[Delete] | We're trying to organize a one-shot chat-wide RP event, a huge and glorious space battle, involving as many players/characters/factions as possible. At the moment, the goal is to hold the event on Thursday, January 21st, at 10:30pm Eastern, as long as that's convenient for everyone. Below is a list of characters we need. Feel free to use your current characters or create new ones for the event.
The "Good" Guys
New Republic
- Some number of capital ships, including at least a captain, and probably some crew. (Please talk to Jen if you want your character to captain an NR capital ship.)
-Some fighter squadrons, with at least one person to command the squad leader and NPC the other fighters. But if you want to RP as just a fighter pilot within a squadron, that's cool too.
The Jedi Order
- We have one capital ship, I think. Someone should command it, and maybe there should be some crew, too.
- We have 30 X-Wings, 10 Y-Wings, 3 A-Wings, and 2 B-Wings. Have at them!
-Due to the alliance between the Jedi and the NR, qualified Jedi can probably also have some NR capital ships and some NR fighters, but you should talk to Jen about that.
The Mandalorians
- If you want to be involved in the awesome space battle of awesomeness, bring some capital ships and some fighters, or put on some helmets and swim around in space. Whatever you want! Come join us!
A Secret Mission
- A small, handpicked (i.e. let me know you want to do this) group of Jedi Masters and very experienced Jedi Knights will go on a secret mission during this battle. If you want to be involved, your character must either train with Mazzik/Niamh to learn to fight without the Force, already have experience in fighting Force-less (and let Niamh know of it), or at the very least make an IC post that he or she has read Niamh's Guide to Battling Void Troopers and is training on his/her own.
- Some NR Intel officers can also come along, if they like, to help keep the mission a secret and be sneaky.
The Empire
General Requirements
- Probably lots of capital ships.
- Probably lots of TIE fighters.
- Whatever/whoever is required to maintain Project OMEN.
Secret Mission Defense
- Some Void Troopers.
- Some Imperial Knights.
- Some droids.
- Anyone Sithly or otherwise eeeeevil who doesn't want to fight the space battle, but does want to be involved.
If you want to be involved... please reply to this post, listing the character(s) you'd like to have participate, their factions, their ranks or positions within the faction, whether you can make it on Thursday at 10:30pm Eastern, or else supply an alternative date/time.
If you have unaffiliated or otherwise unsuitable characters whom you would like to involve in the RP, IM me or Talon and we'll work something out.
Remember, this RP will only be awesome with YOUR participation, and its potential is only limited by YOUR imagination, so come help defeat (or defend) the Empire! Win more glory and/or battle scars for your characters! Show us all what you're really made of! Only YOU can prevent forest fires! ...Er, sorry, got carried away there.
