The South Florida Metropolitan Area. Spanning most of Florida's south-east coast, it is a combination of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County. At 6,137 square miles to over six million residents, it serves as the 8th densest population area within the United States. An urban spawl where city boundaries mean the same thing as local names for neighborhoods, blending nature with civilization at every corner as a result of resting within the only tropical climate within the continental United States. Money flows like water, and with three major international airports, as well as dozens of smaller ones, and three seaports, so do the people.

Over six million people. And not all of them human. But all of them attempting to survive within this literal concrete and flora jungle. Or as the locals think of it on the days when the grind gets to you...

"the Swamp".

When the Camarilla conducted a regional census, it found between 500 and 1000 vampires lived within the region. This estimate did not include "tourist" but it did serve as an estimate for Sabbat, Anarch, and Independent numbers as well.

South Florida. An amalgam of nature and civilization, of different species and breeds, each one as dangerous as the other. Each one attempting to survive within this River of Fire and Blood.

Both the fight against, and the struggle to integrate, nature cannot be overstated. From constant erosion along the coast to monthly (if not more depending on the weather) flooding, to the mind staggering amount of vegetation growing alongside the buildings and roads, nature's power is felt by everyone living within the region. The combination of nearly year round high humidity and tropical location makes South Florida a natural green house to the point that a day time fly over of the area leaves the impression that this is how things might look if nature were allowed to retake all of the cities in the world, minus the constant movement of cars down below.

The plants scrub the air, providing superior air quality to similiar metropolitan areas which aren't as verdent. They also wage war against the buildings which they grow along, against the paved roads which choke their roots. Because even in the most developed regions of the area, at least one tree can be found every 5 feet.
Is It Day Time Or Night TIme?

For the sake of narrative convience, unless stated otherwise within the specific scene, assume that all activities within the room occur at night time. Not only does this allow all characters the ability to potentially be in a scene, but it also makes sense with regards to the accepted level of oddity within the region. Even though the state is a giant oddity and it is agreed that a fair bit of weird shit happens within the three south-eastern counties, most of that weird stuff happens at night.
