporate President found dead!

There are still no suspects to be charged in the case, but speculations have pointed to the hired hit-man, known only as The Russian. This speculation was spurred from the extreme damage done to the victim's body, which had been severely beaten with extreme force.
Japan in chaos after Nuclear Fallout

Just hours after announcing that the Japanese based cell of AMTF would be mounting a nuclear attack against the Mutant Nation of Genosha, Magento, it's leader, appeared over the country and removed it's nuclear capabilty. He then launched the missles back at them and hit several targets, including Tokyo, Okinawa, and Hiroshima. It's now believed that Magneto is still in possession of one more nuclear weapon, and at this time, it is still unknown as to what he intends to do with it. Jonah Jameson, the notorious gangster Billy Russo also known as Jigsaw due to his facial scars which resemble a jigsaw due to an encounter with the Punisher has announced a bounty of an undisclosed amount of money on the vigilante. The bounty is not the first to placed upon a "superhero", the Daily Bugle having placed its own with the unmasking of the menace Spider-Man. It should be known that the Daily Bugle is no way associating itself with this bounty with aligning itself with a known criminal or contributing money to the bounty with its deadly intention in which Jigsaw desires to see "Castle's corpse at his feet." JAPAN AID RACE

Jonah Jameson 4:26pm, May 05, 2006 [Edit] [Delete]	JAPAN AID RACE Celebs donate Aid As nations around the globe contribute donations to help the recently attacked Japan, a glimmer of hope in the wake of death and rise of mutant hatred that has risen since the nuclear attack, local celebrities have donated their own aid towards different relief funds. Just like several countries, celebrities too are attempting to out do one another with higher forms and and amounts of charity. Billionaire Tony Stark, CEO of Stark Enterprises, is one of the prime examples of kindness offered by the New York's more elite crowd in which he has placed forth several million towards relief funds. Lawyer Matt Murdock is rumored to have donated, some believe to further seperate himself from old alligations of a dual identity to the costumed hero DareDevil and acquiring a large sum of money from The Sun in prevention of a lawsuit. All Eyes On Genosha
Ben Urich 6:30am, January 02, 2007 [Edit] [Delete]	ALL EYES ON GENOSHA By Ben Urich New York has been declared a disaster area after the mutant terrorist and leader of Genosha, Magneto, literally kidnapped an entire district of citizens. The area of New York known as District X and often referred to as "Mutant Town", is widely know as one of the first communities primarily comprised of mutant residents. The district has been plagued with high crime rate, little to no funding and less than favorable living environments. Months ago, Magneto, after hijacking several nuclear weapons from Japan, and launching two in retaliation to Japan's threats, gave President Knight an ultimatum to better communities like District X or he would step in. It would seem that his ultimatum has ended and he is now taking matters into his own hands. Along with District X, 7 other mutant communities from around the globe have also been "liberated" by Magneto. Paris, Hong Kong, Moscow, and two from Japan's nation have all been taken, supposably back to Genosha. Is Magneto gearing up for a war? Along with better the mutant communities, Magneto also instructed Knight to shut down all remaining AMTF cells and have the men in charge held responsible for genocide. With no official announcements made about the AMTF in months, one can only expect that Magneto will make good on taking care of business himself, as he has with his promise to "free" mutants from poverty. There's also the matter of Japanese retaliation. On top of Magneto launching not one, but two nuclear missiles into Japan's soil, he's also believed to be possibly behind the assassinations from last night's Time's Square disaster. Pyro, a thought to be dead, known mutant criminal, was at the center of the attack. He's a known accomplice to Magneto, which has brought about many conclusions that the entire event was planned as an appetizer to today's main course. Then there's America and other nations who's communities have been kidnapped from their respective countries. How will the World's Leaders handle nearly 100,000 of it's population snatched away to the enigmatic country of Genosha? And so, all eyes are on Genosha. Jonah Jameson 11:48pm, February 23, 2007 [Edit] [Delete]	COUNTRIES OFFER REFUGE EMRC extends helping-hand to Asian Mutants In a press release yesterday, Dr. Kendra Huppach, leader of the European Mutants' Rights Coalition, announced that the organization has reached out to nations worldwide in the effort to establish safe havens for mutants oppressed by their countries of residence. As of today, Uruguay, Sweden, and New Zealand have stepped in to offer refuge to those displaced or otherwise injured by anti-mutant legislation. The EMRC is certain that others are to follow. Joining the EMRC is Stark International, which has promised business incentives to boost the economies of participating nations. Says CEO Tony Stark, “Stark International feels it is our duty to condemn the ill treatment of any people based solely upon their race, sex, or genetic makeup. We support all actions toward a safer and more tolerant tomorrow.”
France, the Future Society?
Joseph Robertson 5:48pm, February 24, 2007 [Edit] [Delete]	France, the Future Society? devastated nation rebuilt What can only be described as miraculous, the once destroyed country of France has been restored due to the efforts of Dr. Victor Von Doom, ruler and dictator of the country of Latveria. Through methods as of yet to be determined, the Latverian dictator rebuilt the country, creating a vast and extensive metropolis with technology years ahead of the rest of the world. In a statement released to the press, the President of France said "We are eternally greatful for the help given to us by Dr. Doom. Through his single efforts we have reason from our ruin. and have become the nation we were always meant to be." Praising Doom for his efforts, the President also brought to light an alliance with nation of Latveria, claiming that the two nations were as one. Rumors abound presently to Dr. Dooms motives. It is heavily speculated in the international arena that Dr. Doom has yet another secret agenda in store for Europe, perhaps even the world. It is the opinion of this reporter that no matter what intentions the good doctor may have, it will inevitable prove to be bad.

An anonymous donor has provided the Daily Bugle with $250,000 for his unmasking and capture after Toxin attacked and assaulted respected Bugle publisher J. Jonah Jameson and dealt extensive damage to the Daily Bugle building. Toxin revealed!

As it turns out, Toxin is none other than one of the NYPD's own, an officer named Pat Mulligan. The question remains, however, if whether or not this is en elaborate hoax, or if Mulligan really is Toxin like Summers has claimed. In the next couple of weeks, this reporter will be trying to get an exclusive interview with Mulligan and shed some light on his second crime-fighting job. Article nixed by J. Jonah Jameson. CRIME LORD MURDERED
J. Jonah Jameson 8:12pm, April 09, 2007 [Edit] [Delete]	CRIME LORD MURDERED A Look inside the Boy’s Mind Who Took on Harlem By Alan Lockhart New York City has seen its fair share of crime. Ever since the 1920s, Harlem has witnessed more crime than most modern American cities has, including extortion, drug-use, robbery and murder. Today, despite a supposed cultural and economic renaissance, is no different. Below the surface, below the statistics saying that overall crime has fallen sixty percent, Harlem is gripped with organized crime. Raoul Rodriguez had been in charge of what his followers call his “crew” for over fifteen years, operating out of Harlem, out of a renovated building referred to simply as “The Hotel.” Raoul’s reach extended far beyond his physical grasp and his means to fully enforce his laws. It went all of the way down to even Chinatown and the Lower East Side. The man became a myth, a whispered name that residents quickly glance around to make sure nobody is listening in before speaking. Now, however, his name is said without caution because Raoul Rodriguez is dead. Raoul was found, murdered, in his private V.I.P. room adjacent to the party he was throwing last Monday, one week ago. Who would be so bold as to kill this crime lord? Witnesses at the party have told police investigators that a young man, a teenager, left Raoul’s room just before his body and the body of a female prostitute were found there. This boy, members of Raoul’s crew say, worked for Rodriguez. They say he was one of them who went around running errands and enforcing payments and the laws of the land. They say he went only by the name Copycat. Apparently, this is because he is a mutant, and he is able to mimic the enhanced abilities of another Homo sapiens superior. Rodriguez’s death was a surprising one to the Harlem community, and, of course, to his crew. It has blown open the doors on his organization, revealing to local police just what has been happening right underneath their eyes. Numerous arrests have been made since last Monday, and police Captain Robert Sewell expects there to be many more by the end of April. He says, “…Rodriguez’s organization will not see someone take his place. This will not endure.” When asked what the Captain plans on doing about this Copycat person, he said that he was following leads in determining his location and that he had no further comments. An investigation on Raoul Rodriguez’s murder and on the extent of his underground crime organization is underway. However, the real story is this boy who allegedly killed Rodriguez. Were Rodriguez’s men correct? Did Copycat murder the leader of their very lucrative enterprise? I had the privilege of meeting Copycat and speaking with him. He wishes for me to tell what allegedly happened…and why he has done what he says he has done. Everything that is told beyond this point has not been proven fact and is subject change as investigations continue and official police and court reports are pending. Copycat’s name is Jacob Herschz and he is seventeen years old. He will be eighteen this July. This is the first time he has said his real name publicly in over two months. He is, indeed, a mutant with a “copying” ability. He can use the “powers” of another mutant for himself. Jacob grew up in a suburban home with his parents and an older brother. The environment was strict, structured and oppressing. When Jacob’s brother came out to the family as a mutant, his parents would have nothing of it, and threw him out of the house. Some time later, Herschz discovered himself to be a mutant as well, so he left home to avoid that same confrontation his brother had had. Jacob thought he could find his brother and they would help each other get by in the city. Unfortunately, Jacob would not find his brother and, to this day, still is not sure of his whereabouts. On his own, living day by day however he could, Jacob saw many things…but the one thing that got to him most was the crime he saw happening – the injustices to the innocent. Jacob saw much and, after witnessing a very harsh incident involving a mom-and-pop shop burning to the ground, with the mom and pop still inside, Jacob vowed to put a stop to it however he could. So Herschz infiltrated Raoul Rodriguez’s crew. He was successfully “jumped in” and given small jobs, tasks, to execute throughout Rodriguez’s territory. He admits to committing many crimes, including but not limited to assault, robbery and burglary, arson, petty theft and auto theft, extortion, counterfeiting, possession and the purchasing and selling of narcotics, possession of illegal firearms and murder. He knew what he was doing…and understood the cost that would someday ring in his ears; that one day he would have to face the consequences for the things he has done. To him, though, the cost was worth reaching his goal. So, after waiting so long and after careful planning, Herschz was finally ready to carry out what he had set out to do months before. Despite having never met Rodriguez, like the majority of his crew, Herschz felt he had to take out the head of the organization in order to put a stop to all the violence against the innocent. Herschz snuck into a private party Rodriguez was throwing at The Hotel and was able to get into the V.I.P. room, where the aforementioned prostitute was waiting for Rodriguez. Jacob had no choice but to kill her and hide the body before Raoul came in. He hid and waited until Rodriguez entered the V.I.P. room and strangled him to death before shooting him in the head. Herschz then quickly left the party. The two bodies were found quickly after and since this incident, Rodriguez’s crew has been on a bloody warpath against Herschz, hunting him openly in the streets and foregoing all caution Rodriguez took in keeping his organization a secret. Herschz is now responsible for inadvertently bringing the police in on Rodriguez’s operations and a new, unfamiliar meaning to the word “peace” to local residents and business owners in Harlem and throughout Manhattan. Herschz’s decision to come out into the public eye with his story is courageous, self-sacrificing and even a little dangerous, in that he is showing his enemies exactly where he is. Though, in his words, he feels that he needs to pay for the crimes he has committed against those he was attempting to liberate, “…this is…payback for getting into it with Raoul.” Herschz says he is fully prepared to stand before a judge and take whatever sentence is given to him. Amazingly, in talking with him, I have found that beneath this Copycat persona he has put up around him to fit in to the gang life, that under the crimes, the pain, the revenge and the vigilantism, there is just a normal young man with ambition, dreams, growing pains, messy hair and a strong desire to make something of himself. Harlem has seen more than its fair share of crime since the 1920s, and Jacob Herschz is just one person who decided he had had enough…and put a stop to one of the largest underground crime organizations since Al Capone. Spider-Man: Cop-killer!

Earlier this week, eye-witnesses observed Spider-Man in action as he demolished police officers outside a New York City diner. Eye witness reports confirm that a man entered the diner and proceeded to order, later this same man then bashed a fellow customer's head into the counter top, killing the individual. The John Doe then pulled on the trademark colors of the menace known as Spider-Man and proceeded to step outside to face awaiting officers. The police were met with extreme force as Spider-Man proceeded to sling his webbing into a police vehicle and mow down the officers on scene with their own conveyance! No officers on the scene at the time were reported to survive the attack.
"Mutant Suppression" Theory Hard to Knock Down

What's more shocking, however, is the level of mutants who wield abilities far too great for themselves to control, abilities that are very dangerous not only to themselves, but to everyone around them. Enter Shinji Mori. A Japanese mutant geneticist who had made her home in New York City, she was a child prodigy with a penchant for microscopic sciences, entering into the college circuit at the remarkable age of 12. As a teenager, she developed many highly plausible theories on the metahuman issue, including metahuman genetics prediction. However, it's her latest theory that has the science world abuzz. "The theory is essentially the means to create a 'mutant suppression," she said at a recent unnamed charity event. "Using nothing more than, say, an injection or a veritable 'genetic cocktail,' someone displaying natural 'mutant evolution' could manage to hide their abilities, albeit briefly, say, for a period of several hours to a full day." Ms. Mori warned that this was not meant to be a means of eradication, however. "The last thing we need in human/mutant affairs is someone presenting a 'cure-all' drug that's meant to fix this supposed mutant 'problem.' It's merely a means to aide mutants whose abilities are too intense to contain, or to hide any physical traits that society may deem 'unnatural.' It may allow those to enter a normal life, one day at a time, while still granting them the chance to train themselves to wield the abilities safely and harmlessly." She also makes mention that it is still just a theory, though great strides have been made to confirm or deny its plausibility. "I've gotten quite a few snide remarks from some of my colleagues," she jokes. "Many have been quite helpful, assisting me in crafting the theory into something far more substantial. We could wind up with a working prototype as soon as the end of this year, though no one here's making any solid promises." Many have sought to eradicate mutant abilities entirely, negating the need for human/mutant relations. Shinji Mori, however, may have brought one of the bigger strides for pacifism in the issue that is largely unseen in today's modern world. Ms. Mori, as well as her colleagues, hope to have an update on the theory within the following months, and you can be sure that we'll be there with the full story. -Kat Farrell
