Chat Rules:

1- Do NOT flood and/or spam the chat.
2- Swearing should be kept to a bare minimum.
3- There is to be no insulting other chat members.
4- NO ONE is to use the registered handles of others. Should a handle get accesses by someone other than it's owner, that handle faces deletion.
5- NO posts containing sexual or otherwise offensive material will be allowed. No touchy subjects either, such as Religion or Politics.
6- All warnings from either Administrators, Moderators, or both WILL be acknowledged. If they are not and there is valid reason, an authority figure may ban a chat user.
7- Chat role play should be kept within the main room and NOT other chats. This is because other chat(s) are not bound to the same rules which apply here.
8- Do not criticize other chatters or their style of RPing. If there is a problem with RP, the Administration shall deal with it.
9- All characters are required to have profiles that have details on their characters. These profiles don't need to be fancy, they can be very basic so long as they have information on your character in case someone needs to view your character's info.
10- Threatening players OOC with IC death and other sorts of hostility in order to gain something from them will result in an instant ban. This is a game to have fun, not something to push people around in.
11- Do not pester the Administration with remarks that you've sent in a application, are wanting an answer to plot ideas, or anything else similar to those. I know about them, I will answer questions and suggestions in my time, and I check the applications several times a day. Pestering me about such things only serves to make me put it off for later, because I will not be pushed into doing something.
12- Do not post links to other chats, that is rude to those in this chat, and by the same token, do not post this link in other rooms, as it is rude to the Administrators of those rooms and the chatters that visit them.

RPG Rules:

1- No 'moding' or cheating. This includes but is not limited to posting the damage of your actions for another person's character, vaguely dodging attacks in RP battles, never getting hurt/tired, etc.
2- Unregistered characters will be limited in that they cannot have any high rank within a faction. This is because they have not been approved by the administration of the chat.
3- If you engage in a battle... be prepared to die, save for instances where the fighting is part of a planned RP in which obviously, the results would be known among those involved. Though it is not violating a rule, it is frowned upon to kill another character without their agreeing on the fate of their character. HOWEVER ... faction leaders, usually being important to development MUST be asked permission before an attempt to kill them can take place.
4- As a show of respect, only one action post containing up to two actions is allowed before another chat user responds to it... and in fights, users are allowed at least two minutes to respond before they are resigned to whatever their opponent posted as an attack.
5- Death may occur when a "registered" character is killed by another "registered" member. An unregistered member is ONLY entitled to kill a registered member if the registered member started the fight in the chat.
6- If/when death occurs, any characters in the same area may salvage the dead person's belongings.
7- Resurrections are prohibited unless there is a VERY good reason for doing so such as the character being essential to current chat events.
8- Weapons, technology and armor are expected to be kept within the limitations of the Star Wars universe. Any new technologies should be discussed with the administration.
9- Weapons with a large destructive capacity (ie. Thermal Detonators and Disruptors and droids like Basilisks) are prohibited during the course of RP, only used for big events with approval from the Admin first.
10- RPs that have post changes added (a person there that wasn't during the RP) MUST be consented by all the major parties involved in said RP, in order for all sides to agree and edit the RP as fitting the new addition.
11- During the course of an RP, a character cannot join by 'insta appearing', unless it is part of a pre-planned RP agreed to by all parties involved. If you enter into an RP already running, your character must be en route to the main RP, to show a logical flow of events.
12- Cannon Characters are not allowed in the RP, save for the major plot, and then only used as background filler. The main focus of this chat is your original characters and the stories they make.
13- Uber Races are banned from use, such as the Gen'Dai because they are extremely over powered. If you have a question of a race you would like to play and want clarification if they are uber or not, ask me (T) and I will inform you.
14-If you have a character that gives birth to a baby, that baby MUST be RPed growing up, you can NOT jump the age several years. If you want to have a baby, you must let it grow, like a real one would. Only rare cases of genetic manipulation can allow for advanced aging, but this must be Admin approved first.
15- If you register a Jedi, you MUST play a Jedi, you cannot leave the Order to be a rouge or Darksider or anything else as soon as you're registered. If you do this, your character faces deletion.

Force Power Rules:
1- Force Powers such as Visions are restricted from Role Play save for plot usage due to the fact they easy to abuse. The only use for Visions in smaller RPs is if everyone agrees to it and what it will show.
2- Force Ghosts are not allowed, again, save for only major RP plots. This is due to the fact it is unfair to allow a select few to continue to RP their character after death when others cannot (droids, not Force Users)
3- Keep the use of Force Powers within reason. No one is going to make a star go Nova or slap a squad of Star Destroyers into another system. Also, make sure you make sure your character is not overusing the Force. There is a limit to how much they can do.
4- Do not abuse the Force. Characters that have mastery of the Force will not be young kids, they must be older, experienced, and have had formal training. And not everyone can have access all of the Force.

*NOTICE:
All rules previously posted may be added to and/or changed at any time without notice.
