A special report was sent out across the holonet on all major channels by the Galactic Imperium, where a Moff from the council of the Imperium delivered a message that declared open war upon the Republic, as well as the judgement on Grandmaster Luke Skywalker. The Message was as follows:
"Citizens of the Galactic Imperium...I bid you welcome to these events that will finally see Justice done for the devastating deeds of this man you see before you. Luke Skywalker, Master of the sinister Jedi Order and the one who brainwashed Lord Vader and caused the death of our beloved Emperor. Do you deny these charges? See how he refuses to answer!? He knows he cannot deny his guilt! Thus the judgment has been made. However, unlike you and your treacherous Jedi Order, the Galactic Imperium shall show mercy on you. You are to be taken to our detention blocks, there you will be stripped of your Force Power by Imperium scientists, and you will be rehabilitated into a proper and contributing member of the galaxy. This is the first true act of justice in balancing the scales, ever since the Jedi attempted to murder the Emperor when he founded the Galactic Empire! All these wrongs must be set right! This 'New Republic' is nothing but a farce, a mockery created by terrorists and traitors to the legally established galactic Empire. The Empire that brought Order, Law, and stability to civilized space. Even now they continue to defile Coruscant with their lies and slander and corrupt dealings. The Galactic Imperium shall not rest until this 'New Republic' has been crushed and driven into space dust and the true law and order of the Empire is once again spread out across the stars!"
This was the message delivered, and to those paying attention to the holo broadcast, they would have seen many high ranking officials there, including the Air Commodore of the TIE Fighter Corps, Christoff Dirano, and many others. Luke Skywalker was shackled on display to this show, and after the judgement was passed he was taken away to have his punishment carried out.
Well, it wasn't a massive space battle or an uber force fight to the death...but...well...what'd ya think?
