What the PCs know from the Scorched Earth Campaign that may provide plot hooks:
1) Umbrella, Inc. and Albert Wesker in particular provided "Biological Specimens" for the Nazi Cultists on Scorched Earth, and Umbrella, Inc. has been dealing heavily with T.O. and Htrae in particular.
2) Ultratech, a major tech company and weapons manufacturer, was behind the designs for the Zeonite Weaponry used on Scorched Earth, and is working on things as disturbing as Zeonite Orbital Lasers. Their headquarters is currently on Htrae.
3)Decepticon refugees, like the Constructicons, ended up on Scorched Earth, having fled Cybertron when Unicron and his heralds took over. Metroplex was already on Scorched Earth for several decades, though dormant and his Spark split up by at this time, an unknown entity, who seemingly had enough power to simply attack Metroplex's Spark directly and shatter it. Metroplex's memory of the event is limited to that.
4) The areas of Chaos and Wild Magic on Scorched Earth are lessening now that the Nazi Cultists are not in charge. The best information the resitants were able to obtain though interrogation was that they were doing special rituals that required large numbers of them in one place, and sacrifices.
5) Vast sections of the midwestern United States on Scorched Earth were used as testing grounds for Zeonite Weaponry, Cult rituals and biological weapons trials. Armor found on one of the sites matches the armor that T.O.s Special Forces wear.
6) The Elder Sign was discovered by Doctor Henry Jones, and is now being used to protect key areas of Scorched Earth, and is already in place all over the Night Fury. The Elder Sign prevents any Old Ones or their servitors from approaching it, but regular - non-possessed - cultists are not effected by the sign.
7) T.O. Had a brief alliance with the Dalek race in the past, and currently build Cybermen to work with their shock troops. Rumor has it that there is a major Cybermen Factory on Htrae, but the location is a closely guarded secret.
Any ideas you have for 2 to 5 handle missions expounding on any of these facts or other related plot hooks would be appreciated.

To all outward appearances, there is not direct Cult influence here, despite our information. Officially, we are here to resupply and trade, so therefore, oddly enough our first few days here are going to be spent doing just that. Additional research will be conducted both by myself and a few key operatives in order to form mission details. In the meanwhile, feel free to explore the world, but do /not/ speak one word about the Cult on the planet. We do not want to tip our hand. This is going to be a covert operation, with specific targets. Stay tuned for mission details. In the meantime, act like this is a simple resupply and R&R trip. Message Repeats." [ The P.A. clicked off ] |

"...I'm well aware that they don't have to post a full list to the public records. Arrange a search or something... Contraband suspected I don't know... This is what I pay you to do, come up with something... Come up with some reason... Frozetan rebels, DWTO... seriously is it that hard?" Another long pause then, "...that's better. And get me more information on this... Governess. I'm willing to bet she's got origins at Galifrey... No, you idiot, they're only mostly extinct... within 72 hours and you get a bonus. Take twice that long and I'll write you a nice letter of reference for your next job, got it?" A final pause then, "...I'm glad we could see eye to eye... pay who you need to, and report the expenses as advertising as usual... Good, then I'll be looking forward to your speedy report. Have a ♬ wonderful day! ♬ " Darren tapped the mid-air projected screen and it collapsed into nothing. "Seriously, am I the only one with brains around here?" He huffed and leaned back in his office chair. "I don't know why you are here, but I sure as Hell am going to find out." He tapped a second midair screen in front of him and brought up an image.
