Hours later, small meteorites began falling to earth, most smaller than a human fist, and all blackened by the fall through the atmosphere. Scientists say they're composed of bizarre alloys and strange new metals. Some conspiracy theorists are linking this event to the continued sightings of strange yellow creatures, and the most recent encounter with a tall green-skinned creature with yellow eyes and blue hair, incapable of speaking English. NAJHIB'S OOC NOTE: Just taking a needed break. Don't worry about Akima, she got safely transported to her room at the Mansion before the ship exploded, and Najhib is lost somewhere in New Jersey.

You'll see their pictures on your screen. James Tanner, Alex Vasquez, and David Cloutier were last seen leaving their high school after a football game. If you have any information, please call the number on the screen or your local police department.
Mutant Registration Act Passed

We have just received news that President Carson was successful in passing the laws for the new Mutant Registration act through congress. The laws state that everyone is to be tested for the mutant gene, with everyone being ordered to report to their nearest medical facility to undergo the test. Once the test has been administered, you will receive a small certificate stating that you have undergone the test. President Carson's spokesman has stated that action will be taken against those who refuse to take the mutant test. This has been James Armand for CNN News. Venom 3:44pm, November 10, 2005 [Edit] [Delete]	*The news announcer comes on, with a saddened face* Tragic news for the families of two young boys. 9 year-old Timmy Alvarado and 11 year-old Nick Buccelli have been found, dead, in an alley in the Harlem area. *The footage rolls of officials and police officers cordoning off the area in the alley as reporters try to get better looks and onlookers have their hands over their mouths* Their bodies were naked and bloody, and investigators are currently trying to find any evidence of the identity of the killer. The two children went missing last month around Halloween. *The footage ends and the feed goes back to the newsroom, showing the anchor looking off-camera with a sullen look. He glances to his co-anchors* That's some sad news, that's--. *They move on to the next story*
Devastation in downtown NYC
James Armand 5:06pm, November 19, 2005 [Edit] [Delete]	Breaking news - Downtown New York was devastated earlier this afternoon. Unfortunately we have no footage of the actual event, however evidence would suggest that either we have a copy-cat on our hands, or even worse...The crazed killer known as Dosu is back. *The camera cuts to a shot from the top of a building, looking down at the street below. The letters D O S U are spelled out by needle-like shards of metal imbedded in the concrete. The damage surrounding the eerie message is extensive. There's a large crater with a ruined police cruiser nearby, and a hole in the side of the building across the street (and that's only what's in shot). The screen cuts back to the newscaster.* Eyewitnesses claim that after appearing from no-where, a man wrapped in bandages created havok by attacking innocent civilians, seemingly at random, before turning his ire on the law enforcement officers as they attempted to subdue him. Only after the intervention by an as-yet unidentified vigilantee, were they free to make their escape. The police department has yet to make a formal statement on the matter. Let us pray that Dosu has not returned.
Dosu's ass whooping

Last night, Dosu's return was concluded as true, as Dosu began killing innocent lives on the street. But thankfully, a mutant calling himself COlossus stepped in to fight for innocent lives, and repelled Dosu back from innocents. If you have any information on this man *cue a picture of Colossus on the side of the screen* Police are asking for information. He is wanted for questioning about Dosu, and also to receieve an award. If you have any information please call 555-help. that's 555-4357
Aardvark 9:30pm, June 25, 2006 [Edit] [Delete]	The Cinemax 50 theater collapsed last night shortly after mutant criminal Magneto and an unnamed accomplice massacred several police officers outside the establishment. Five people have minor wounds and one unidentified individual is in critical condition. If you have any information as to the identity of the girl on your screen, please contact .
Attack on Lockridge
James Armand 10:24pm, June 27, 2006 [Edit] [Delete]	With the death toll reaching nearly 200, it's safe to say that this attack was directed on the mutant population of the town of Lockridge, NY. Witnesses say that three aircraft flew over the small town and dropped the deadly gas into the middle of the plaza. Once rescue works arrived there was no trace of the gas left, however it had taken it's toll. With a great number of the deaths being children, Lockridge has suffered a very emotional blow. This gas was clearly aimed at the mutant population for no one other than the mutants have died. Witnesses say, it was a horrible sight to watch. Both children and adults were unable to breath, then simply found their mutations fading away as they coughed up blood. The town of Lockridge is now closed off from the public, it has become a contamination zone. Accusations have been flying towards President Carson, many mutants claiming he was responsible for the attack. President Carson had this to say: "I can understand why the American public would think that I was behind this attack, however in truth that is not the case. As we have just learned, it was in fact a man who calls himself Dosu who conducted this attack. This man is insane and is not to be approached if you see him. My heart goes out to the families of Lockridge, and I give my word this madman will be brought to justice. Thank you very much." The only question which has yet to be answered is how did this Man manage to steal three stealth bombers from a secure Air Force base. James Armand 4:22am, June 28, 2006 [Edit] [Delete]	We have just recieved word that during the theft of the three jets from the Air Force base, one officer and two pilots were killed in the attempt to stop this high jacking. Their bodies were recently discovered shoved inside of a hanger locker. Due to the discovery of these bodies it is believed that someone did manage to break onto the base and steal the jets. The question now becomes, was this done by humans working for President Carson, or by mutants who were working for Dosu.
Mexican President Killed in Coup!

Explosions and politcal upheaval today in Mexico City, Mexico, when militants and Mexican military working together attacked the Mexican city and gained control. The leader of these rebels uh *lifts up the piece of paper squinting his eyes reading* Inigo Montoya made a statement immediately after the attack apparently ceased. Here is an excerpt from his speech.. *a video plays of Mystique who looks like the man now known as Inigo Montoya speaking, "It is regretful that in the actions we took innocent lives had to be lost for this transition to occur, but I assure you my brothers that it is all for the better. From now on we will be a strong Mexico, a leader in industry and a new world power to be reckoned with! Starting immediately, I, Inigo Montoya, shall be your new leader. I will not take the title of El Presidente. That title has long since lost it’s power and dignity in this country. If anything you shall call me Hermano Montoya." and it goes back to James* The international community, as well as the worldwide market, are reeling somewhat from this. Due to the sudden shift the price of gas skyrocketed, while other markets dropped. The U.N. Security Council has been called to an emergency meeting to help decide if they should take action or not. James Armand 8:48pm, July 22, 2006 [Edit] [Delete]	From October 11, 2005:: The Election Well folks it's that time again, the time where people actually have to make a decision that will effect the direction of our country. John Avard and Alexander Carson are the two men favored in the Presidential Race this year as most people already know and they couldn't be more drastically different. While Avard is a tolerant supporter of the mutant kind, Carson is determined to see that problem taken care of. He is a strong supporter of the mutant registration act and there is no doubt that if he comes into the position of power, he will make sure to see it through. Alexander Carson, is one of New York's Senators and the youngest male to ever run for the position of President. His goals center around making the country a safer place for the youth, and I personally have no doubts that he will be able to do it. After the death of his only daughter, Carson and his wife have made great strides to removing the mutant population from schools and neighborhoods. While his methods are nonviolent, they seem to get the job done as he has a great number of supporters backing him. So listen in to the debates, make your choice and head to the polls! From October 21, 2005:: The Presidential Election Well folks the polls are in and as predicted through the entire campaign, Alexander Carson has won the presidential election. With his staggering victory over John Avard, Alexander Carson will now take over the roll as the President of the United States of America. His Anti-mutant views seemed to have won the hearts of many Americans as he gave his word to "deal" with the problem. The one thing on everyone's mind though is how exactly Carson plans to take care of the mutant problem as he has not indulged the information, he has simply said that he does like the idea of reinforcing the mutant registration act. Alexander Carson moved into the White House this afternoon and will be giving his Inaugural address to the nation this evening. From October 25, 2005:: Ice-Cream Store Destroyed in Mutant Fight *Scene is set, large crowd gathered in front of the ice-cream store* Yes, thank you Tom. I'm down here at what used to be Giovanni's Ice-Creams and Gelatos where it is believed that another mutant attack has taken place. As you can see, the entire shop has been absolutely ravaged. The shop window has been completely destroyed, chairs and tables broken, the walls damaged, it's been complete turmoil down here for the past couple of hours as the police conduct their investigations. Witnesses have told police that the mutant entered the shop with a young little girl around the age of 4 or so, and shortly after, an unknown person crashed through the shop's window and that's when things began to happen. Everything from the bright sparks of lightning to the intense heat of fireballs were exchanged, as well as some heavy brawling and punching. After approximately 15 minutes, another woman arrived on the scene, and carried both the little girl and the mutant out of the shop. The mutant looked a little worse for wear, appearing to have some bad cuts to the forehead and to the arm, and also sustaining some burns to his shirt. It is unknown as to where he was taken, but we are doing everything we can to find out what was going on. The body of an unidentified male was found in the middle of the shop, and the body has been identified as the original person who threw himself through the shop's window to start the encounter. From October 25, 2005:: Supreme Court Disaster ...and the actions have left the supreme court quite in a state of shock. Justice Marsha K. Ternus and Chief Justice Louis A. Lavorato were murdered last night in another mutant attack at Kenji's Steak House in Washington DC. Speculation is that they had a dinner date with President Carson, who arrived at the scene nearly 45 minutes late for the meeting. Had the President been there, it is almost certain he would have been killed as well. Witnesses report a middle aged man standing outside the restaurant blasting fire balls from his hands into the room. The fire spread quickly given the nature of the restaurant and the entire building exploded before anyone had a chance to get out. President Carson was said to have been appalled at yet another mutant attack, this one directed towards himself. He quoted having said, "This is what I have been trying to show everyone, the true nature of these mutants. We are not safe in this country, and we will not be until something is done. Our rights to live in peace is being threatened every day by these creatures, they must be stopped." From October 25, 2005:: F.B.I. Confirms Alien Sighting The F.B.I. today released a photo of what they're calling a "nonhuman" life form that was spotted in Central Park. They are hesitant to call it an extraterrestrial, and are suggesting that it may be a mutant that has evolved past the genus "Homo", but are not excluding the possibility that it might of alien nature. This is the original photo, taken by Julliane Sommers of Statan Island. She reported that four yellow creatures materialized, and one engaged a human, believed to be a mutant, in combat with strange technology. Ms Sommers managed to remain undetected as the battle took place, and she reports that the humanoid fought back the non-humanoid, who then disappeared as suddenly as they appeared. This is a closeup of the creature. Critics say that the photo could be forged and that Ms Sommers is not a reliable witness, but federal officers are vouching for its authenticity. Developments as they happen. From June 3, 2005:: President Carson Speaks on the World Mutant Problem President Carson smiled as he stood with a group of leaders from around the world. They had just finished a major conference in which President Carson had explained his plan to the others on what he was going to do with the mutant population of America. After hardly much deliberation at all the other leaders had decided to join president Carson in his plan. Mutant registration acts are now being put into motion throughout the world. And the mutants who refuse to register are being thrown into special prisions. Of course there are reports that many of the mutants that have been placed into these prisons are dissapearing. What is happeing to these mutants and where they are going is anyone's guess. For now President Carson is in constant contact with the leaders of these other countries as they work on the second phase of the Plan to help the mutants of the world. Reply from Magneto: As leader of Genosha, one man refused to enact the mutant registration act. Magneto. HE furthercalled for the act to be pulled back, under threats of war with America. Reply from Pres. Carson: To shorten the response, President Carson pretty much responded with "Bring it on" to the government of Genosha. He has enough backing that should a war start, it would end just as quickly as it began.
