Welcome to the Spell Section!

The following spells are examples of the power levels of each teir as well as examples of what each of the God's Lores centers around.

Any spells marked with the lore Any are learned by all the different lores and thus are not specific to any one.

We encourage players to submit for new spell ideas for review by the staff to add to this list. Please use the following set up when submitting for a new spell.

Name: The is the Name of your spell?
Tier: What level tier is the spell?
Lore: What Lore is your spell from?
Description: What is your spell exactly and what effects does it have?

Basic tier information.

Tier 1 - Minor spells for priests used mostly in their day to day lives. These range from mundane spells to useful utilitarian spells.

Tier 2 - These are the more harder hitting Priestly spells and see their fair share of use. They are obviously more powerful then Tier 1 spells and should be used carefully.

Tier 3 - The most powerful of the Priestly Spells, the Tier 3 spells are used only in case of emergency in many circles. The dangers of upsetting your God is pricey indeed for those Priests who call upon their God's attention to frequently.

Name: Blessing of Courage
Tier: 1
Lore: Any
Description: The inspirational words of the caster fill those around them with courage against seemingly insurmountable odds. This boost lasts for an hour.

Name: Blessing of Fortitude
Tier: 1
Lore: Any
Description: The touch of the caster strengthens the resolve of the target allowing them to press on when physically and emotionally exhausted. This boost lasts for an hour.

Name: Blessing of Healing
Tier: 1
Lore: Any
Description: The touch of the caster closes minor wounds and can help to stabilize someone who is severely wounded however it does not fix any broken bones or internal injuries nor does it cure any diseases.

Name: Blessing of Might
Tier: 1
Lore: Any
Description: The touch of the caster grants the target enhanced physical strength in order to be strong for any uncoming challenges. This boost lasts for an hour.

Name: Blessing of Protection
Tier: 1
Lore: Any
Description: The caster blesses a near by target with the protection of their god making them an extremely unappealing target to those of weak will or mind. Characters are less likely to focus on this character for fear of retribution from the God unless they are, themselves, struck first by the character at which point the protection vanishes.

Tier: 1
Lore: Any
Description: The touch of the caster grants a target enhanced speed which allows them to move more gracefully and with more skill. This lasts for one hour.

Name: Blessing of Mannan
Tier: 1
Lore: Lore of Mannan
Description: The target of this spell may hold their breath for 1 minute on top of whatever natural ability they have t hold their breath.

Name: Blessing of the Mariner
Tier: 1
Lore: Lore of Mannan
Description: The target of this spell becomes particularly good at rowing, sailing and swimming even if they are untrained in the skill.

Lore: Lore of Morr
Description: The target of this spell is granted an understanding of the pitiful plight of the undead rendering them incapable of feeling any unnatural fear given off by the undead.

Name: Blessing of Passage
Tier: 1
Lore: Lore of Morr
Description: The priest invokes the bellsing of Morr to extand the God’s outrage at the presence of Undead. Any weapon the character wields counts as magic for the purposes of harming Undead opponents by passing most supernatural defenses the Undead has.

Description: The priests Passionate prayers fill a single target with righteous fury increasing their ability to hit their opponents.

Lore: Lore of Myrmidia
Description: The priest blesses a target with this spell causing them to have the profound combat insight of Myrmidia herself. The character is able to deflect or avoid the next blow made against them with the grace of the Goddess of War herself.

Lore: Lore of Ranald
Description: The priest blesses a target with the luck of Ranald. This character will find things are a little easier for a moment such finding a gold coin on the ground in the next moment, winning a hand of cards or stumbling out of the way of an arrow.

Lore: Lore of Ranald
Description: The priest blesses a target with Ranald’s favor. The character finds that he is able to pick the next non-magical lock he attempts to open as if he had the key to it.

Name: Blessing of Calm
Tier: 1
Lore: Lore of Shallya
Description: The soothing voice of the caster calms a target who is in hestarics or for whom might have become struck with madness. This can also be used to calm those who are experiencing great pain or suffering.

Lore: Lore of Shallya
Description: The touch of the caster helps the body to recover faster from both wounds and diseases quickening the time one needs to remain in care. This also elevates the pain the patient is feeling.

Name: Blessing of Sigmar
Tier: 1
Lore: Lore of Sigmar
Description: The Priest invokes Sigmar’s name to infuse their hammer with his glory. The hammer becomes an instrument of that god striking with more force then the Priest could possible muster on his own.

Name: Blessing of Unification
Tier: 1
Lore: Lore of Sigmar
Description: The priest speaks of the ancient times when the Empire was first founded. The words bring out a feeling of Patriotism in any near by Imperial Born humans reminding them of their kinsmen and their fraternity with the Dwarves. A target Imperial Born Human may not strike another Imperial Born Human or Dwarf for 10 minutes.

Name: Blessing of the Hunter
Tier: 1
Lore: Lore of Taal
Description: The priest grants a target character the blessing of Taal. That character finds their senses improved considerably capable of tracking a target though some of the most difficult terrain based on sight, scent and hearing. This lasts for one hour.

Name: Blessing of Taal
Tier: 1
Lore: Lore of Taal
Description: The priest grants a target character the blessing of Taal’s survival. The character is able to survive even the harshest night in the wildness warm and safe from any natural enemies or naturally caused weather.

Name: Blessing of the Blood-Hand
Tier: 1
Lore: Lore of Ulric
Description: The priests furious prayers incite a blood rage in a near by character. They enter an uncontrollable frenzy, savagely seeking to destroy their enemies without regard to personal safety or the safety of those around them. They remain this way until their opponents lay dead at their feet. If there is no enemy near by when the spell is cast it lasts for one minute. While Frenzied characters may not communicate, rationalize or be calmed by non-magical means, acting purely on instinct and hatred. While frenzied nothing can scare or terrify the character.

Name: Blessing of Ulric
Tier: 1
Lore: Lore of Ulric
Description: The priest’s harsh words and roared prayer bless a character with Ulric’s savagery increasing their ability to wound an opponent. A minor cut scored, therefore, would split apart into a gapping wound, etc, etc.

Name: Blessing of Verena
Tier: 1
Lore: Lore of Verena
Description: The prayers of the priest focus on a near by character. For the next five minutes the character is unable to commit a crime in accordance to the laws (theft, murder, rape, etc, etc) but rather they will feel guilt for their past crimes.

Name: Blessing of Wisdom
Tier: 1
Lore: Lore of Verena
Description: The priests solemn prayer grants measured wisdom when attempting to discover a detail about something. The priest is able to focus more closely on a task dealing with knowledge more effectively such as suddenly realize what path they should take or what book they should read. This lasts for one minute.

Name: Anathema
Tier: 1
Lore: Any
Description: The priest echoes a small charm which stains the very soul of one near by target. Though it leaves no physical mark people around said character feel extremely uncomfortable and hostile toward the character. Generally this spell is used to exile individuals from communities. It does not work on the Undead for obvious reasons.

Name: Dormancy
Tier: 1
Lore: Any
Description: The caster is able to momentarily remove the magical characteristics of a near by item making it mundane for a few moments. This is usually done to dangerous magical artifacts in order to mark it or destroy it. It takes a full minute to cast and it only removes the property of the magical item for another minute. If the item is being used it takes another full minute to cast this spell.

Name: Great Preaching
Tier: 1
Lore: Any
Description: The priests voice can be clearly heard up to 500 yards away but it is not deafening, even to those standing near by. This spell lasts for as long as the speaker continues to speak ending if they do not utter a word for 10 seconds.
