Rules:
01: Disruptive Behavior
Used to be, specific disruptive behaviors were listed out here with specific punishments. This didn't work. Yes, some good-natured people actually attempted to follow the rules. God bless you people, you know who you are.
Some others sought ways to dance around the rules in order to piss other people off. To those people? Begone, God-dammit.
From now on, this is going to be left open to interpretation. Punishment will be meted out per offense and offender. If this seems draconian, I apologize... It was .... unfortunately .... heavily needed.
03: Canons - Defined as characters from other works of fiction - are expressly allowed. However, they are still subject to the other rules. So if a character is inherently invulnerable...he will not be invulnerable here. Be fair, folks. Canon is not 'word of God' here. We can, and do, change things to fit with others. You guys can do this yourselves. PLEASE do this yourselves. Don't make me have to decide this kind of stuff. It's ridiculous. It's the kind of in-arguing that drove me away from my own chat the first time.
04: Cybering - No heavy Cybering publically in the chat. Teasing? That's fine. PDA? Totes fine. But let's use a little discretion here, k? Just a little, it's all I ask. I don't mind if a character streaks through the chat, or steals someone's clothes while they're swimming, or even gooses someone or something.
Please no straight-up sex-acts in my chat plzkthx? Awesome.
05: Wheedling. God DAMMIT this should not be a thing. But thinking on it ... it always HAS been. There's always someone who is dissatisfied with how things are in the rules. Or with how they were punished when they were asked to stop doing a thing and they kept doing it. Or with how OTHERS are being punished for same. Please don't wheedle me to change this stuff. I'm not nearly as patient as I used to be. I've gotten a bit cynical with the world since the 'old days'. I'll try not to be. But do me a favor, and don't wheedle. If I say "No" .... leave it alone. Please?
