[Delete] | Would there be interest within the community in regards to occasionally taking a few days or a week off at a time to play something a little different that relates to our characters but doesn't really have a place in chat canon?
Some possible examples might include, but not be limited to:
Timeskip ahead and play everypony's kids!
Everypony's the opposite gender, and always was. The characters wouldn't notice anything's wrong because it's how it always was from their view.
Humanized characters with no magic or anything. Everybody's just some mundane person living out their life.

My major points of hesitation are that, in order to get the most out of it, I'd like regular rp shut down for the duration of the event so as to not provoke confusion, and it would be a total bear to organize. |

[Delete] | Well, as humans, we might consider referring to said characters by more traditional names, to further widen the gap, as it were. Whether or not we use alternate handles, well, we'll see.
On the plus side, I know that people, versus ponies, will appreciate my clothes more, because they actually have to wear them! ^^ |

[Delete] | I'm not sure about the idea for organizing something like this and shutting everything else down in the meantime. If it could be something more spontaneous for when there's nothing else to do, it would go a lot more smoothly.
That said, I've always thought it'd be fun to have a separate rp for our foals when they're grown up. Although we'd have to come up with cutie marks and professions for our blank flanks, which could prove to be a challenge and potentially go against canon in the future. I duno. ^^ |

[Delete] | Ive had an idea that maybe we should run these rps in another chat, or at least the backup chat. this would allow us more flexibility in planning, being able to continue our current rps without asking somepony to find a stopping place, this also allows us to go a bit longer in our plays, allowing for a bit more fun and development of the alternate plot.
I believe tym had intended for it to happen during times when we dont have anything going on and semi-spontaneously, but theres always some little thing going on I think, and wed always be asking someone if it was ok to do this or that. |

[Delete] | I support this idea for spontaneous little things. If it gets too confusing in the main chat, then sure, we could use a backup, but I'm not even sure that'd be a problem. They wouldn't even have to be events.
"I'm bored, but I wanna RP."
"Me too, but I donno what to do."
"Lets make our characters the other gender/bears/unaware robots for the afternoon."

[Delete] | One idea I have withsomething not canon with chat events is maybe cross non-pony characters in for just for a little bit. I'm mostly interested in that to see how characters would react to what-not, but I like some of the other ideas too. |
