With the Shekdai defeated, the few remaining Jedi can only look upon the devastation wrought upon them. The losses were high - perhaps too high.

As the Shekdai continue their retreat toward Wild Space, Trykiriss, the leader of the battered Construct force watches over the chamber contaning the Jedi Souls. The mission not a complete failure after all.

As the word spread of the Jedi´s destruction - the Nekressis Imperium begins to demand answers from its own clans. Frustration spreading - they begin the mass kill countdown to bring the New Republic to its knees - but they face even greater threats ahead. The Ekishzai and another Shekdai war....

Everyone who participated in the event PLEASE post your thoughts and such on the entire event. I think, being the first major event, it worked quite well but I dont know that unless you guys had fun, felt involved etc.

I had trouble monitoring things when people split up from eachother in each group. Made the jungle one far easier to narrate. The Jungle group nearly did all die - they walked straight into the trap which if it wasnt for Raltise they probably would have all died.

Try to give as much input as possible please :) So we can fix and such for events to come.

Man, that was awesome. :) I haven´t had that much fun rping in a long time. I think it worked really well, but a few people seemed to be getting ticked off that their characters were being ignored. :/ Maybe if so many people participate next time it would be more efficient to have two narrators, and split them amongst the groups? Just a suggestion.

An Imperial contingent will be arriving at Yavin, unfortunely the ships could not be dispatched in time to be of any real help, however, medical help will be given.

Yeah, Yavin is pretty much now half a floating ball. *L* I´d post up an overveiw of the events so everyone that wasn´t there could know what happened. but I don´t wanna take that pleasure from V ^_^ However I will be ranting wildly about how cool the RP was to all my buds at work today.

Falcon has a good idea. Maybe have a Narrator for each group...?

Either way, I loved that. I´d like to see mass-scale RPG happen more often...maybe sans all the destruction on the good guy side. ;-)

Overall, though, I was pleased. Props to V for putting it together and running it.

Extra Narrator might be a good idea. The next event: Senate Meeting, wont need it though, since it would be split into groups plus it´ll be more you guys having to discss and rp between yourselves than a narrator. The next few events planned after will be space battles - I was thinking after the group idea worked to split that into capital ship characters and starfighter characters. An extra narrator to help on one of those groups would probably help immensely.

I dont have the time atm to post up a review of what happened at Yavin. My beginning post is the best I can do atm, so Zhen - feel free to post a review on my behalf.

 Heh heh, yay for review

much props to V for putting it all together. The narration was slow, but hell... one guy watching everything sort of does that, but it wasn´t all that bad and actually gave the needed time to coordinate stuff. Heh, and Skywalker died :-P

Justin: Raltise is in Ekishzai who has some repressed memories. He regained some of them due to being in close contact with the Nekressis during the battle. The Ekishzai are a race that the Nekressis tried to exterminate a long time ago. Essentially they´re pure energy beings. Unlike the Nekressis, who use the Khal´ya, they ARE the Khal´ya. (or at least i think that´s what V said.) As an Ekishzai, Raltise can sense the Nekressis through the Khal´ya unlike the Jedi who can´t, he can also use his life-essence to launch blasts of pure white Khal´ya energy which all in all is pretty destructive, he can manipulate Ne´kressis technology since the Nekkies pretty much took most of their tech from the Ekishzai, and lastly through severe concentration he can disrupt the Nekressis´ connection with the Khal´ya. Depending on what he does it to, that has different effects. If he does it to the constructs, they shut down. If he does it to weapons, they stop working. If he uses it on Shekdai, they go crazy and flee.

Pretty much Raltise has a lot of knowledge on the Nekressis and their tech. That´s pretty much where everything is now. During the battle he took out a lot of Shekdai/Constructs and pretty much saved the party in the Jungle from having their heads handed to them (considering we all walked into an ambush :/ ). But since using powers like Khal´ya blasts and severing connections requires Khal´ya energy, it weakens Raltise, and he can´t do it extensively or else he´ll tire out.

Kudos to V. That was Great!! I did not think that the delays were bad at all, and having to THINK about the other ppl in your party made it a lot harder.

Although My Char was s´posed to die, it didnt make it any easier on me, I was still trying to stay alive as long as i could and when my time came I let fate take its course, I stayed for a while and watched the other RP´s and I have to say, Everyone involved was Good and i think we all kept in character which was good as well.

I for one will be intrigued to see what happens in the Senate as another of my chars has already voiced his opinons to high ranking NR officials!!

Thanks For the Nite, Ill see y´all soon

Ok, here´s the shakedown of what happened:
The Nekkie Shekdai land on Yavin IV with an army of constructs. Some stuff happens at landing that I missed and due to the logs of these events not existing I can´t tell you about them. Now, the following are the events of the Temple group, since I wasn´t able to pay attention to Jungle as well (comp kept fudging up).
*Ahem*
The Jedi of the Temple are all within the Hanger Bay, suddenly a blast opens a hole in the hanger bay, and Constructs begin to charge through. The Jedi try to act swiftly to move to safety and to block off any means the Constructs may have of reaching deeper into the Temple. Here the Jedi split into two groups. One group moves upstairs, while the other presses further into the Temple. Upstairs basically weeds through the various constructs that are trying to suck up Jedi souls, while downstairs prepares to hold back the oncoming forces. Suddenly, things go from bad to worse as a horde of constructs and shek(they were shek right?) come charging through a line of Jedi led by Luke Skywalker. The Constructs overwhelm the Jedi and in a blaze of green-stuff Luke Skywalker is no more. As the constructs march into the kitchen, the Jedi in there set off an explosion of fire, sending bits of constructs everywhere. Using a bit more pyro they are able to knock the Constructs back down to just a few. A gruesome battle ensues between the Jedi and the remnants. Soon there is but one Shek remaining, and he soon finds himself unarmed. Suddenly two holes cut through the ceiling and the two Jedi from upstairs fall down to join the fight. Upon clearing the remaining forces in the temple, Masters Rihani and Yun move to figure a way to clear out the Constructs still outside. Using the torpedos from a ship that was not in the hangar, they begind to hurl the torpedos (by use of the force) into the army. Yun and Rihani find themselves in utter shock however, as a Nekkie fighter begins attacking on the Constructs. It´s some all out Nekkie-on-Nekkie lovin. The Jedi figure they´ve got to get the hell outta there! So they begin to load up onto the ship, but a problem remains, the ship has no power to move or navigate. Thus, Rihani, using his Jedi Powers begins to lift and move the ship ala the Force, and opens the hatch for the Jedi to enter. In the final sprint for life, a construct comes from nowhere to delay the Jedi´s escape. Meanwhile the Jedi Temple crumbles and falls before their very eyes as a Nekkie-thing blows it and the valley to Kessel and back. In a last ditch effort, the remaining Jedi on ground are summoned through the force back into the ship and the Temple survivors are lifted off the ground, and to safety just as the ground beneath them is consumed in fire. The Temple survivors are soon sent a hail by another vessel in orbit of Yavin IV. It is a Nekkie starship, and they have them in a tractor beam lock. The Temple survivors soon also realize that the Nekkies have another ship in their grasp, the survivors of the Jungle assault. All seems lost as the Nekkies broadcast their intentions to return the Jedi to the surface to serve as training for their soul thirtsy armies. When out of nowhere a fleet of NR ships drops from hyperspace, sending a full scale attack on the Nekkie ship till it retreats into phase-space. Pulling the Two Jedi survivor ships aboard the NR forces begin giving medical attention to the last surviving Jedi Apprentices, and the two surviving Masters. They prepare for hyperspace, and leave behind the moon of Yavin IV... the former home of the Jedi Knights, now in ruins.

Credit where credit is due, sorry if I didn´t get all the facts in there, I got over-excited in the beginning and realized it was gonna be waaaay too long as I got near the end. So this is a condensed summary, please don´t kill me. And about the length.. what do you expect from a 7 hour long RP? It´s well... long.

Alright, I´ll try to follow up with an overview of the Jungle campaign. :)

Alright, so Guardian and Auron are travelling through the jungle together, and they are happened upon by Kjersti Renn and Gavin. Then Niamh wanders up, Jaret runs in from the forest and an npcish Jedi named Mia Ishara joins in as well. They´re all gathered in a small forest clearing, when Raltise, who had been ´dropped off´ in a tree for safety by Yun, hops down and walks in from the foliage. He joins their group and all eight set off through the jungle. The Jedi sense nothing -- however, Raltise senses a hostile presence -- namely two Shekdai and several constructs. Almost as if on que, streaks of green lightning erupt from the underbrush, and several constructs jump out to attack the party.

The group immediately spreads out, unholstering blasters and whatnot and returning fire. Raltise, in the meantime, darted toward the underbrush where one of the Shekdai was. As it jumped out to attack, it was surprised to find that he wasn´t one of the ´Impure´, and then it was promptly incinerated by a Khal´ya blast fired from Raltise´s palm. He then grabbed the dead Shekdai´s zzhat and ran over to the others, who were busy unloading power cells and hacking away with their lightsabers at the constructs. The second Shekdai jumped out and tried to paralyze Niamh with its zzhat, in preparation for extracting her soul. Yet she dodges, and Guardian shoots the limb with the soul-extracting sphere off. Raltise jumps out of nowhere and fires off a few blasts from the zzhat at the Shekdai. It flees, he redirects the lightning in midair, and the blasts fry it through and through.

The constructs continue raining lightning upon the group, and Mia falls before their onslaught. Guardian´s lightsaber gets disintegrated by the fire, and Auron throws Mia´s saber to him. The two, along with Niamh continue to hack away at the constructs, while Raltise falls into a sort of trance in which he reaches out toward the constructs and attempts to sever their connection to the Khal´ya. As he does so, his form breaks away like an eggshell, revealing a being of pure whit energy. He succeeds at last in tearing the connection, and all the constructs shut down.

The remaining group -- Guardian, Auron, Niamh, Kjersti, Gavin, and Raltise (Mia haven´t fallen and Jaret having rebooted and disappeared, I assume he went off to the temple battle since he showed up on the Nebulon-B later) regroup. They´re mostly in shock at Raltise´s appearance, and he quickly explains that it is possible that he alone may be able to fight the Shekdai/Constructs on an equal level. He senses five Constructs ambling off somewhere, and he suggests they follow. The group comes to an impassable river, and Guardian fells a tree with his lightsaber, which then acts as a bridge. The six sprint across and come to the edge of a clearing surrounding a small temple. The constructs amble across the clearing toward it. Convening briefly, the group decides to attack head-on, with Niamh in the back to heal any wounded. Hoisting a Zhrife which he took from a fallen construct, Raltise heads off first, firing shots off at the constructs situated near the mouth of the temple, while the rest arm themselves with blasters, lightsabers, and the like.

The Zhrife shots take down one or two constructs, but suddenly a legion comprised of several Shekdai and about twenty constructs steps out of the forest surrounding the clearing. The group has been ambushed. Raltise realizes this immediately and prepares a huge effort to sever the connections of all Shekdai, weapons, and Constructs to the Khal´ya. In the meantime, a large, overgrown bug skitters out of the temple -- Trykiriss, leader of the Construct forces. He orders the army to take out the Ekishzai first(this is Raltise) and the rest will follow. The group spreads out, firing shots off at the advancing army as they near firing range, while Raltise crouches in intense concentration in an attempt to sever their connection.

The attempt works, to some extent. All the Shekdai flee screaming into the forest, and all but eight Constructs shut down. However, the remaining eight reach firing range and fire a bolt each at the weakened Ekishzai. Auron tackles Raltise to the ground, the two missing the bolts of green lightning by mere millimeters. As this happens, Kjersti, Gavin and Niamh engage the remaining constructs with lightsabers, which Guardian engages Trykiriss. The two exchange blows, Trykiriss being the faster, until at one point Trykiriss impales Guardian´s side with a blade from his hand. While impaled, Guardian punches Trykiriss square in the face (There ya go Nay ;) ).

While this is happening, Raltise, although weakened, summons what remains of his energy to fire off an immense blast of Khal´ya. The blast takes out five of the remaining eight constructs. These three remaining turn toward the weakened Raltise. However, instead of attacking him, they set their sights for Auron, who is guarding Raltise with his life. Auron sees the three bolts sailing toward him, finds peace with himself right before they strike, and becomes one with the Force. The remains of his tattered robes fall upon Raltise, who manages to scramble over to a nearby Zhrife, prop himself up, and fire off three shots at the constructs. Two of them fall; the third turns to fire upon him. However, Kjersti and Niamh in the meantime have double-teamed this Construct, and take it out, thus ending the Construct threat.

Raltise slowly rises to his feet, Zhrife in hand, and staggers toward Trykiriss and Guardian, who continue fighting. Out of the corner of its eye, Trykiriss notices the Ekishzai coming toward it, acknolwedges this as a definite threat, and decides to abandon the battle with Guardian, instead fleeing for the forest. Raltise gives chase, firing off shots from the Zhrife which Trykiriss dodges, eventually giving up and returning to the group. Nearing Auron´s robes, he stoops to pick them up, then walks over to Guardian and hands them to him, as the group mourns the loss. Niamh heals those who need to be healed, while Gavin calls his ship, the Mynock Hunter, to their position. The remaining five board and set off for the Great Temple.

-----

That about wraps up the Jungle, but I thought I´d include some more details to Zhen´s narrative (well, at least the end of it) --

The Mynock Hunter follows the Reliance into space, where it witnesses the Reliance being captured by two tractor nets -- one each coming from a Ne´kressis Shalein. The ships, of course, intend to deposit the Jedi back onplanet as game for the battle-hungry Shekdai. Raltise attempts to assist in the only way he knows how; he exerts his influence over one of the Shaleins, one that is within the atmosphere of Yavin IV and currently firing a devastating cutter beam into the forest and temple. He severs the Khal´ya connection of those onboard, and the ship loses control, abandoning both the cutter beam and the tractor net, and begins to plummet toward the surface. On-planet, Kalil sees the cutter beam disappear with much relief, yet this is short-lived as he sees the massive Shalein plummeting through the atmosphere toward the temple. As it nears the surface, those onboard suddenly regain control, but all too late. They kick their phase engines(or whatever it was?) into overdrive, causing them to ram into the planet, thusly obliterating Kalil, the Great Temple, and roughly one quarter of Yavin IV(if not more) -- the explosion and successive shockwave can be seen from space by all the horrified onlookers.

That about wraps it up. Heh, I went into super detail. This is long :/

It looks like I missed out on all of the excitement during the time that I had been gone. I really wish I could of been there, at least to watch, if not particapate.

And I missed out on the Senate meeting too! Geeze! Oh well, I will be around for the next major event, or I´ll have to strangle someone.
