ALL CHARS ARE FINE....for now. A sickness has descended upon the Cross Town village. The young, old, male, female, and even animals have been found at risk. The sickness will not affect everyone but most people. It is an old sickness that legend speaks about and only the most elderly in town would have heard about it from their parents long ago. The fact that the plague is contained in and around the area of Cross town suggest Foul play but for now finding a cure should be top priority. Wandering traders and boatmen are advised to stay away so the market is suffering as of late. What does the Illness do? When one becomes sick it effects them in stages, the final one being death. Yes your character can die; this is to encourage people to rp to push the story along. Stage 1: Flu like symptoms. Cough, sneezing, hot and cold flashes. Stage 2: Coughing up blood, painful throat, burning/welting skin Stage 3: Super weak. Temporary loss of sight, speech, or hearing. It would come in flashes, one day you might be fine but the next you could be death a few hours. Stage 4: Delusion and sometimes madness Stage 5: Death slow and painful Quests: Part1 Secret of the Cure – The plague came once before but so long ago no one remembers what happened, only that many died but not all, meaning a cure must have been found. There should be no one currently alive knowing the information in Cross Town. Also the info is not so easily found. So what shall you do? Note some chars will not get sick, like ones that never enter the town. Unless they do after then they have a chance. The more I think about it with others the more I dont so much agree. So I want to make this an open discussion on the subject. What are your reasonings for people that are "immune"?   Morriden 8:44pm, November 15, 2009 [Edit] [Delete] Given I'm sure someone will come along and put it in better words then I can I will just get to the point. Most of this Immune that I see is do to it is from a God. Paladins gain theirs through their gods and so do Celestial. Thus the god has blessed them to protect them, Unless this plague was made by a god could it get around the immunity, If said dark god is stronger then the person own god of light. Some demons and devils are Immune to such things as they are how you say.. Spend alot of time around Plagues as it is one of their traits.. Like a Plague elemental. Now such goodly beings with Immunities can only keep that ability if they stay the align of their class. Such as Paladins have to remain lawful Good and some clerics faithful to their God. IN all honesty there might be one or two who want to be infected but are immune do to class or race. Well The way I see it here for those is simple. It is your char, if you want to be a victim then go ahead. You can come up with some sensable excuse as to why you was effected. Mine are immune because they have already died once. They are merely present in the world to perform their tasks as Reapers and Angels. I've explained what Reapers and Angels are on another thread so I won't go into detail on that but.. as for other cases. I'm not too sure. It's as Morri said. If they want someone to be a victim include them in the rolling process or just plan to have them sick. That's all I'll really say on it.
