Name: Holding the Middle Bridge

Plot Device: Those holding the Middle Bridge

Plot Description: The Middle Bridge is the most strategically important location in the city as it stands as the only primary method of traversing the river that separates the East and West sides of the city. The massive bridge is study and old, likely impossibly difficult to easily destroy with high towers on either side of the bridges entrances where able bodied defenders can take up defenses.

Currently the bridge is being held by the forces of Corbin Heart’s 771st Militia.

Plot Location: The Middle Bridge

Player Contact Information: Corbin Heart (Nate) is currently controlling the bridge at the moment. If you wish to assault the bridge you will need to contact him.

“The Middle Bridge? Ha! Some Bretonnian claimed it earlier. Heard Morr knocked on the bridge three times since and the fella hasn’t answered yet. Probably a good thing.. Probably gave the commander a few more weeks to sort out his affairs...” - Tavern Keeper in the Barracks

Name: A Touch of Madness

Plot Device: The Apostle and Morana Ardoch

Plot Description: Everyone knows that when you’re in a war torn area infection and disease is bound to happen particularly given the poor medical understanding most people have. However more recently refuges in the Execution Square north of the Temple of Morr have broken out with a rash of Blood Fever. Both the wounded and healthy have fallen victim to the disease which causes the victim to fall into a savage, blood thirsty insanity while they bleed from the eyes. This insidious diseases has been known to be transfered from victim to victim when infected blood touches uninfected blood.. but still it seems the infections cross these boundries..

Though many have been killed at the first signs of the madness and their bodies burnt it seems there is still some means for the disease to be spread. To make matters worse Chaos forces have been gathering in the East side of the river threatening to overtake the bridge.. Perhaps there is some kind of connection between the two?

Plot Location: The Execution Square

Player Contact Information:The Apostle (Eric) or Morana Ardoch (Faith) are currently running this plot line. Contact them if you are interested in investigating this mysterious illness.

“Oye.. We saw Otto go first. Twas our duty to putt’em down. Next was Fritz and the old man what came from Ostland, the blood fever overtakin‘ there senses. I don’t know what foul devilry is afoot but them damn witch hunters keep eyeing us all like fresh kindling for their fires..” - Wolfgang Zimmer

Name: The Thing in the River

Plot Device: Scylla

Plot Description: Rumors run rampant that there is something foul in the central river of Mordheim. Rumors of men being attacked as they cross the bridge or attempt to use boats to cross the river fill the taverns in the Barracks. Some describe a beautiful woman beckoning men to their deaths while other describe strange serpents or water logged wolves. However these rumors are also fueled by tails that the beast guards a secret cache of treasure which a brave soul or souls would claim if they were able to slay the beast..

Or maybe it is all poppycock. Only the brave, or foolish will know for sure.

Plot Location: Eastern Shoreline just north of the Bridge.

Player Contact Information: Scylla (Sahara)

“It had eye’s dat were redder then rubies with fangs sharper den ol’Tobbi’s knives. De say some’were in dat mess der’s a beautiful lass. Dunnat know much of dat but what I do knows is dat you won’t see me down by dat riverfront anytime soon.” - Mad Felmir, Town Idiot.

Name: The Unusual Merchant

Plot Device: Zyrall

Plot Description: Though it is easy for a member of the Forces of Order to head into the Barracks area on the West side of the city to retrieve supplies, assistance or equipment, those stranded in the city or unable to return find themselves in something of a quandary. They could try and locate food inside of one of the abandoned houses though this proposition is a grave one as there is no telling what chaos taint might have touched or spoiled it. Some less scrupulous individuals might even feed on the dead or kill others for their supplies but for those with an open mind and pockets there is.. And unusual merchant.

Spotted through the city, they say, is a small mutant shop keeper who runs a store out of his pack. Some dismiss this idea as farcical after all a Mutant is less then a man and obviously incapable of intelligent thought such as capitalism. Still, it is hard to ignore the fact that people in the city do seem to receive supplies without ever returning to any of the check points.. Will you find the Unusual Merchant?

Plot Location: Eastern corner of the Merchant's square in the chaos controlled area, Northern corner of the count's palace, and the area between the west part of the merchant square and east end of the bridge, smack in the middle of neutral territory

Items for sale:

Maps (hand drawn and in vivid detail. Generally of the entire city with the territorial borders, all current, drawn out. Zyrall gets around the city frequently, often ignoring these borders, by doing so, he is able to build a mental picture of who controls where. Likewise he offers maps of specific buildings, such as the merchant square, the great library, the amphitheatre and so on and so forth.)

Information: Zyrall is wonderful at sneaking into various places and watching and listening. He trades in information as simple as who is up to what, or can be contracted to gather specific information.

Portraits: Zyrall will sketch a portrait if requested once a deal is struck and goods exchanged, the price is cheap generally, free once a high value deal has been struck

Warpstones: Zyrall sells warpstones by a pre-order basis. He charges an extra 50percent finders fee in gathering them, however, those he gathers in such a manner are of the highest quality.

Specific Items: Zyrall can be contracted to search for and retrieve specific types of items or thing in general.

Food: gathered food from eggs, cheeses, meats, fruit, breads and others. All relatively fresh.

Z Jerky: Zyrall's own home cooked jerky, spiced with an exotic blend to really bring out the flavor. Where does he get the meat? Do you really want to know?

Gold, Jewelry, gems, etc: Zyrall typically carries a small amount of such items on him, and is willing to barter for things should people bring goods to his drop off points. Likewise Zyrall is fully willing to sell and trade stolen goods.

Player Contact Information: PM Zyrall if you wish to interact with the Merchant.

“Wot!? Grumdiggah, ur tradin wif dat stinka’ uhgain? Dem shinies ur uszan ain’t wort da loot, see?! If dat ‘eary little buggah comez back’round ‘ere, fetch me sharpish!” - Kruga Smashalot chastising a Goblin for trading with Zyrall
