Wedge and Oniko you can approve it here and tell me if anything is too out of line. ------------------------------------------------------ In this world there are messengers. These messengers have been chosen to guide the dead to be judged rightfully before taking the path to heaven or hell. Their job is to ultimately complete the process of 'fate' and make sure each person in this world dies at their given time. There are two types of messengers and they have been given the common name of A Reaper and an Angel. Being as such, these two types of messengers have been given separate roles to follow. I will start by talking about The Reapers and what it is they do. A Reaper - This title is obtained by catching the attention of a Reaper who thinks the victim earned the job of a messenger. I.E. avoiding their death on several occasions and providing a challenge in being silenced. Once appointed the title of a Reaper this messenger will start at Rank F and can work their way up to a Rank S class title. Ranks are important for how many souls one can capture. Souls are used to help the Reaper upon the Reaper's will. These soul's are placed within objects on a Reaper's person, making the objects alive and animated. Note. Not all soul's obey their Reaper's command, they merely resist it and can either be punished for it or dismissed. At Rank F-Rank C a Reaper can only have two Soul's. Rank B they can have three, Rank A they can have four and at Rank S they can have five souls to store in items. A Reaper is known to have the following on them at all times: A book of some kind to keep logs of who is to die and who has been 'guided' to the judging area; a watch of some kind that will stamp a person's time on them when used; and a weapon of some kind to help defend themselves. An Angel - An angel has been appointed by God to perform this task as they have been worthy enough to receive it. They do the exact same thing as a Reaper does, save, if one has avoided their fated death, then they have the -choice- of granting them a 'miracle' in which the person will no longer be pursued and will be given a second chance at life. Note: This skill is really only used when an angel has watched a person for some time and thus can decide whether they deserve a second chance or not. Like Reaper's have souls they can store in an item, Angel's have a single spirit that chooses them and no matter what the Angel does or says it will be there with them forever unless the spirit grows bored of the Angel. Angel's have ranks as well and these ranks determine how strong the spirit can be. Rank F-Rank C the spirit is at the beginning stage. Think small and cute. Rank B the spirit evolves into a medium stage. Rank A the spirit grows into a larger stage. Rank S the spirit gains a special attack and is more likely to stay with the Angel forever. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Additional notes in this RP! 1. You can't just pick a random person in the chat room and attack them. Well you can but they probably won't die because they didn't agree to it. So your fault for not asking and getting consent. 2. If you attack an NPC it must be logged under this post. Put your character's name, their rank, their class, their souls/spirit and who they have killed. Also put how your character died. 3. Angels and Reapers can fight over someone. They're not sworn enemies but they can have their disagreements! 4. Your character isn't invincible. No super powers. Be creative here. Ranks provide limits, show those limits and balance it out. 5. If you want to be a Reaper or Angel please IM me: Ryouya Takai or or PM Lucas or Aya and ask if you have any questions. 6. If you want to be a victim lemme know trough IM or PM too. 7. Judges aren't being accepted yet as I'm still developing one. The only judge that is known is Judge Darius. However he survived from drowning when a boat he was attacked by pirates and sunk into the ocean. His later confirmed death was after a fight with another Reaper whom didn't live like they planned to either. Thus, how Lucas became a Reaper~. Lucas intervened at the last moment, and collected their souls for his own purposes. Although the two indignant spirits attempted to destroy Lucas at first (at which they failed miserably,) she is extremely loyal to the Reaper. She and Sabel have a punchy sort of relationship, though they work well together for the common cause, and occasionally get along - especially when they're scheming.
