[Delete] | Following is a list of factions, as well as the icon that goes to that group.
Creatures of the Night - This faction basically covers all the creatures from werewolves to fishmen to wraiths and even Frankenstien's monster. Does not cover Vampires.
Followers of the Night - Humans who have joined the side of evil. They range from regular humans to those of magical spells and even ones who've made deals to become more than human.
Vampires - Vampires are top the creatures of the night, with the likes of Dracula and so forth.
Guild Hunters - These are trained hunters who have formed a guild that hunts what they are paid for, from vampires to common criminals. The guild pays out money to the hunters from the rewards given from their hunt, the Guild always takes a cut of the money from the reward to put it to the guild's use.
Freelance Hunters - Hunters who do not belong to a guild. They often come to blows with the Guild hunters, as they are seen as stealing work for the Guild Hunters. Freelance hunters often work for reasons other than money, but in the end they preform the job like the Guild Hunters. Freelance also often work alone, while the Guild Hunters work in teams many times, and the freelance hunters also specialize in some areas while Guild Hunters often generalize.
Inquisitor - These are special workers of the church that go out to determine the guilt of a person. Often times these people are seen commanding a unit of Church Knights. Many of them also have control of magic they use in their work to determine if a person is guilty or not. They often execute the people they condem as guilty publicly, to make them an example to others not to become criminals.
Knights of the Order - Knights of the Church, often under the command of Inquisitors, they go around the land, punishing the wicked and guilty, protecting the innocent from harm. They often come to blows with Hunters, but are forbidden from fighting the creatures of the night. |
