- Respect everyone in this chat.
This shouldn’t even NEED to be said. However, it is clear that some people don’t understand the importance of this rule. EVERYONE is to be treated with respect in this chat, not just admins. Any insults, derogatory terms, or attacks on another chatter is a banable offense. If an admin or a mod gives you a warning first, I would take it, as they are being extremely nice by not banning you outright.
- Keep all IRL problems/other chat issues/personal grudges OUT of the chat.
IRL- I understand that sometimes life can get you down and all you ask is for a little sympathy. Granted, as friends, we are here to give it, however, we would appreciate any depressing/angry rants remain outside of the chat and on AIM where it belongs. Rants often bring down the energy of the room and kill it for the night. We hope that this chat is a way to ESCAPE said energy, and it would be much appreciated.
Other Chat Issues- Yes, we are a part of a giant chat portal dealing with many other chats and sometimes other chats can rub you the wrong way. HOWEVER, due to issues in the past, we would LOVE it if you keep any rants, raves, or anything else dealing with other chats(including, but not limited to the other Marvel chats) out of this chat.
Personal Grudges- I don’t care if another chatter took your puppy and threw it over a cliff, ANY grudges you might have over another user stays OUT of this chat. Period.
- No arguments.
Debates are a wonderful way to get to know other people’s opinions on things, and we encourage having discussions about issues happening in the outside world. However, the moment a debate turns into an argument and seems to not be going anywhere, you will be asked to stop.
- No Password/Handle Stealing.
THIS IS A NO WARNING PERM BAN! If you have ways to obtain other’s passwords, good for you. However, if you are to utilize this talent, hack into another’s handle(ANY HANDLE, Not JUST admin), YOU WILL BE PERM BANNED FROM THIS CHAT. If you change your IP, we will ban THAT handle as well and report you to Tino. This is a serious issue. This is something you just do NOT do. And so, punishment is severe.
- HAVE FUN!
We are all here mainly to have fun and escape reality. We are here to involve ourselves in a world we all have come to know and love over our lives, and so, please, come in here with an open mind, a good disposition, and a love for X-Men and RPing!

Rules for Role Playing
- No God Moding.
Despite this chat taking place in a world where the impossible can happen...does not mean that it WILL happen. If in an instance where you are ruled as god moding, the Admins and Mods have final say on the outcome of a dispute. Do NOT get angry if a fight does not go your way due to an admin ruling. We will try our best to rule fairly in a manner that will be equally beneficial to both parties.
- No Killing a Character without Players Permission.
I know how incredibly tempting it is to just out a character you don’t like...but as it’s been an unwritten rule since the beginnings of Wildman’s chats, you cannot even harm a character, much less kill them, without the acceptance of the character’s player. We take out all the fun, don’t we?
- Discern Between OOC and IC
This is more of a courtesy thing then an actual rule. Because some people have strange ways of Role Playing(I mean any other way outside of the “Actions in Asterixs” method), if you are not under an OOC handle(it’s easy to tell which handles are OOC and which ones are not), please use parenthesis to speak in OOC.
- Don’t Interfere in Planned RPs.
If people are RPing in chat and you want to join in, just make sure that RPs that you want to jump in on are not private pre-planned RPs. Some people might let you join in, but don’t get upset if they don’t. Also, don’t interfere in a pre-planned RP, even if you have a small part of said RP. If something happens to a character that isn’t yours, and you don’t agree with it, keep in mind that what was done to said character was something the player agreed with and planned.

Registration.
Canon Characters
If there is a canon character that you wish to play, please check the complete Userlist here: http://pjj.cc/xf/register/biglist.php
If the canon character is not listed on this list, then you are free to send in a registration form.
Canon characters have a TRIAL time. Once we register the character for you(depending on the knowledge you typed in the registration form), you have two weeks to try the character out. If by that time we do not believe your depiction of the character is accurate, we have the right to take the character away. If you convince us, the character is yours until you wish to pass on the mantle.
DISCLAIMER!: We admins have the right to take away a canon character at ANY TIME.

Lost Passwords/Deletion of Characters
If you ever accidentally lose your password, feel free to E-Mail me (once again, Jayamichan@yahoo.com), and I will reset your password.
If you ever want a character deleted, it’s the same as above...simply E-Mail me, and I will delete your character.
However, you MUST let me know in some manner that it is you(though I’m pretty sure I know who plays who.)

Playing Unregistered
Playing unregistered is allowed, but you are not allowed to use your powers in any way, shape, or form until you have been registered by Remy. Do not mention your powers in any context at all either. If you do, you will be subject to penalty of NOT getting your character at all, as well as massive questioning by the unwashed and very vicious masses of X-Mansion Future...and be warned: WE ARE ASSHOLES.

Hopefully this will help people understand why we admin the way we admin, and what they should understand, written down or not. This is here because in the past, we admins have been ridiculed and our rulings challenged. Now that I have these rules witten down, I dare anyone to say we’ve ever been in the wrong in any rulings we have made.
I hope this makes things clear, and makes RPing in this chat more pleasant and enjoyable for all of us.
