[Delete] | Swapped and missing horns and wings. Thats the idea of the plot I just came up with. Random ponies wind up swapping their sub species with some one else. For example, an earth pony becomes a unicorn! or a unicorn becomes a pegasus!...and no this time it's not the doctor's fault!
Whats more it's found that it's more than just horns and wings getting switched around, but it's also their talents!
The cause of this? The stone of destiny! Due to the actions of a greedy pony on a archeology dig the Doctor is leading, the stone gets activated and zaps random ponies in Ponyville.
The cure?..now that'd be spoiling! Now mind you! This RP has limited space and obviously in order for this to work! We need a equal number of earth pony, pegasi, and unicorn players! Also to keep things from getting over complicated we only have limited space o.o
So for those who think this is a good/bad idea, or have suggestions getin touch with me, the same with those who wanna get involved!

[Delete] | Count me in, Laughing Stock can switch with anypony. Also, his special talent is "circus performance", i.e. natural ability in acrobatics, singing, acting, ect. in levels appropriate for a circus, not jokes. Humor is his thing, not his talent. |

[Delete] | I like the idea, but I really want to involve Efram, and his talent is yet not announced. Are we certain we need to include talent swapping as well? If it's a must, we might wish to talk about how unknown talents are handled. |

[Delete] | Here's an idea, Fin. Perhaps you could tell whoever get's Efram's talent what it is, and arrange it so that "through circumstance", the other pony partially stumbles across it. They don't figure out the whole deal, but they find a portion. |

[Delete] | I like this idea, But I personally think we should leave out the talent swapping. It would feel too much like a body swap. Plus I think it would be funnier to see those involved and how they adapt to having there features swapped, and having talents go with it kind of takes away from that. I want to see ponies try to do there OWN talents without there wings/horns or perhaps instructing the pony who received there feature how to do there job, But these are just suggestions. Its your plot and im just voicing a opinion. I would love playing Cogsmith without his horn. I would like him to be a Earth Pony if possible. I DONT want him to fly...not yet anyway. ^^ |

[Delete] | Another thing we need to decide is whether pegasi and unicorns are just earth ponies with extras or if the earths have something unique too, like stamina or the like. Provided that hasn't already been established. |

[Delete] | Totally with the Shepard (Book). Switching type and talent makes too much of a new pony, especially since your talent is supposed to be a large part of who you are you arnt really you without it. Maybe if there's a couple of people who really want the talent they could work out their talents swapping with type and leave it up as a choice for the ponies it would add an extra bit for those who want it, and leave it out for those who dont really.
I think ill throw my hat into this plot as well probly applejack, though I may consider fetlock but either way ill have an earthy pony in the group
And as for what brony said, Tym and I both always felt the earth ponies had a sort of natural magic which works through their talents in an obviously much more subtle and natural than pegasus or unicorns, (cept for pinkie whos idea of subtle is shouting less loudly and is probably one of the few earth ponies who seems to have her natural magic be more of a supernatural and almost on par with the pegasus natural abilties.) so I think it would be great to see an earth pony get a horn and suddenly their subtle natural talents become full blown magical additions. (cept for pinkies O.O pinkie sense X100... the world is doooomed) |

[Delete] | I suppose it might just make more sense to just have wings, horns and earth pony abilities swapped the more I think about it. But yeah I suppose a pony's true talent wont be effected.
