[Delete] | First off, I apologize for the language and behavior I engaged in last night. I will try to keep my temper in check from now on, but lately my patience has been thin and I snap easily, I will make efforts to improve this.
That said, I will address some points and specific notes. First off, the issue of 'rushing plots'. While most blame me for this, that is not my fault, though I suppose in a way it is, being the Admin. Ria wanted the date for the OMEN battle because she wanted to have a big battle before school started so the heros would have a chance for a big win, and I agreed with it. Second, the move from Sanctuary to Tython was meant to be a slower transition, with a peace talks and signing in person between the major parties, but Kage moved that along, and I let him. This was mainly because I didn't want to run the factions personally, as people had complained I ran too many factions (namely because at the time, no one wanted to run them) so now others run factions and I try not to run them, so take your pick on that. Believe me or not, those are the facts.
Second, this is more specific to Nate's points: The chat is the canvas where the narrative of the plots is written and drawn, not the plot mod itself. If you don't wish to make use of the plot mods, that is your own fault, not anyone else. The plot mods are for those who want to have a big RP, but not the major RPs, they handle mid-level RPs, like Jen and Dathomir, or Zibble and the Mandalorians. But if you wish to have smaller RPs, I added the NPC handles (namely the Storyteller handle as a narrator role) so anyone could run a small RP they may want to. The Quests thread is also a place where people can post plots they want to run to help organize chatters for the roles. So you have all those options for small to mid level RPs if you want to use them.
There will not be a nulling of major events, because while these may have been 'rushed' some characters had development due to this. I also don't have a 'clique' in which I have only a few I RP with, I have characters spread across all the factions, probably about 30 characters if not more, all to help people with their RPs so they can have RP. Nate, as I stated earlier, your RP to Korriban was to cleanse the Darkside taint that corrupted the holocron, you achieved that, and thus, your family's holocron is clean as you wanted, you were rewarded with a second holocron and a sphere that were taken to Jarek to study. The holocron was eventually unlocked, thanks to help from Z's character (Maya I believe) and then the Jedi moved. So that's got him up to date on that. I don't run your characters, you do, the only thing you got involved with with me was the Korriban RP, thus your character is not tied to me.
Also, the Sith are my primary faction now, since I've gotten others chatters working on the other factions, thus I have things going for them. Don't like it? Fine, RP with others, but I have things going on, they will stew and happen, they won't be rushed, so don't draw instant judgments. Some of the details of how things happened are secret, and as me being the Admin and GM, they are for me to know, not to tell everyone, they will be uncovered during the course of RP, that's part of the reason some of this happens, so RP can happen. The Ithorian will be out and about, his evil plants won't be instant gardens, but they will appear in due time, if you give it half a chance before mocking/insulting/and making instant assumptions.
And from now on, if you want to make insulting, or mocking remarks, please keep them to yourself, that doesn't help anything, and helped set off the mess that happened last night (Seriously, the whole driving the 'Hell Ent' joke into the ground got old really quick). If you don't like something, keep your comments out of the chat. If you need to speak to someone about it, that's what the mods are for or me. Civility would be nice, instead of everyone just screaming and not contributing anything to help the problem. If you can't do that, and it takes away your fun, then click the Exit button and find another chat, because that was the point of this chat when I made it, to give a place for people to have fun, not fight night after night. If you're going to be a dick, do it elsewhere.
I've tried to help everyone however I can, I don't reject everything, sometimes it can't be done, or done just yet, sometimes things have to wait (that simmering and letting it rest, because we don't want to rush everything). I try to work with everyone, so if you have an idea, come to me, I will try to put it in, if I can't, we'll try to work it so it can, if not, I'm sorry in advance, but not everything can be done.
And a final note, I will NOT be stepping down from this chat, I created it, I put alot of time into it, and I don't want to hand it off to another. And second, no one else will be made an Admin, I have mods to help, use them if you need help, don't say make someone else an Admin, because it's not going to happen. And I will not be bullied anymore, this constant night after night of everyone nitpicking, bickering and yelling and stressing me out into a cussing mess will not happen anymore. I will close this room before I let someone bully their way into running things.
You want me to be a fair Admin? Fine, I'll put forth my best effort, by as balance, YOU as the chatters must try and meet me part way and be civil as well. If that's not for you, there are other rooms to RP in, because that's what these rooms are about, RPing for fun, not competing and trying to outdo everyone else. I hold no bounds to anyone to remain here and RP no where else. Go where you have fun, if you have fun here, great, if not, go where you will.
