Where the hell have you been? I never get email jokes from you anymore. (You don't send me flowers, any more....LMCAO) From what I hear, your past year has been kinda shitty too...house fire, car carrier crash. Did you travel south to FL? I hope things are getting better for you, now.

I agree, logging w/ user name and password everytime you wanna post something is a pain, but it's still a good board for CC members.

If you log into the main page, post one line, then open the board... you won't need to log in with each post or reply here.

Ok I lied. You do have to do it. It wasn't like that before. Maybe Tino made some changes.

yup krazy yr 4 sure, and yup a trip to Fl in feb to take care of the wifes fathers arrangements then to Il to have his service. then the transport truck was in a roll over accident with 4 vehicles on its back. then a fire, then a trip to Detroit to wifes sisters funeral.

how the yr started

in jan we had started a remodel the 1st of the yr, moving some walls and making the corners of the walls in the office 45degree corners to make it all more wheel chair accessible and to make our office bigger, and a new desk ect. plus all new windows and a new front door and new elevator doors and elevator electric door openers, and we remodeled the guest bath too. adding ceramic tile and a nice laminate wood floor on the upper level.

in feb my wifes dad passed away in st. pete fl. (well actually he died around new yrs day, we were notified by the sheriff coming to our door on jan 3th 06) then we took care of everything by phone, and then we made a trip to fl in feb. to take care of his things and pick up his cremains. he lived there alone, his brothers and sisters all lived there but died b4 him. he would not leave fl. we tried many Xs.

then april 5th we lost the transport truck to a roll over accident with 4 vehicles on it's back, 3 new zero mile vehicles that were dealer to dealer trades, and one 2005. one was a 06 tiger motor home on a chevy 1 ton 4X4 chassis, it was a $84,000 vehicle, plus a new mini cooper and a new audi vert and a 05 Chrysler vert, it maxed our insurance of a $175,000 but was just enough to cover the cargo / load.

the fire april 15th:
well the 19th of april a wet heavy snow started and we lost power,
my son and I were in the garage, after a couple hrs we fired the generator and I brought the elevator up on generator power, no problems. power came back on, but the next day it snowed 14" of wet heavy snow, we had lost power again, and after about 4hrs we fired the generator up, and after about 10mins the generator wound up on fast idle and the voltage regulator went out of the generator, putting out around 535 to 575 volts to the entire house. witch blew TVs & fax machine, phones and 2 fridges. plus my home stereo & a PC plus other things too, but the high voltage started 3 or 4 surge protectors on fire. the whole house was full of black smoke, my son crawled to the garage on his knees to get a fire extinguisher, and put the fire out ! we only had a small amount of structure damage, it was 95% smoke damage. insurance packed our entire house contents out to be cleaned and ozoned, and removed all ceilings and put em back up, and primed everything and 2 coats of paint on every wall, plus refinished all the wood work and all new carpet in the lower level. so we basically ended up with a new house on the inside, But what a bitch ! we spent a little over 10 weeks in a motel. everything will be finished by this Fri. the big hurdle was mixing 2 projects (the remodel job and the fire restoration) sorry for the long story.

then :
the 1st of may a trip to Detroit to the wifes sisters funeral, she was 54 and died of brain cancer.

this part has keep my son and I from going nuts ! prob did not help my wife or daughter.

On a side note, I bought a nice clean 87 Suburban 4X4 with 3 rows of seats, factory tow package/2 shocks on each wheel, tranny cooler heavy springs ect. butt it has a rod knock . I have a 350 2bolt main 1 piece rear main block on the motor stand, and I bought a eagle balanced 383 rotating assembly with full floating pistons, (we are ditching the tbi set up 4 a carb) the block is going in for machine work end of aug. I'm building the combo 4 (http://www.ryanscarpage.50megs.com/combos1.html) as I have a fresh set of these heads and carb on the shelf, I just sent off my HEI to be rebuilt and recurved to match my combo. I'm waiting on money to order a new 700R4 tranny from http://bowtieoverdrives.com/index.shtml

we are home now and house is 98% done (butt still unpacking boxes) we have lived in this house 19+ yrs witch =s a lot of stuff. and we now have a new transport truck and a 4 car wally mo trailer and a little more dept too :(

but now things are looking up :)

well thats my life story,
