[Delete] | Please read this entire thread when working on your application as there is a lot of helpful information that will help to ensure that your character is approved and to better help the overall flow/continuity of the chat. Please note that everyone, including the Chat Master, are expected to fill an application out in its entirety to ensure overall fairness.
- All of the sections on the application are mandatory. Any applications with blanks or answers of "secret" or "confidential" will be automatically declined. The Chat Master can be trusted to keep your character secrets a secret. However, do be prepared for the Chat Master to utilize your characters secrets or information to help pull a the story in a certain direction.
- If you wish to fill out the application like your character is being interviewed, you are welcome to answer as they would. However, if they would skip over a question or dance around answering in full, please place the actual answer within parentheses. The application questions are mandatory and must be answered.
- If your character's name includes any symbols or special characters, you MUST apply for the handle without them because the system does not like it when you try and messes it up. However, you can later go into your preferences and change the way the name is displayed to include the symbols. Basic PJJ knowledge.
- On very rare occasion, there may be exceptions allotted to character creation. However, such does require approval from the Chat Master.
- Keep your characters interesting and try to make them different from the mold of your last character. If you choose to make multiple characters, try playing out different personalities. If we see too many of the same character drifting about, you may find that you will be capped on characters until range is proven.
- We do understand that the application looks rather long but, the questions are not that difficult to answer and are used in lieu of a backstory needed to be thrown in. Please keep in mind that the Chat Master is still looking for detail and effort into the applications. Also, we find that it helps to work on one section of the application at a time. This allows for a well thought out character and helps alleviate any strain you may feel on the project.
- When placing your character's age, keep in mind that they can range only from 14 to 26 or the equivalent of such for their race. This does not apply for professors.
- When putting together resistances for your characters, please note that they follow the same level system as skills and abilities. Additionally, there needs to be a reason given as to why your character has earned such a resistance. Furthermore, please note that full immunities are only granted for racial traits (listed on the board post for racial traits) or by earning such via a quest offered by the Headmaster.
