*a display comes up showing the Bespin Sector of the Anoat System, an Imperial Flight Officer stands before the gathered pilots, a datapad in hand as his eyes do a quick look around the room, then scans over the information on the pad one more time before beginning the briefing*
"We have recieved information that the Rebels are planning to make a supply run of Tibanna Gas from Cloud City. As you well know, Tibanna Gas is used to augment the normal power of blaster and turbolaser weaponry. For this single reason alone, we cannot allow the Rebels to get their hands on this shipment.
This raid will in fact be a two part strike. The two forces will be designated Strike Force 'Alpha' and Strike Force 'Gamma'. While 'Alpha' disrupts the shipment on Bespin, Strike Force 'Gamma' will launch a raid on Thyferra, and take a shipment of Bacta for the Imperium, they will also damage several Bacta producing facilities. This will ensure that the Rebellion's medical supplies will become thin, allowing for Imperium advances as Rebel soldiers are off the field longer as they ration out their medical supplies of bacta.
First, the Bespin raid. Assault Gunboat groups 'Tau' and 'Mu' will hyperspace in when the Rebel Star Destroyer arrives for the shipment. Your job will be to disable the shuttles that are ferrying the shipment to the Rebels. Five minutes after you've begun the attack, Devastator-Class Star Destroyer Oppressor will hyperspace in to join the attack. TIE Interceptor groups 'Theta' and 'Omega' will run defense for the Oppressor and the gunboats as they attempt to bring down the shields. TIE bomber group 'Beta' will make attack runs on the Rebel ship as well. Once the shields have been brought down, the bombers will make a run on the engines and attempt to destroy them, stranding the ship in the system. Once the ship has been disabled, the gunboats will destroy the shuttles and then provide cover for the TIEs as they board the Oppressor and then the strike force will hyperspace out of the system.
While the attack on Bespin is occurring, Strike Force 'Gamma' will drop out of hyperspace over Thyferra. Interdictor-Class Star Destroyer Indisputable will set up it's gravity well projectors to prevent any ships escaping the planet while the attack is occurring. Modified Corvettes Harpax and Griever will provide defense against any defending craft while TIE bomber group 'Nu' descends onto the planet to make attack runs on the bacta facilities. Assault Transport Agrippa will make a combat drop onto the space port on the surface, defended by TIE Interceptor group 'Delta'. Stormtroopers will raid the spaceport for the bacta and load it onto the assault transport. Once the supply is loaded and returned to the Indisputable, all forces will then retreat, damaging any defense on the way out.
Once both strike teams have retreated, they will link up with the third fleet, code named 'Anvil' and then they will make a hyperspace jump back to Imperium Space. Your personal mission details have been loaded into your data pads. Dismissed."
