The world of Atles is a fantasy world with light science fiction and steampunk tones. Because of that, standard fantasy races are normal. Elves and Dwarves are found in the world, alongside other races. An anthropomorphic race would be referred to as a Beastman. Other races can be worked out as well, as long as they fit in the setting and are not too ridiculous. The standard character application is this: Character Name: Age: Race: (Human, Elf, Dwarf, Beastman, etc) Gender: Skills: Abilities(includes Magic): Personality: (1 paragraph minimum) History: (2 paragraph minimum) Equipment: Please take note that the paragraph minimums will be enforced. Also, characters who appear too powerful (having godlike abilities, being unbeatable, etc) will be denied. This guide is meant mainly to give you an idea of races. If you have your own ideas, feel free to ask! Humans: Basic brownie race. Doesn't excel anywhere, but tends to be an all around race. Elves: Good at magic, bad at combat for the most part. Makes good mages and archers. Dwarves: Miners. Dwarves are found in the crater and the mountains for the most part, but some are merchants and traders. Good at fighting, not so great at magic. Beastmen: Humanoids who have animalistic traits. Usually have great skills for roguish characters or warriors. Equintzi: An equine sub-species of Beastmen, known for their organization, large city, and library which is rumored to have held many world prophecies before they've come to pass.
