[Delete] | Celebrating a time of year when the First World of the Fae and Humanities own come closer then ever, the festival is as much a chance to party as to enjoy and celebrate with friends and family on the other side of the scale. Ranging from Half-Fae to elves and gnomes to even such celebrities like the Fairy Godmother herself presiding, the festival consists of the following events, all happening at the same time in various ways.
Insult Swordfighting: Roleplay heavy. Both participants clash in insult and try to laugh the other out of the ring first as well as be distracted enough at the taunt. Being run at the Laughing Elf tavern by the bartender, "Doright"(Halfling, retired captain of the local Watch.). This is the contest where you find the Silver Glasses.
Boxing: Run near the square by the soldiers. Open-hand slaps instead of fists, straightforward dice battle. Soldier in charge is a Dwarf. (Ol"Thunderbelly".) This is where you find the White Dove Feather.
Darts: Hit the target, win a prize. Dice'd. This is where you get the Gold Pocketwatch.
Fools Power: Both contestants arm wrestle. The winner then drinks one flagon of ale. For every person he arm wrestles and wins, he drinks another one. When he faints, then the next one steps in. Roleplay heavy. This is where you get the first Glass Slipper.
Battle of the Bards: A talent show, for stories, songs, poems or magic. Roleplay heavy/dice'd. This is where you find the second Glass Slipper.
Other then various other spectacles from displays of martial might, various vendors hawking food and trinkets among other such entertainments, the main event is the crowning of the Festival King and Queen. To qualify, they must finish the events and beat their competition.
Find your love: Blindfold either with the glasses. Each person in the competition now looks just like their partner. Roleplay heavy. First one to find their real partner, wins.
Scavenger Hunt: Over the course of the Festival, collect all five items listed. Silver Glasses, White Dove Feather, Gold Pocketwatch and two Glass Slippers.
Dragon Battle: Feather turns into a prop sword, and the pocketwatch becomes a shield as both partners must work together to defeat "the dragon". Actually an illusion that fires water balloons.
Dance Contest: Wearing the glass slippers, the partnership must out-dance the rest of the remaining contestants.
Winner gets the wish and the crown of the festival and runner-up gets a free dinner and a medal that says "Knight and Dame of the Festival." Runner-up prize is a kiss from the queen-mother.
Also included are three RP encounters. Either help or hinder, the choice is yours. Have fun. And well-met by Moonlight!
