[Delete] | December 9th, 1905: the first outbreak of The Plague.
Suddenly the dead rises from their graves, hungering for the flesh of the living.
Millions die worldwide as the ravenous hordes of the animates scour the earth, however that is not the worst part.
The Plague spreads across the globe, infecting people everywhere
200 years have gone by since that dark day, but the animates still remain, the plague still haunts every waking hour, and new horrors lurk in the dark.
Do you dare enter The Unhallowed Metropolis?
When you have entered The Unhallowed Metropolis, there is the question about who you are...
Are you a Blue-blooded Aristocrat?
Inbred, with physical defects, yet with influence over all reaches of society, capable of getting word to even the Queen and with more money than anyone else.
Or are you a Low-born Criminal?
Born in the slums of London, with barely enough money to survive, yet with contacts throughout the underground, capable of even gaining access to anywhere, even the aristocraty for a short period of time.
Or a Doctor?
A mad scientist in search for the answer to the animates, or perhaps the riddle of immortality, whatever he is searching for, he is respected and feared throughout the neo-victorian society.
Or perhaps you are a Mourner?
A trained watcher of the dead, waiting patiently for the resting period to be over, or to quickly dispatch the rising animate if the dearly departed turns, well respected and highly educated.
Or an Undertaker?
A grizzled war veteran, a bounty hunter, or simply someone with nothing to lose and a grudge against the animates, they are the frontline soldiers in the war against the horrors of the world.
