Galen Marek

Abusive Parents: He was raised by Darth Vader, and his childhood consisted almost entirely of Sith training. This is pretty much a given.

Awesomeness by Analysis: He was given no formal lightsaber training by Vader. The reason why he's a Master Swordsman was that he observed and reverse-engineered Vader and PROXY's moves... while struggling to survive them during his Training from Hell.

Bad Powers, Good People: Uses his experience and Sith abilities to routinely save his comrades and fight on their behalf.

Broken Hero: Has an alarming tendency to rush into situations to save others at the cost of his own health. This includes taking a lightning bolt and the majority of an airship crash. While not as suicidal as it was before, he still puts his friends above himself.

Made of Iron: Has survived blows and attacks that would have killed anyone else, up to and including an artillery barrage.

Deadpan Snarker: So, so much.

*Stalker : "I'm running a dating service. "Stalkers Most Wanted."- He paused...And considered. "...We're still working on the name."

*Stalker : "I have anger issues, you turn into a giant....Thing. It happens. Caff anyone?" He added over his shoulder from the counter.

*Stalker : "Revan is a title? Interesting." He remarked. "Can I call you "Larry?" You look like a Larry."

*Dante : "It is." He pulled his face out of the dirt to give Stalker a flat look, before rolling to his feet and letting his hand rest easy on the hilt of the blade on his back. "The hell are you supposed to be, leather samurai cowboy... thing."

*Stalker : "It came with the hat."

Training from Hell: Being raised by Darth Vader, or any Sith, is not good for your childhood.

As a child, Vader once injected him with a paralyzing drug and dumped him into a wilderness, all to force him to quickly figure out how to do the Jedi Mind Trick to get the predators to leave him alone.

That time Vader kept him shackled in a dark pit with no food or water for 13 days.

Obfuscating Stupidity: Is a large part of how he chooses to deal with his memories after being talked out of his Death Wish from Quinn and Yang. By acting as opposite and as friendly as possible, it distances him from the Dark Lord he used to be. Also a good way to put enemies off guard.

Took a Level in Kindness: Has been referred OOC as "The Heart", due to his gentlemanly nature and politeness to the majority of the Survivors. To the point that when he gets hit by a ball on purpose by asshole guardsmen, X-23 and Jenny Sparks retaliate by stabbing and electrocution respectively on his behalf.

Clueless Chick Magnet: Joked about OOC for most of his close IC relationships being with the ladies of the group and lampshaded by Revan IC.

Knight in Shining Armor: Figuratively speaking. As of recent events, has finally crafted armor to match his new ideas. Early on, Quinn Starsong addresses him as "Ser Stalker" because his attitude matches her experience of them.

Super-Powered Evil Side: For all his nice-guy routine and his genuine friendliness, woe betide the one who makes him truly angry in battle. The man is a Sith Lord for a reason.

May-December Romance: Averted and subverted currently. Has recently discovered he's heavily attracted to Laura Kinney and the concept horrifies and squicks him out, as he previously regarded her as more a sister figure in addition to being older than her. Agonizes over it and does his best to hide any trace of it. Has currently come to terms with it, and its now played straight.

Belligerent Sexual Tension: Between him and Laura Kinney to the point everyone could see it. Save for them.

More to follow.

The Revanchist

The Atoner: Jedi to Sith to Jedi to both.

Badass: "Revan was power."

The Charmer: "Highly charismatic, it was inevitable many would flock to his cause."

Cool Mask: Until recently.

Deadpan Snarker: Of course.

Fallen Hero: Like so many others.

Gadgeteer Genius: Natural affinity for droids and machines.

Heel Face Revolving Door: Understatement.

He Who Fights Monsters: "Revan's fall to the dark side actually began with compassion...the compassion to enter the Mandalorian War. As the war went on however, the idealistic Revan grew to despise weakness like the Mandalorians. They had changed him." At least until the Jedi changed him back.

Heterosexual Life Partners: With Malak and Carth.

Mysterious Past: No one, except maybe Kreia, knows Revan's past before joining the Jedi.

Omniglot: Knows dozens of languages, can rip them out of people's heads.

One Man Army: In his past.

Screw the rules, I'm doing what's right: The Mandalorian Wars.

Troll: Oh yes.

Tragic Bromance: With Malak.

Well Intentioned Extremist: Sums him up pretty well.

Yin Yang Bomb: Channels both the light and the dark sides of the Force.

Benjamin Kirby Tennyson:

Action Hero: Fits this to a T.

A Minor Kidtroduction: This occurs in the Heroes United crossover with Generator Rex.

All Is Well That Ends Well: Applies to most people if not everyone, really.

All Part OF The Job: He is a Superhero after all.

Berserk Button When innocents are endangered as a result of Ben's failures, he tends to get pissed and rectifies the situation through sheer, overwhelming rapeage.

Bigger Is Better In Bed: Known as Ben Ten Inch

Big Guy: Various Powerhouse Aliens

Brilliant, But Lazy: Prime example: He slacks in school yet passes with a B average - his Cousin Gwen confirms this fact.

Crazy Enough To Work: Doesn't always succeed but efforts have tried, such as demolishing a building on the big bad and throwing teammates to catch a simple pop fly baseball.

Cultural Cross-Reference: Way Big is heavily reminiscent of Ultraman as is Rath of Hulk Hogan. An M41A Pulse Rifle is seen in an episode of Ben Ten: Alien Force. Etc.

Dynamic Character: Grows throughout the series, expect growth throughout RP

Experienced Protagonist: Ongoing series for a while has led to Ben becoming an experienced superhero, famed throughout several galaxy.

Gentle Giant: Way Big; To'kustars are by nature Gentle Giants. Also fits Our Giants Are Bigger.

Giant Foot Of Stomping: Occurs in Chicago by virtue of Way Big on a mini-boss

Good Flaws, Bad Flaws: Has on occasion let fame get to his heads. Is actively trying to rectify via maturity.

Good is Not Dumb: Fits the trope

Hope Springs Eternal: Ben is a confirmed eternal optimist.

Living Legend: Renown throughout the cosmos aside planet Earth.

Multi-Armed and Dangerous: Four Arms, 'nuff said.

Non-Human Sidekick: Kevin (Osmosian) and Rook (Omniverse Sidekick) - currently? Squirtle.

Obfuscating Stupidity: He's been shown to act dumb or unintelligent or silly but in actuality is cunning and resourceful.

Rounded Character: Well rounded

Stronger With Age: The older Ben gets, the older his aliens mature relevant to his age - basic logic.

The Hero: Despite already having The Big Guy by virtue of his aliens, Ben fits The Hero aptly.

Scorpion;Hanzo Hasashi
Animal Motifs: Scorpions, duh.
Everything's Better with Penguins: To make up for the Scorpion Animality already being taken by Sheeva (supposedly, the dev team did not have Ultimate in mind when making MK3), Scorpion's Animality form Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is a penguin which lays explosive eggs.

Anti-Hero /Anti-Villain (Type I):While he is assisting the TARDIS Crew for now, it's all to just get allies for when he leaves to extract revenge on Quan Chi.

Author Avatar; He's my favorite fictional character and I'm the one who RPs him.

Berserk Button:Telling him his revenge against Quan Chi is pointless and that he should give it up. Harming the younger Sub-Zero. Quan Chi. Anyone who gets in his way. Squirtle(At least in Penguin form)

Me's a crowd:Can summon undead members of his clan.

Kick the Dog: Challenge #20 in 9 has Scorpion beat up Mileena, because she made a teddy bear for him and HE HATES TEDDIES!

Determinator;Being slammed through walls/lasers/explosions/rest won't stop Scorpion. Until the bad guy is dead, anyway.

Laura Kinney

Absurdly Sharp Blade: Naturally.

Abusive Parents: Depending on your definition of "parents." Zander Rice was one of the lead scientists involved with her creation and training, and the abuse he subjected Laura to was outright horrific. Sarah Kinney, her biological mother, (surrogate womb and some genetic material) was ordered by the Facility to deny her an emotional connection, so was forced to shun her when Laura reached out to her. To her credit Sarah defied those orders whenever she was able, but this still led to much of her emotional damage. Then there's her handler, Kimura, who abused Laura as badly, if not worse, than Rice. It really says something when as poor of a father as Logan can be (which he even outright admits), he's still one of the better parental figures Laura's had.

Broken Ace: In terms of combat, she was miles ahead of the other New X-Men. In terms of anything else, her life and emotional outlook are terrible.

Arch-Enemy: Kimura, her former handler and the one who dealt her abuse from an early age. And Dalek Kaan.

Awesomeness by Analysis and Sherlock Scan: Whenever Laura walks into a room, her brain immediately calculates the best means of killing everyone inside it.

Bare Your Midriff: Standard combat uniform.

Beneath the Mask: Outwardly, Laura is The Stoic bordering on an outright Emotionless Girl. Underneath her cold facade, however, she's a confused and suicidally depressed jumble of loneliness, heartbreak, and rage. Her detached persona is there entirely because she doesn't know how to handle what she feels, and to protect others from her anger.

Berserk Button: A few, and a literal one in the trigger scent.

Celibate Hero: Hasn't really done anything in a romantic sense since Hellion.

Combat Pragmatist: Comes with being an assassin.

Comfort Food: Played with subtly. Laura has shown a fondness for spicy foods in her own series after being raised in the Facility with no choice but the nutritionist's bland fare for her.

Cold-Blooded Torture: Laura's entire life at the Facility. Training from Hell, her claws surgically removed one by one without anesthesia, punished severely even when she completes missions successfully, constant physical and emotional abuse. Target X reveals that even her conditioning to the trigger scent involved outright torture when Laura is shown being electrocuted and nearly drowned.

Dark and Troubled Past: Hoo boy. Tortured, abused, trained from childhood to be a living weapon, treated as if she weren't even human by those who created her, forced to kill the only two people who showed her kindness and compassion during her training (one of whom was her mother), and gave up her only other family to protect them from Kimura after she finally escaped. And this isn't even getting into her time as a Street Walker. And unlike Logan for most of his history, she remembers every moment.

Distaff Counterpart: Take a guess.

Emotionless Girl: Natch.

Healing Factor: Yup.

Innocence Lost: Laura's origin story is even called this, and shows in brutal detail the cruelty inflicted on her by the Facility to strip away her humanity and turn her into an emotionless killing machine. They ultimately failed, but still managed to inflict quite severe damage that she still struggles to recover from.

Loss of Identity: Her entire childhood was essentially engineered for the purpose of dehumanizing her. It took several years of forced prostitution before she even realized that she had opinions or consciously wanted to express them.

Opposite Sex Clone: Three guesses.

Professional Killer: Duh.

Super Senses: Superior to Wolverine's.

Cameron (second name optional) (I AM BEING LAZY AND DOING MY OWN FOR NOW OKAY)

The Comically Serious - Exemplifies the trope, both in the show and throughout the RP thus far (not always intentionally (:|))

Demoted to Extra - THIS IN OPA'S MISSION, SO MUCH

Implacable Woman - Look at the quote associated with that trope page and eeeyeah.

Creepy Monotone - Intimidation voice. Surprisingly effective. Monotone sometimes in ordinary conversation too but not always.

Red Eyes, Take Warning - Usually unnoticable unless her skin and eyes are destroyed. Her eyes are blue normally to signify Resistance programming, turn red when she has to kill a bitch.

No Sense of Personal Space - Stands too close to people in conversation and stares uncomfortably.

Cloud Cuckoolander - Cameron: Do you like this color on me?
John Connor: What?
Cameron: I'm a bitchwhore!
John Connor: What?
Cameron: I have a new friend.
John Connor: Did she call you a bitch whore?
Cameron: No, she cried.
John Connor: Wai.....What?

The Meribel twins

-Both

Twin telepathy/synchronization- They each take half the wounds the other would take, and are brain connected enough that its literally impossible for one to keep secrets from the other

Fusion dance- Hasn't happened in RP yet, but possible

Abusive parents- initially their fate, but averted when the cult that had orchestrated the birth got destroyed

Red oni, blue oni- With Meri the red and Bel the blue

-Merisel

The Berserker - 'Blessed' by the spirits of the vengeful dead. They're always angry, so her powers only work when /she's/ angry

Determinator - loses the ability to feel fear or pain when raging

Hot blooded - has a tendency to get angry even when the situation doesn't even remotely call for it

Glowing eyes of doom/Glowing Eyelights of Undeath/death glare- Invoked as one of her rage powers, creating a supernatural fear effect in those she makes eye contact with

Voice of legion - when angry

Sore loser - ... maybe. But only because:

Second place is for losers

Lightning bruiser - Goes no slower for all her armor and weapons.

Berserk button - While she may get angry to the point of rage easy, there's a whole different level of fury involved if someone threatens Bel

Book dumb - Because why bother learning when your sister does it all for you

-Belmarniss

Magic knight- an accomplished swordfighter in addition to an accomplished mage, to the point that she can use arcane energies to assist in combat without actually casting spells, something called arcana. this all comes from...

Ancient tradition - the magus school of thought, passed down by the elves for a loooong time now.

Not good with people - has trouble not backing out of a conversation lasting longer than three sentences. That said->

Friend to all living things - Is quite fond of most non-humanoid life. The reason Chesire's the only one to hold a conversation with her so far.

Shrinking violet - up to eleven

Bookworm - Books however are much easier to handle, which is why she's left the library a grand total of zero times since arriving at the point of typing

Sarcastic devotee- of a sort to Meri. She's a bit too fond of correcting her sisters various mental slip ups

For the Y in RWBY

Schmuck Bait - In the Yellow trailer. "Let's kiss and make up, okay?" This was promptly followed by a punch across the room.

Groin Attack - Poor Junior.

Cool Big Sis - What she is to Ruby.

Megaton Punch - Sort of tends to happen

Berserk Button - Don't. Touch. Yang's. Hair. If you do, expect an imminent no holds barred beatdown.

Nobody Touches the Hair - See above.

Bear Hug - Has happened to Ruby in-show, Starkiller and X-23 in-RP. Generally uncomfortable and bone-crushing.

The Big Girl - Pretty much.

Boxing Battler - Fighting style is pretty blatantly kickboxing (or some variant).

Color Coded Characters - Hi, welcome to RWBY

Cute Bruiser - Ain't I just? Also Badass Adorable

Cool Shades - Deal with it

Dangerously Short Skirt - But c'mon let's be honest the shorts totally mitigate

Deadpan Snarker - "Great! The gang's all here! Now we can die TOGETHER!" There are bunch more from RP but going off the show and memory here

Everyone Loves Blondes - Search your feelings, you know it to be true

Attack Backfire - Azula attacked suddenly with flames and lightning. Yang laughed at the flames, dodged the lightning and proceeded to one-shot her. :|

Red Eyes, Take Warning - Oh, yes.

Mental Fusion - With Quinn. Ended in an awesome high five.

Fairytale Motifs - Goldilocks. Only I uppercut bears and tell 'em to get lost

Flaming Hair - Eyep

Fashionable asymmetry - Who needs symmetrical socks anyway?

Tomboy and Girlygirl - Her and Laura. They should have a sitcom. Granted, it's actually a lot more like ultra-tomboy and somewhat-less-of-a-tomboy-but-still-a-tomboy

Weiss Schnee

Abusive Parents: It's implied that Weiss' father was this due to the stress of constantly dealing with the White Fang.

Action Girl: In a different vein than the rest of her team, but true nonetheless

Academic Alpha Bitch: Her main reason for the antagonism towards Yang and the Survivors in general

Badass Princess: Heiress to the Schnee Dust corporation, but still at least as competent as the rest of her team

Combat stilettos: Presumably they interact with her glyphs somehow. Whatever the reason, she fights fine in them

Color coded characters: Duh

Dangerously short skirt: Combat skirt, thank you

Fashionable Asymmetry: per word of god, her sideways ponytail is her way of rebelling against her parents

Flash step: All the time

Fragile speedster: Quick, but the only one to bleed in her trailer

Icy blue eyes

Lady of war: more along the lines of graceful and elegant than the rest of her team

Full contact magic: Through use of Glyphs and dust

Never my fault: Shades of this on occasion, both in show and now in RP

Rich Bitch: Maybe. A bit

Stepping stones in the sky: of a sort, with her glyphs

Southpaw

Surrounded by idiots: Oh yes does she feel this way

Not so above it all: Yarr.

Vitrolic bests buds: With Yang. Not that she'd ever admit that obviously

Nora Valkyrie

Nora Valkyrie

Action Girl/Badass Adorable: And how. Her cheerful disposition extends to some serious enthusiasm for fighting, and is she ever good at it.

Big Eater: Literally slurps up her pancakes. Also hinted at by Pyrrha in episode 14 when she tells Jaune that Ren made pancakes, but thanks to Nora, there was no syrup left.

The Big Girl: Of Team JNPR.

Blood Knight: She is VERY enthusiastic about punting stuff (and other people on occasion) with her rocket-propelled hammer. Not to mention her first suggestion to solving Jaune's bully problem is to break said bully's legs.

Blush Sticker: Looks like she's blushing all the time.

Boisterous Bruiser: Very, very boisterous.

Cheshire Cat Grin: Being a Perpetual Smiler, she also grins during aggressive actions, such as catapulting Jaune with her hammer or threatening to break a bully's legs.

Childhood Friend: To Ren. She winds up ranting on the shipping implications as they get ready for their first full day at Beacon.

Cloudcuckoolander: Comes up with bizarre things like suggesting a sloth call as a secret message. When informed that sloths aren't particularly noisy, she deems it even more appropriate.

Cute and Psycho: While not completely insane, she does give some vibes of this.

Cute Bruiser: With her grenade launcher hammer, Nora is arguably the hardest hitting member of team JNPR despite being so bubbly (and short).

Cute Little Fangs: Only seen when her mouth is open (which is fairly often).

Dangerously-Short Skirt: Made all the more dangerous by how loosely it flaps around.

Disproportionate Retribution: After Cardin Winchester has been seen to childishly torture Jaune Arc, Nora suggests breaking his legs (and she's serious!)

Extreme Omnivore: Glynda gives no indication as to whether Red Sap is even edible and moments later, Nora is heard gulping down an entire jar in 2 seconds.

Genki Girl: How Ruby acts around weapons is how Nora acts all the time. "Boop."

Girly Bruiser: Nora doesn't really inspire the image of her beating monsters to death with a war-hammer/grenade launcher, but her grenades having cute hearts on them does help.

Heart Symbol: Featured a lot in her design. Even the grenades of her Magnhild get 'em.

Midair Bobbing: Nora is very briefly (one second) shown hovering during the class field trip in Episode 13. It has been speculated that this was a glitch, but it's more likely a deliberate gag playing on the cartoon nature of the series.

Motor Mouth: Once she starts talking, she just goes on and on.

Norse Mythology: Fitting Team JNPR's "famous genderbending figures" theme, Nora seems to have been based on the God Thor who once disguised himself as the Goddess Freyja.

Perpetual Smiler: Risk of dying? Launched into the air? Battling in general? No problem. The one moment her smile disappears is when Ren is flung off by the Death Stalker and hits a nearby pillar.

Pink Means Feminine: Her gloves, skirt, socks, and shoe soles are all pink, plus she's associated with pink-themed Lie Ren.

The Pollyanna: Her reaction to hearing she might die during initiation is to grin happily at Ren.

Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: Has this dynamic with Ren; also counts as Enthusiasm Vs Stoicism.

Ship Tease: She's fully aware that she and Ren are extremely close, but in case anyone gets the wrong idea, they're not that close. However, the person she keeps trying to explain the Just Friends situation to... is herself.

Sigil Spam: Her symbol is on the back of her outfit, as well as her comb.

Spin Attack: How she nails the stinger on the Death Stalker's head, with some Recoil Boost from Magnhild.

Assassin Alter

Anti-Hero: Assassin Class, by its name alone isn't exactly the class to find the most shining examples. But since having fallen, that status has been even more so.

Alternate Self: A cursed version of Ala ad-Dinn. Grimm War hero who never managed to make it home.

Awesomeness by Analysis: His "Eye of the Mind" skill compensates for him having the worst Luck rank possible and relatively mediocre physical attributes in comparison to other servants. A mark of his great experience both in his home dimension as well as outside it before cutting a deal with the Throne.

Dark and Troubled Past: Where do we begin? Abandoned by his father, watched his mother turned suicidal and insane as a kid, was used by Jafar, betrayed by his wife and almost killed by her machinates, killed his brother with his own hands, rejected by the only other woman he loved and stuck by her side, protecting and protected by her till it was physically painful for him to stay any longer and he left. And all this BEFORE the world-hopping and subsequent Grail War that eventually made him who he is.

Knight in Sour Armor: Ironically, he could still technically be called a Knight. Though any knight who saw him would be appalled by his manipulative nature, cynicism and Shoot the Dog attitude.

Mental World: The Reality Marble, Cave of Wonders is a mental representation of his soul and a potent weapon containing every trap he ever overcame to use against enemies, as well as guarding the last vestige of good in his soul.

Tragic Hero: One of the most genuine nicest characters in the Grimm Wars verse. Reduced to this.

Lawful Evil: His current alignment. He's not a psycho, but nor is he the kind to shy from techniques and plans others would brand as "evil."

Invisibility Cloak: His Presence Concealment skill does exactly what it says, allowing him to go fairly undetected by others.

Supernatural Gold Eyes: A disconcerting sight for many. More so for his victims.

Animal Motif: Ala ad-Dinn's was Eagles. Assassin Alter, his fallen self would be snakes. Cobra's, to be precise.

Born Unlucky: Luck stat E, the worst possible. It shows in-lore too, considering all the messes he ends up in.

Beserk Button: Take a wild guess, Grimm War veterans.

Agent York

Badass: Let me put it this way. In their 3 on 1 match, he actually gets the jump on Tex, of all people. Of course, this wasn't exactly normal circumstances, but props to him.

Badass Driver

Handicapped Badass: Courtesy of being a bit too close to a grenade explosion. It damages one of his eyes, but he still remains very competent. Competent enough to save Tex's life after her gun jams.

Bad Liar: When he tries to bluff Tex unconvincingly, she tells him he's never been good at lying.

Butt Monkey: Along with Wash, he's often the target of Amusing Injuries.

Deadpan Snarker:
York: Maine! Look, I'm gonna move left, you g- (Maine rushes out and is promptly shot with a freezing paint round) ... or you just run out and do whatever you want and then get killed. Ready? Break. Good job everybody.

Expy: Of Han Solo, even getting a few Shout-Out lines.

Did Not Get the Girl: With Carolina. She didn't believe him about Project Freelancer.

Eye Scream: Took a grenade to the face when Maine tried to use it to kill Tex in Season 9, Episode 10. From then on, his left eye is heavily implied to be at least partially blind, white with a scar near it, due to the protective paint from the spar not having covered that much of his head before the detonation.

Good Scars, Evil Scars: He gets a nice scar across his left eye and it apparently made him lose vision partially in one of his eyes.

Healing Factor: His armor ability.

Heroes Want Redheads: Carolina. Unfortunately, various conflicts got in the way.

Image Song: "Come On Carolina"

Informed Ability: Zig Zagged Trope. York is nominally the team's infiltration expert, but we seem to see him having difficulty with, complaining heavily about, or outright failing to crack open the locks he comes across.

The Lancer: To Carolina. He plays Number 2 to her, seems to be the only one she sees as a friend, and serves as the laid-back snarker to her straight-laced 'get the job done' attitude. Monty has said that York was written to be the Han Solo of the Freelancers, and it shows.

Master of Unlocking: He's supposed to be this, and is described by Wash as being "an old locksmith". It's an Informed Ability to just about everyone else, and his frequent failures at lockpicking are Played for Laughs.◦ In the prequel segments of Seasons 9 and 10, his icon on the ranking board is, appropriately enough, a lock.

Nice Guy: In addition to being a bad liar, compared to most of the other Freelancers we've seen he's genuinely quite friendly and laid-back, tries to encourage teamwork in a group that's usually made of lone wolves, and seems to have a sense of fair play/decency in a group that's often opportunistic. He also seems be the one of the few who had an actual healthy partner/friendship with his AI. He's the snarkiest third of the Nice Guy trio he, Wash, and North seem to have going, though his snark is generally meant to be good-natured. He also seems to have been the only Freelancer who didn't Take a Level in Jerkass after Project Freelancer broke up.

No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: He tries to switch sides during a training exercise when his partners Wyoming and Maine start using lethal force. He gets berated by Tex for "abandoning his team" in return and got in the blast range of a frag grenade thrown by Maine, potentially causing him to go blind in one eye.

Only Sane Man: Amongst the rest of the Freelancers, he seems to function as this along with North.

Ship Tease: Episodes 11 and 12 of Season 10 are pretty much just nothing but two episodes of Ship Tease with Carolina.

Ship Sinking: In Episode 19.

Tall, Dark and Snarky: Though a Nice Guy nonetheless.

Khan Noonien Singh

The Ace: As Harrison himself claims, he is simply "better" at everything. Justified, as he is genetically designed to be so.

Arch-Enemy: For Kirk, much like Nero for Spock in the last film.

Badass: Being a bio-engineered super-human, he's a Nigh Invulnerable One-Man Army Evil Brit in a Badass Longcoat.

Badass Baritone: Delivers Badass Boasts in a deep, bass voice.

Badass Boast: Boasts about his superhuman abilities.
Harrison: I am better.
Kirk: At what?
Harrison: Everything.

Badass Longcoat: Sports a black trenchcoat with a hood. He even steals one off a chair towards the end of the film to replace it.

Benevolent Boss: Zig-zagged between this and Bad Boss. While he does seem to truly care for his crew, he was also a ruthless tyrant and war criminal 300 years prior.
Harrison: My crew is my family, Kirk. Is there anything you would not do for your family?

Berserk Button: Threatening his crew or implying that they're dead is a seriously bad idea. Admiral Marcus found that one out the hard way.

Big "NO!": When he thinks that his crew has been killed after the torpedoes explode on his ship.

Bio-Augmentation: Genetically engineered for superhuman strength, endurance and intelligence.

The Chessmaster: Most of the events of Into Darkness are the result of Harrison's planning and manipulations.

Chewing the Scenery: While there is some mugging during "annoyed\angry exposition", when he gets furious, Evil Is Hammy gets into full force.
You should have let me SLEEP!

Commanding Coolness: Harrison's falsified rank in Starfleet was Commander.

Cool Starship: The USS Vengeance, a jet black Federation dreadnought that Harrison helped design and later steals after killing Admiral Marcus.

Dark Is Evil: Dresses exclusively in black clothing. Benedict Cumberbatch also dyed his hair black for this film again. Also, the Vengeance, a pitch-black monster of a warship, was his design, and he takes command of it near the climax of the film.

Deadpan Snarker: After Kirk's utterly ineffective beatdown on Kronos, Harrison contemptuously repeats Uhura's invocation of Kirk's rank.
Harrison: Captain.
◦ During his conversation with Spock after Harrison hijacks control of the Vengeance.
Spock: You betrayed us.
Harrison: Oh, you are smart, Mr. Spock.

Death Seeker: When he thinks his crew is dead, Khan has shades of this when he attempts to ram The Vengeance into Starfleet Headquarters.
Harrison: SET DESTINATION: STARFLEET HEADQUARTERS!
Vengeance's computer system: Engines compromised. Cannot guarantee destination. Confirm order.
Harrison: Confirm.

Do Not Taunt Cthulhu: As he notes, Starfleet really should have kept him asleep.

The Dragon: Marcus forced him to help design the USS Vengeance for Starfleet.◦ Dragon with an Agenda: Khan was formulating plots to smuggle his crew to safety at the same time.

Dragon Ascendant: Becomes the main threat after killing Marcus and commandeering the Vengeance.

The Dreaded: Spock Prime's encounters with Harrison/Khan's prime universe counterpart are enough to convince him to give Spock information about him, despite his previous pledge to let Spock walk his own path.

Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette: He has dark hair, retains his actor's pale complexion and serves as a contrast to Kirk and Admiral Marcus.

Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Wants to save his former crew who were on board the SS Botany Bay.
Harrison: Is there anything you would not do for your family?

Evil Brit: Retains the accent of his actor, the British Benedict Cumberbatch.

Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: His terrorist attacks are motivated by his suspicions that Starfleet has already killed his crew. Later, after the torpedo incident, he again assumes that his enemies have killed off his crew and decides to make the Vengeance's name very literal. One gets the impression that Khan just can't wrap his head around other people not being as murderous and willing to kill for convenience as him.

Evil Counterpart: While he's Kirk's traditional Arch-Enemy, he comes off as an evil Spock in Into Darkness. He's introduced in a subordinate command position despite being smarter and stronger than his nominal superior, has a unique biology that makes him both human and more than human, is uniformly polite even while moving to kill you and is striving to resurrect his "race." At the end of the movie, the differences between the two start disappearing even more, with a pissed-off Spock going on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge on the guy who codified the trope in Trek, and the two even exchanging signature attack moves in a fist fight where they're both angry, snarling savages.◦ While Harrison/Khan displays similar mannerisms to that of Spock in his initial appearance, the differences in their character increasingly become apparent following The Reveal. Khan actually goes so far as to distinguish himself from Spock by pointing out that he indulges and takes pride in his savagery while Spock suppresses such emotions.
Harrison: Intellect alone is useless in a fight, Mr. Spock. You, you can't even break a rule. How could you be expected to break bone?

Evil Sounds Deep: Has a deep, bass voice.

Evil Overlord: Ruled over a quarter of Earth centuries ago.

Fantastic Racism: Finds being at the beck and call of the genetically "inferior" humiliating.

Fake Nationality: He's supposed to be North Indian, but is played by a Caucasian Brit.

A Father to His Men: He genuinely cares about his crew and will do anything to protect them.

Faux Affably Evil: Though Harrison genuinely cares for his crew, the politeness he demonstrates towards Kirk and others is relatively fake.

Genetic Engineering is the New Nuke: Harrison is a One-Man Army created through genetic manipulation. It turns out to be the first hint of his true identity.

Genius Bruiser: He's incredibly intelligent (within a year, he learned enough about 23rd century technology to design advanced weaponry, as well as the nigh-unstoppable USS Vengeance) and extremely strong (enough so to crush a man's skull with his bare hands.

Hannibal Lecture: Delivers several speeches while captured over the heroes' shortcomings.

Healing Factor: Heavily implied but not seen. His blood at least has healing properties and is capable of healing terminally ill people and even reviving the recently deceased.

Heel Face Brainwashing: The tie-in comics show that after they found the Botany Bay, Section 31 gave Khan extensive plastic surgery, a memory wipe, and a fake life history in an attempt to turn him into John Harrison, Hero of the Federation. After he finds out what was done to him, he's understandably pissed.

Hero Killer: This guy has killed a whole bunch of Starfleet officers, including Pike.

Human Popsicle: Was cryogenically frozen for about 250 years. He ends the film this way, too.

Icy Blue Eyes: Which serves to highlight his cold, calculating personality.

Implacable Man: Over the course of the film, Harrison withstands a (completely ineffective) beating from Kirk, stunning shots from a phaser, an explosion that cripples the Vengeance and the Vengeance crashing into San Francisco, all of which barely slows him down. Taken Up to Eleven during his fight with Spock, where he forces his way through a Vulcan nerve pinch and takes roughly a dozen stun shots from Uhura's phaser without going down. Ultimately, it takes Spock beating him nearly to death to subdue Khan.

In a Single Bound: The first time we see him, he jumps an enormous distance into battle and lands perfectly.

I Shall Taunt You: He loves doing this to his opponents.◦ Taunts Kirk as he destroys the Enterprise.
Harrison: No ship should go down without her captain.

◦ Taunts Admiral Marcus as he crushes his skull.
Harrison: YOU SHOULD HAVE LET ME SLEEP.

◦ Taunts Kirk while securely imprisoned.
Harrison: Captain, are you going to punch me again, over and over and over, until your arm weakens? Clearly you want to.

Karmic Death: Marcus was planning one of these for Harrison when you take into account that he was to be killed by the torpedoes he designed, which also contained his crew. Luckily, Kirk didn't go through with that plan and opted to arrest him. Even better, Harrison surrenders himself the moment he finds out about the number of the torpedoes.

Kick the Dog: Right before he kills Admiral Marcus, he stomps on Carol's leg.

Kick the Son of a Bitch: Murders Carol's father, the equally evil Admiral Marcus.

Knight of Cerebus: If you thought Nero was nasty, he pales compared to this guy.

Kubrick Stare: Harrison occasionally tilts his head down and to the right and then angrily stares up to look more threatening.

Lightning Bruiser: The thing that stands out most about his fighting style is just how damn fast he is.

Love Makes You Evil: Played with. He was certainly evil before, but his actions in Into Darkness are driven almost entirely by his love for his crew.

Made of Iron: Phaser blasts and pummels are like raindrops to him.

Manipulative Bastard: He cures Thomas Harewood's comatose daughter to manipulate him into suicide-bombing a Starfleet records office. This in turn causes most of the Starfleet officers to gather in one place, where he promptly tries killing most of them.

Manly Tears: When he talks about his crew during his capture on-board the Enterprise, tears are seen streaming down his face while he looks away from Kirk and Spock the entire time.

Meaningful Re Name: The Villain Episode tie-in comics reveal that his birth name was Noonien Singh; he named himself Khan after completing his conquest of the Middle East and Central Asia.

Moral Myopia: Genuinely cares for his former crew and is distraught and furious when he thinks they've been harmed, but he thinks little of trying to kill the whole crew of the Enterprise, even after they risked their lives to bring him in alive against orders, and his other actions make it clear that he barely considers the rest of the genetically inferior population to even be people. In fact, Spock mentions that Khan was accused of practicing eugenics in Earth's past.

More Dakka: His attack on the meeting at Starfleet Headquarters basically consists of him shooting the crap out of his target. He doesn't exactly skimp on bullets when it comes to fighting the Klingons, either.

Nigh Invulnerable:◦ Takes a huge pounding over the course of the movie, and only ever shows a few scratches.
◦ Faked being stunned by a phaser shot at point blank range.

No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: He delivers a pretty vicious one to Spock during the finale of Into Darkness. Once Uhura arrives and Spock manages to recover, Khan finds himself on the receiving end.

No Sell: Takes a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown from Kirk, and only registers some mild annoyance. He also manages to shrug off the Vulcan nerve pinch, albeit with some pain, but considering most beings crumple after being subjected to it...

Not So Different: As he points out to Kirk, both of them would do anything to protect their respective crews.

Older than They Look/ Really 700 Years Old: The guy's been in cryo for 300 years.

One-Man Army: Takes out an entire squad of Klingon commandos and several of their gunships by himself, wielding an assault rifle and a beam cannon.

OOC Is Serious Business: Inverted, the only scene in which he is not menacing is pure comedy, with him giving Kirk a shocked look at Kirk's casual reply to their imminent space jump.

Papa Wolf: Don't threaten his crew, or make him think they're dead. He's liable to break your leg or crush your skull.

The Rival: While he shares several traits with Spock, he and Kirk's relationship has a somewhat competitive edge to it. What did you expect? It's Kirk vs. Khan the remake. They also have a pretty clear understanding of each other, and both are Genre Savvy enough to prepare for their inevitable betrayal during an Enemy Mine. And without his revenge hard on from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Khan proves the victor, because he is "better."

Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Is out to take revenge on the entire Federation for what he believed was the murder of his beloved crew.

Rogue Agent: Harrison was supposedly Starfleet's best agent before a perceived betrayal by his superiors sent him on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge.

Sealed Evil in a Can: A former Evil Overlord accused of war crimes, cryogenically frozen for centuries in a derelict ship... until Starfleet Intelligence found him.

Shower Scene Of Evil: Averted in the film itself, as a shower scene was shot, but cut out.

Shrouded in Myth: His reputation as Starfleet's top agent precedes him. In his past life, he was also an infamous superhuman tyrant.

Smug Super: Harrison is well aware of his superhuman abilities.

The Social Darwinist: Implied. Spock says that he intends to destroy those he deems inferior. Khan doesn't confirm it, but he doesn't deny, either.

The Spock: To Admiral Marcus's Kirk. Cold, calculating and brilliant.

The Spook: He worked for Section 31 before the film started.

The Stoic: He's usually very calm and calculating.◦ Not So Stoic: At three points of Into Darkness: he sheds a tear as he reveals his story to Kirk and Spock, dissolves into sheer rage while beating Kirk and killing Admiral Marcus, and loses it completely during his Villainous Breakdown.

Superhuman Transfusion: Being injected with Harrison's bio-augmented blood temporarily grants others his Healing Factor.

Transhuman: Harrison has gained superhuman abilities thanks to a little genetic engineering, including a decent Healing Factor, Super Intelligence, Super Strength and Super Toughness.

Übermensch/Well-Intentioned Extremist: Believes he's ultimately doing what's best for humanity, regardless of what they think.

The Unfettered: Khan would do anything for his crew, and after believing them dead, would do anything to avenge them.

Villain Episode: Like Nero, he stars in a comic book mini-series exploring his background. The Race Lift issue is brought up on the very first page, with Kirk pointing out at his trial that "Harrison" looks nothing like the very Indian Khan.

Villainous Breakdown: After believing that his crew had been killed, Khan seems to decide "screw it all" and sets the fatally damaged Vengeance on a collision course with San Francisco.◦ The breakdown continues during his fight with Spock. Any emotional control he'd had before is gone, and he brutally pummels Spock in sheer, undiluted rage.

Wicked Cultured: Harrison is pretty well spoken for a madman and even paraphrases Moby-Dick (a book that Khan loved in the Prime timeline) at one point when he beams Kirk, Carol and Scotty off of the Vengeance and back on to the Enterprise.
Harrison: No ship should go down without her captain.

Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds: He may be a bit of an asshole, as well as a ruthless killing machine, not to mention an Evil Overlord at one point, but he's been frozen for 250 years, then turned into a killing machine by the Federation, then tried saving his crew only for Admiral Marcus to take them away from him once again. It's a bit hard not to feel sorry for him.

Would Hit a Girl: Breaks one of Carol Marcus' legs.

Your Head A Splode: He can do this with his bare hands. Just ask Admiral Marcus.

Caboose

Badass: It's not often shown, but Caboose is extremely adept in combat when he's angry enough.

Badass Baritone: When it happens.

Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Despite his many mental quirks, Caboose has been shown to possess superhuman strength and, when sufficiently angry, was able to single-handedly wipe out both the Red and Blue Battle Creek Zealots. He's also easily the best shot on the Blue Team. It just happens that he's usually shooting at the Blue Team.

Cloud Cuckoolander: Far from being just plain stupid, Caboose is almost completely divorced from reality and utters many bizarre yet occasionally insightful non-sequiturs.

Charles Atlas Super Power: He doesn't have any known enhancements, especially not to the level of Texas, but he's often stated as being very strong. The Blues say it's "God's way of compensating" for his low intelligence. He has actually proven to be stronger then her at a number of occasions, she had to ask him for help moving something, and don't forget the fight scene at the end of season 10.

Determinator: See Undying Loyalty below.

The Ditz: Easily the dumbest member of the cast. And the fans love him for that.
- Dumbass Has a Point: Occasionally has a good idea.
- Genius Ditz: These moments have become more frequent in Season 9 as Caboose is reverted to his personality pre-Flanderization. It should be pointed out that he was more productive than any member of either team when he was working by himself in Valhalla. Sure, there was a fire, but he was still getting stuff done. Especially considering he managed to revive Church, by himself, by reprogramming the Epsilon unit and feeding it memories during this time.

Dumb Muscle

Flanderization: He killed Church twice, once while in a malfunctioning tank, the other while Church was possessing the enemy commander (and a third time with the tank again in two non-canon endings to The Blood Gulch Chronicles). And yet in later series, being called his ally is the fastest way to get him to shoot you. Command even has a keyboard shortcut for reporting his teamkills, Ctrl+F+U.

Forgot Flanders Could Do That: His "being mean" from Season 3 would've been a rather useful skill to repeat, but it took until Season 10 for someone to try and get him angry, and he says that he forgot how to do that. With a little help from Church, he remembers.

Hipster: Worshipped Church before it was cool.

Kid with the Leash: Becomes this in Season 11 when he manages to find a MANTIS and convince it to be his friend.

Lethal Klutz: He has a history of team-killing people he tries to help. He apparently caused so much mayhem on Rat's Nest that the Blue Team there didn't just keep him in the brig, they kept him tied up in the brig just to be absolutely sure.

Medium Awareness: According to his voice actor, Joel, he's the only person in the series who's aware he is in a video game. With this in mind, some of his actions at least make some sense.

Mr. Fixit: Caboose seems to have a knack for getting along with machines (given his relationships with Sheila, Andy, Delta, and even to a degree Church and Tex), and has the technical skills to transfer Epsilon into a Monitor body, extract Tex from Epsilon and implant her into a robot body, and extract Epsilon from the failing memory device. In Season 11 he manages to repair and befriend a MANTIS combat mech. Noticeably his skills only seem to apply to A.I., as when he tries to work on regular machinery they tend to catch fire.

Never My Fault: His usual response when he makes a mistake (which, as we've established, is often) is to try and avoid blame.

Rookie Blue Ranger/Ensign Newbie: Made leader of Blue Team thaks to Freckles. It may not be official, but nobody is in the mood to argue with a Mantis assault robot.

Saying Sound Effects Out Loud: In Season 10 Episode 12, while sneaking up behind Wash. It makes him something of a Highly-Visible Ninja. Caboose: Sneaking. Sneaking. Sneaking. Sneaking.

Shipper on Deck: As of Episode 18 of Season 10, for Washington and Carolina.

Shout-Out: One of two characters (the other being Donut) named after one of the randomly generated names assigned to temporary multiplayer profiles in Halo: Combat Evolved.

Talkative Loon: Becomes more prevalent in later seasons. Has shades of Harsher in Hindsight when you realise that O'Malley's possession of and forced ejection from his mind probably caused irreparable damage.

Team Killer: And how. See Flanderization.

Took a Level in Dumbass: Was originally written as merely somewhat foolish early in Season 1, but quickly became outright insane by Season 2 and 3. This has been attributed to Sheila's initial destruction, and later O'Malley's forced ejection from his mind.

Undying Loyalty: For all his teamkilling tendencies (that were nobody's fault!), he's also twice gone to the ends of the Earth to resurrect/rescue Church.

Unstoppable Rage: Very rarely displayed, to the point Season 10 reveals he had forgotten how to get angry. But when he does, he's pretty much The Juggernaut.

Codename Jack. Samurai, future savior of his world, back from the past

Badass Long Robe - Don't diss the kinomo

Badasss Normal - He constantly keeps up with jedi, armored soldiers and wielders of mechanical weapons with ease

Beware the Silent Ones - He may not look like much, but his raw skill is superior to that of much of the cast. He just doesn't have much say in them.

The Comically Serious - Sometimes, he just can't help himself

Fish Out of Temporal Water - Even before he was sent out to multiple worlds.

Katanas Are Just Better - Especially with unholy types. Not even the dread lightsaber can match his katana when it comes to evil entities.

Limited Wardrobe - It's not his fault he only brought one cloth with him.

Nice Guy - In general compared to most other personalities

No Name Given - 'Jack' was given to him in the future

The Quiet One - Probably the most quiet in the series next to X-23

The Stoic - Most of the time...

All Chinese People Know Kung-Fu: While China does not exist in this setting, he dresses and fights like someone out of an old kung fu movie.

Badass: Blows off the head of a giant snake... with his palms.

Bare-Handed Blade Block: Blocks a biting snake's fangs using his Aura.

Blade Brake: Able to do so with his Guns Akimbo, as demonstrated by his landing technique in Episode 5 — hooking his blade to a tree trunk and spiraling his way down.

Childhood Friend: Of Nora. Probably how he's able to so deftly ignore her Genki Girl rantings.

Cloudcuckoolander's Minder: To Nora.

Deadpan Snarker:
The first words out of his mouth in response to Nora's Genki Girl Motor Mouth is that sloths don't make much noise, when she suggests they use a sloth call to find each other.

Episode 6: "I still don't think that's what a sloth sounds like."

Descended Creator: Voiced by Monty Oum himself.

Eyed Screen: Before the giant snake attacks him.

Fairytale Motifs/Gender Flip: Word of God has not named his inspiration but said it was someone who was disguised as the opposite gender. Which makes the most likely candidate Mulan.

Fragile Speedster/Glass Cannon: Despite his speed, accuracy, and skill to blow a giant snake's head off with a palm strike, he seems to have the worst defenses and weakest constitution on JNPR.

Guns Are Worthless: He has thus far been shown more effective and destructive without his weapons than with them. He used their blades as a brake, and wounded the Death Stalker with them, but on the other hand he is able to blow the head off a giant snake with his bare hands, thanks to his aura.

Hammerspace: His sleeves are evidently tight and yet he can fit his guns inside it without trouble.

Meaningful Name:
Ren is Japanese for "lotus", and he wears a lotus emblem.
Lie Ren is also the mandarin pronunciation for "Hunter", and he's in a school to become a Huntsman.

Noodle Incident: We see how he takes out the black snake head, but not how he defeats its other white head.

Not a Morning Person: Is sluggish and groans when Nora has to wake him up. Word of God says that there was nothing behind it, but then they deem it fitting since Nora "eats" most of his energy every day.

Nothing Up My Sleeve: Hides his guns in his sleeves.

Perpetual Frowner: Less pronounced than most examples, but he often appears to be tired and frowning. It probably has to do with being around Nora the whole time.

Pretty Boy: To start with, he has very pretty eyes and his face can appear feminine at some points.

The Quiet One: He speaks rarely and briefly.

Real Men Cook: Pyrrha tells Jaune that Ren made pancakes. The extent of his cooking abilities however has yet to be shown.

Skunk Stripe: A pink one.

The Stoic: Subverted in that his introduction makes it look like he'll be the stoic foil to Nora's energy. As the episodes progress it becomes clear that he's fairly open about his emotions, making it easy to see when he's frustrated, fed up or in a snarky mood. Comparatively, though, he's still cool-headed to some degree.

Supernatural Martial Arts: When he drops his guns, he promptly beats a giant snake to death with its own fangs and a palm strike.

Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: Has this dynamic with Nora.

Weak, but Skilled: His skillful manipulation and usage of Aura mitigates his weak power output. As a matter of fact, when Pyrrha is spouting exposition of what Aura can do, it is interspersed with Ren handling himself against the twin snakes with Aura.

Next up: Kyo Kusanagi

Badass Biker - As shown in Khazan town.

Screw Destiny - Pretty much what he tries to do every day. Both to end the Orochi menance and in stopping Torchwick and Hazama's forces, no matter what fate they put him in.

Beserk Button - Quite a few. Though Yagami and his shortfallings in high school are two big ones.

Cloning Blues - Happened a lot in his world to the point he's wary of the same thing happening in his current predicament.

Fingerless Gloves - Hand crafted to kick ass

Jerk with a Heart of Gold - He may come off as a jerkass at times, but he's extremely protective of his friends. At least his heart is in the right place.

Martial Arts Headband - Sometimes uses it. Though the NESTS sage dampened his fondness of them.

Playing with Fire - The main character for this after Scorpion's exit (though Yang does so to a lesser extent)

Shoryuken

The Slacker - To a tee.

Teeth-Clenched Teamwork - With people he either hates (Yagami) or is annoying at times (with Luffy)

Trademark Favorite Food - Grilled fish

Warrior Poet - The bests one out of the group (at least that's what he thinks)

• Animal Stereotypes: Some trickster archetypes, and loves bananas.

• Badass: Definitely getting there; not only does he kick ass with all three forms of his weapon, he's managed to offload several dozen shotgun blasts in the space of five seconds.

• Banana Peel: Uses it to distract his opponents, by throwing it right in the guy's eye.

• Big Damn Heroes: Joins Blake's fight with Roman the moment it seems Roman might have an advantage over her.

• Dogged Nice Guy: Spends a fair amount of time hanging around with Blake (possibly as much as two days, given how long the rest of RWBY were looking for her) before she even talks to him.

• The Dulcinea Effect: For Blake, it seems (given he did the above after seeing her once).

• Everything's Better with Monkeys: Well, he is a faunus archetyped as one.

• Fairytale Motifs: Of the Journey to the West.

• Fanservice: Monty has stated that only one word was used to describe Sun to the concept artists: ABS.◦ His pose on his valentine.

• The Kleptomaniac: His establishing character moment was showing up as a stowaway (and referencing Die Hard's "common thief" line for good measure). Lampshaded in the following episode when Blake asks him if he ever does anything legitimately.

• Le Parkour: He does this while running away from angry guards.

• Little Bit Beastly: He has a monkey's prehensile tail.

• Lovable Rogue: While he's done something illegal almost every time we've seen him, he's quite a nice guy who helped Blake for nothing in return (it helps he's mischievous rather than malicious).

• Meaningful Name: Named after the Monkey King. In keeping with the theme, his weapon is, among other things, a Telescoping Staff.

• Mischief Making Monkey: See Lovable Rogue.

• Mukokuseki: Despite having the name of a character from a Chinese novel, he is blonde, slightly tanned looking and has green eyes.

• My Species Doth Protest Too Much: Hates the White Fang, seeing them as crazy extremists who make Faunus look bad. Which causes him to briefly choke on his tea when Blake reveals her former allegiance with them. He even sarcastically calls them a cult when Blake questions his Sticky Fingers.

• No Shirt, Long Jacket: Adds to his prankster personality.

• Prehensile Tail: It's strong enough to supplant his weight when he's hanging off a street lamp with it. He also uses it to hold his cup of tea.

• All There in the Manual: His weapon name was only revealed by Monty on Facebook.

• Boom Stick: The ends of the weapon incorporate shotguns that he can reload as fast as he fires them.

• Dual Wielding: When in shotgun-nunchaku form.

• Impossibly Cool Weapon/Swiss-Army Weapon: A Simple Staff that splits into nunchucks that are made of Sawed Off Shotguns.

• Shockwave Stomp: He does this with his staff at one point, knocking away some White Fang Mooks in the process. Whether it's a property of the weapon or Sun's semblance is unclear.

• Spin to Deflect Stuff: Blocks one of Roman's explosions just by spinning his staff.

• Stealth Pun: Monty has stated that he was thinking about making a "Gun-gun", as a joke to lampshade the weapons he had designed already. Chinese martial artists often use a staff known as a Gun. So Sun wields the Gun-Gun.

• Weapon Twirling: He does this a lot with his weapon, whether in staff form or in chucks form; which, incredibly, does not hinder his firing rate in the slightest.

• Shipper on Deck: For the SS Bumbleby
