South Florida - "A River of Fire and Blood":
"A river of grass", that is what the Everglades which runs to the west of the South Florida metropolitan region has been called. It has been given that name because the marshland resembles a living river covered in sawgrass and cattails through which water lazily flows south.

Fly into any South Florida airport during the night and you will see a different sight if you look down past the clouds. Once the sun sets, the river of grass is replaced by a river of fire as countless lights turn on, illuminating the streets in false sunlight. As you approach your destination and begin to descend, you become aware that soon you too will become a part of this river of fire; a river made up just as much by the people living and visiting the area as by the false fire which you see flowing below you.

And that's when it dawns upon you. It isn't a river of grass which you are heading towards but a river of fire and blood; one which soon you shall become just another drop within.

Palm Beach County:
Things remain relatively quiet within the semi-rural area known as Palm Beach County. Though occasional skirmishes are had between with local Sabbat packs and Camarilla territories, not much can be said with regards to major land grabs other than the occasional junkie shovelhead raids. The existence of several so called "gator zones" where vampires of any sect have never returned from might be a contributing factor towards this uneasy peace, with most of the fighting being found along the eternally wrecked I-95 corridor.

Broward County:
A relative peace has settled over the county after a summer of war. Initially the site of a massive territory grab, the so called "Silent Night" when the Camarilla conducted a large scale ground raid of several Anarch and Sabbat cities; it soon devolved into civil war after the then Toreador Primogen of Coral Springs took power from the Malkavian Prince of Fort Lauderdale during a Sabbat retailatory strike. The results was a summer of bloodshed on all sides, with nothing other than an internal power shift within the Camarilla. And though now there is peace, it is an uneasy one at best; with both sides preparing to go to war once more as the Camarilla look to reestablish a secure stronghold from which they may launch an offensive into Miami-Dade County.

Miami-Dade County:
Crime ridden. Polluted. Plagued by a large income gap. Miami-Dade county is no longer jewel of Florida it once was, having devolved into a cesspool filled with the occasional gem. Barring the scars of the territorial battle between the Camarilla, Sabbat, and Carribean Setites, crime plagues most of its' suburbs and cities with only those neighborhoods belonging to the mega-rich being sparred.
