My Mom died pretty suddenly last September. My cousin died in July. We were 18 months apart in age and very close. She was like a sister & best friend. Both deaths were from cancer. Both hit me pretty hard.

July 1st, we quit smoking.

New grandson, Michael, was born in August.

Bought a new van. It's pretty nice.

I guess we had a decent year. Things could always be better, but I guess they can always be much worse.

Ok, here's my greater details.....I'll go back 13 months....on June 10, 2005 I was sure I was having a stroke (loss of ability to speak, blacked out for abt 5 mins) went to the local e.r. and wasted 5 days in their ICU. I did have a nasty uti and diabetes complications.

Oh, my new $23K pwr chair, that I took delivery on March 15, 2005 was down for 17 weeks due to a defective seat design (pwr recline 4 seperate times).........after threatening invacare many times, they replaced the entire chair on May 4, 2006.

More rotten health details to follow very soon..........
 this past year....

This last year has been pretty eventful for me. I resigned my job in August 2005, found out I was pregnant in September, we started our home building/remodeling project in May, had our son "Cole" in June and here we are in July! So it's been a great last year for me. :)

...to end w/ the bad health thing...I was hospitalized 4 times in the previous year.

I learned that I have sleep apnea and use c-pap machine @ night. Not all bad tho...my butt sore probs have cleared up.

In May 2006, a close cousin, 44 yrs young, died in a violent head-on crash.

KEEP ON ROCKIN IN THE FREE WORLD!

My NUTShell seemed kinda large....LMCAO

I guess everyone has "ups and downs" in life. Deaths, births, the never ending cycle of life.

Candy & I also just finished another stage of remodel on the house. It's a stressful time, I think being crip kinda of exasperates it even further when your stuff you need is moved or missing. :) But we were lucky, our contractor was very nice, very flexible to our schedule and he did a nice job. The major drawback to remodeling is when it's done and you start noticing how other rooms need fresh paint, lol. It never ends...
