Most of you guys probably know the basic set up with rules. But for formalities, here they are.

Chat Rules -

1. Do not argue with the Administration or the Storytellers. We reserve the right to refuse service to unruly players.

2. Do not bring OOC issues into the chat. That is to say do not bring your fight from another chat into Mordheim or your spat with someone on AIM into Mordheim. If you do you may be warned or banned.

3. OOC, RP and Respect. Please be respectful of each other. Some people come here to rp, some people come here to OOC chat. There is no reason to shun one for the other. If there is a problem with OOC interfering with RP, please let the Administrator *PM Kael* or one of the Storytellers *PM Storyteller*

4. Profanity and Explicit Material is all part of the R rating. Swearing is fine however try to keep it to a moderate level at its height. Likewise if your character is about to get laid and you feel it absolutely necessary to role play it out take it to PM or to a Private Messenger Service.

5. The Rules are subject to change when problems arise and the Administration is required to make snap decisions. Be aware.

Roleplaying Rules -

1. Do not Mode. This is the big one. The mother of free form role playing rules. Do not call hits on your opponents, do not magically dodge or fall out of the way of every attack, do not use OOC information that your character would have no way of knowing and do not slip on a banana peal that is randomly placed on the battle field while fighting an opponent.

* Clarification - Or any other form of fruit skin.

2. Respect the Posting Order.

3. If your character is going to do something rather large, like over throw a large portion of the Mordheim, please pm the Administrator or one of the Storytellers before doing it. We need to know what is going on in Mordheim with major plots so we can adjust accordingly.

4. Please have a profile within 1 month of registering your characters with the information required for your application on it. Specifically the history of your character, particularly if you have any magical items. This is to avoid any confusion or communication problems between staff and players.

6. Followers: Each player may, if they so desire, have up to 12 followers of lesser or specified skill, should it make sense of course to have them. A blacksmith, for example, might have 3 assistants while a mercenary captain might have a retinue of 12 able bodied fighters. A noble might have an entourage of 2 servants, 4 bodyguards and 1 herald. These followers should be accounted for in your application as well as a good reason for having them.

7. Large Scale Battles: If a player wishes to run a large battle scene within Mordheim that utilizes more followers then they have(See Followers rule above) they must first receive permission from an Administrator. This is done to ensure that everyone has a chance to respond and no one faction can materialize more forces then are available to them. If this is involving a plot development with something a player has submitted it is probably still a good idea to ask an Administrator so that they can prepare for any questions other players may have, thus keeping the chat scroll clean.

I.e. if two players are involving their characters, they must ask permission if the NPCs are more then 24, if three are involved more then 36, etc, etc.

Thank you for reading and if you have any questions pleae feel free to ask an Administrator for help!
