Yes, I hate to do it. I always hate to do it.
BUT like any major retailer, when there's a surplus of something its gotta go.

-Electricity
-Animating Inanimate Objects
-GOD

Pretty self explanatory, but I'll elaborate on the last one there just a bit. GOD or godlike characters. Not sayin there's a cap on Norse Myth Gods or other dimensional canons or anything, just the creation of characters that have virtually no weaknesses, or are powered up enough that they may as well not have any. -This is acceptable if someone's wanting to create a villain intended to be long standing and a constant source of strife against the good guys, but as it stands there are far too many over-powered good guys and a deficit of well, any villains.

There are some good questions to ask when developing a character.
-What are their weaknesses?
-Are they good natured or self serving?
-Do they have the mental stability to shoulder their powers/responsibility?
-If you were someone else, would YOU want to RP in a fight against that character?
-Have I gone too far?

If anyone else has any recommendations for good questions/links/suggestions for character development please post in reply.

Animating Inanimate Objects

Can you please go a bit further in depth on this? I really can't think of ANY characters that do this. Does this fall under the God category? Are you going to apply this to both inactive and active characters?

I am just curious, not trying to cause a fuss or be a dick. I've browsed characters before and I just don't really remember anyone using that power, active or inactive.
