Mazzik 5:45pm, December 12, 2004 [Edit] [Delete] Corellia Event*: Some time ago, the planet Corellia was taken from the NR by the invading Ne'Kressis forces. The time has come for the New Republic to take it back. Enter the Corellia event, a massive narrated player driven event. Those of you who have been here for a while remember past events we have done: the Senate event and, namely, Yavin IV. They are nothing short of role-playing at its finest on project JJ. Chaos comes to mind. Dozens of people, dozens of posts at once. Enemies coming and leaving. Plot surprises. It's the closet thing you'll find to an actual fight in an RPG chat room. So, that's what it is, but what will you be doing? That's the greatest thing: during events, you can do whatever you want. Also, it's a great way to get characters spot registered. We'll register your character and, if it survives, you get to keep it. Does it put you over your Force user limit? Did your character find some awesome piece of technology during the event? Oh well. It's our thank you to you, the player, for making these events possible. So, rather than being vague and saying, "You can do whatever you want to do lololol!!!11," am I going to actually give you examples? Yep. Here you go. You can be a... Fighter pilot Ship captain Commando leader Commando member Jedi** Jedi Healer** Medic Holo-News Reporter Forward scout Cook Engineer Speeder pilot Hm. That's really all I can think of in the moment. I'm sure there're more things, though, and if you think of them, I'm sure they'll be okay. As long as, you know, they're reasonable. We don't want any Darth Bane clones running around. * - In an event, whatever permission to kill rule is in effect will be thrown out the window, to simulate the horrors of large-scale battles. Characters will be lost. ** - If you already have a Jedi or a Jedi Healer, don't ask for another one registered. I'll be up for some holo news rps with Eclipse members and perhaps live coverage of some Nekressis proposals. If anyone has seen Starship Troopers when they showed live coverage of their invasion on the Bug planet, then thats the sort of thing wanted.
