It will star our OC characters and eventually even the Canon characters. Pretty much we will have a small pool of artists working on the pretty pictures and questions will be answered by there respective RPers. We are going to start out slow but as the blog persists more of our characters will be introduced as the viewers see them in the background and such. Also, If you wish to have your characters not participate in this project please speak up here in this thread. We will respect your decision and you will not be involved. We are also not censoring anything. Everything will be as is, No names will be changed, No relationships will be altered. We are still open for discussions on this topic so feel free to voice your opinions. This is a chat wide project so everyone should have a say. Im not against having the oc try to be shown out a bit more but as the creative staff we should work on the questions as they come to find the best path rather than to make these rules before we even have a feel for it. That said, we defenatly need artists, if we could have a nice semi steady update then its up to our content to impress the fans. by having an update they can count on they know when to come by, they dont have to check daily hoping and waiting, and then getting frustrated, and stop checking only to find out they missed three or four. besides artists creative staff is probly helpful, should an artist be unsure what to draw we should be able to bang out suggestions on a scene, or as I suspect we may have time for these in between, chances at small stories. I think a small 2-4 page story should in fact be prepared to kcik us off as I imagine it will be a few days before we get a question and get it answered, so we should have material to put up in the meantime.   Bookie 1:41am, May 22, 2012 [Edit] [Delete] Yeah sorry Det, Didnt mean to word it like that. But like you said, Its up to what questions we get really. But I would at least like to get one or two OCs out there before bringing Canons. Just so people know what to expect from us.   Tim 3:51am, May 22, 2012 [Edit] [Delete] If we get the tumblrbot asking what your favorite inanimate object is as the first question, that would be a good way to intro a bunch of OCs just standing around showing off their various favorite inanimate objects. 8-Bit with an arcade cabinet, Sienna with an ocarina, Efram with an abacus, Doug with a miner helmet, Junie Bug with a couch, something like that. I'm hesitant, personally, but I'm always hesitant for new things. If every wants this enough to get it off the ground, I'll participate. EDIT: Going through the logs, here's the first of my misgivings that's not random paranoia about nobody actually liking us or splitting focus away from the chat: Too many people have too many different ideas of what this should be and how it should be done. That stands a very big chance of poisoning the well with whatever direction is taken. Personally, I'm with Det. Our canons are a major core of what goes on here, and that needs to be represented. And, let's face it, like it or not, they do kind of steal a lot of the show here. If this for us, by us, so to speak, outside readers be bucked, then what are we gonna do with it that isn't what we're doing in the chat? If this is for the reader, what's our end goal? We're gonna let them know where this all comes from, right? Link the chat? And then if they like what they see, they'll come and join in. If we're holding back things we think they won't like because it's not their headcanon or the general fanon, then isn't that painting an inaccurate and downright deceptive picture of what we're about? Would we rather have people unfollow the tumblr because of a relationship they don't like, or come here and find out and then express that dissatisfaction where we live? Also, the example harped on in the logs isn't great. The general fanon ships Twilight/Trixie as often as not, in my experience. I can get behind that idea. So basically, it seems to me like the best way to get one is to start with something, so I'll propose one, and then everybody weigh in on it, and then we'll make any changes we need. I propose, then, that our aim is: To entertain a section of the MLP fandom by producing an "Ask Tumblr" to share the unique flavor and story of our Ponyville.
