This thread will be for organizing rpers to get together to perform certain events, big or small, as well as possibly discussing what should happen. It could be used for holidays too, unless the mods think it better to create a separate thread for that. |

[Delete] | The Running of the Leaves was a smashing success. In a photo finish, Desert Wind took home the gold, with Rainbow Dash holding the silver. applejack carried a close bronze. In addition, thanks to the large turnout, every single tree in Whitetail Wood was easily stripped bare.
Next on the agenda, I'd like to host Nightmare Night.
UPDATE: Nightmare Night is successfully completed and was most enjoyable, huzzah.

[Delete] | Ponyville Park will be host to a semi-private tea party, to celebrate all that is Fluttershy. For reasons of the guest of honor's comfort zone, there is a maximum headcount allowed, and the volume must be kept low. This is the world Shhhh champion, after all.
Out-of-character, I would ask only those that know Fluttershy be in attendance, and limit to one character per player... except pet characters, all of them are welcome. ^^ |

[Delete] | Artic Flurry and her strongstallion Big Apple have struck again. this time they posed as Investigation of Dark Magic and Rituals (IODMAR) agents and questioned Trixie about her time in the forest. they then attempted to gain information about the forbidden book she had that was now in possession of Dr. Hooves, however they were foiled and forced to retreat.

Spike has been chosen to participate in a exchange program. He will be studying abroad in Dream Valley with another student from the academy for a while. Who knows what will happen in Dream Valley. Will Spike meet a new friend? Who knows. ^^ |

Specifically, Hearts & Hooves Day is in Spring. Should we have Hearts & Hooves Day in mid-February to correspond with Valentine's Day with Winter Wrap-Up occurring prior to that, or should we have Winter Wrap-Up in March to correspond with the equinox and Hearts & Hooves Day after that?

[Delete] | Keep the holidays tied to their corresponding real world holiday, they're harder to remember. This is MLP after all, it's easy to imagine that there's really only one or two months of snow allowed before they get tired of it and change the weather again. |

[Delete] | We could do winter wrapup friday night, allow some bleedover/transition on Saturday through the day as well as starting up some H&H day stuff for those that are done, and then have H&H day be primarily saturday evening through sunday night. Maybe? I'm not sure. I prefer that H&H day happen during our three-day weekend, though. |

[Delete] | Winter wrap up should be held off till the first week of march, there are three months of winter and I for one believe if we are going to strive to keep our holidays in order we should keep our seasons in order.
HnH should simply be put into winter, the idea that the episode must be in spring simply because there's no snow is a bad observation, considering they had fully grown apple fruit and later harvesting apples would actually suggest HnH was taking place late summer early fall rather than spring. |

[Delete] | Here's my thoughts. I've put them in the chat, but I don't think they're here.
The seasons should be three months each and should roughly correspond to the real world seasons. This is actually an interesting way to put the unique setting on display because we just have it suddenly stop being one season and start being another with no transition greater than a single day.
That said, I'd like Hearts & Hooves Day in the spring. When the flowers open and the birds return and the bees wake up and the trees are fresh and new and young ponies turn to thoughts of love and all that mushy stuff people always say about Spring.
Given those (and they're my preferences, not rulings or anything like that), the choice is spring early so H&H can correspond to Valentines or spring in march and H&H standing apart from Valentine's Day. the latter makes sense to me because why would H&H Day be in February without the martyrdom of St. Valentine hanging over our heads?
Of course, what Det said is also an option, have H&H corresponding to Valentine's and still have Spring in March with H&H just happening in Winter.
The impression I've gotten from everyone else that's really stated any firm opinion, though, is that we want this all to happen more or less immediately and move on, so my plan was to just go ahead with it and surreptitiously move it all back to March next year when the episode's not fresh in our minds. |

Three months for each season, pre-scheduled, is fine, but I'm really tired of winter right now, in reality, and I'd like to end it early this year if we can. |

[Delete] | Sounds good to me. I think it should be done this week, with no big events or dances to plan so that everyone can do their own part at their own convenience. That way if someone can't be around tomorrow, they can just do it the next day, or the next, or whatever. This isn't as big of a holiday as Hearth's Warming, so I think a more laid back approach is appropriate. |

In the form of it being a fairly small canvas. Each, individually painted, various scenes of Ponyville. On the back, a small note! It reads, "Thank you for taking the time to come and visit me at my party. I truly do appreciate your gesture of kindness, so allow me to return the favor with a gift of thanks. Hope to see you around!

But what we could do is have events start on the weekend and run-on into the week or vice versa. That way everyone no matter what there preference can get some time in. |

[Delete] | Swapped and missing horns and wings. Thats the idea of the plot I just came up with. Random ponies wind up swapping their sub species with some one else. For example, an earth pony becomes a unicorn! or a unicorn becomes a pegasus!...and no this time it's not the doctor's fault!
Whats more it's found that it's more than just horns and wings getting switched around, but it's also their talents!
The cause of this? The stone of destiny! Due to the actions of a greedy pony on a archeology dig the Doctor is leading, the stone gets activated and zaps random ponies in Ponyville.
The cure?..now that'd be spoiling! Now mind you! This RP has limited space and obviously in order for this to work! We need a equal number of earth pony, pegasi, and unicorn players! Also to keep things from getting over complicated we only have limited space o.o
So for those who think this is a good/bad idea, or have suggestions getin touch with me, the same with those who wanna get involved! |
