[Delete] | At lumpy's request I'm making a thread. I'm thinking for ALL planned RP's but if that doesn't work out, whatever. It'll at least be for this announcement:
This Friday (September 23rd) starting at 9 there will be a planned RP. It's not a closed-RP, or anything. If anyone wants to get involved, go for it.
At 9:30 the Brotherhood of Mutants will be attacking Irontech.

However, a question.
9pm? That EST or...y'know, I don't even know the west-coast timezone. Either way, 9pm EST is like 2am GMT which is the timezone I'm in, an' since 've got work at 11am on the Saturday, if I manage to make an appearence, it will be a brief one :-(
On the upside, 'm letting my Boss know I'm quitting this evening, so in about a week or so all my work troubles will be over!
...an' I'll just have the crushing despair of my Uni coursework problems to deal with O.o'
Anyway, since this is a thread for scheduled Rp's I'd like to put forward an idea.
Ok, so some of the most enjoyable Rp's 've been involved in have been attacks on the Mansion. Now I know that the old administration were getting a little tired of un-scheduled attacks on the mansion that left the place in ruins & subsequently had to be wiped from the 'RP continuity' as it were. With that in mind however, how's about this?
The mansion staff know that the building is a prime-target for all the wackos an' nut-jobs of the Marvel Universe (and a few products of our own RP'ers twisted minds :-P), and as such, I reckon they'd begin drills or emergency procedure practice.
What I'm suggesting is that every now & then, we schedule a mock-attack on the mansion. An attack that will essentially be carried out by friendly characters, simply to test the defences and readyness of residents. No damage to the structure of the building needs to take place, and similarly no-one should be afraid of getting involved for fear of their character's demise, as, there shouldn't be any deaths.
If everyone enjoys events like it, we could eventually start upping the ante, friendly characters that attack the mansion might have been secretly plotting something, or hostile characters might use the mock-attack as a distraction & launch an attack of their own.
Who knows?
Anyway, that sound like a good idea to anyone? |
