In order to combat the fabled Moctezuma's Revenge the Mexican Government has taken the initiative to create what they feel was an antibiotic for the water systems in Mexico. Little did they know they were breeding what would become the first of them--zombies. The antibiotic was placed in the Mexican water system in September 2020. The antibody entered their bodies and infected their minds. 100's were rushed to local hospitals before finally dying, Doctors still weren't sure what of. Within 3 hours of death all had woken up once more, but they were extremely different. No vital signs were present, there was nothing to say they were alive but they moved and were vicious, scratching and biting into people. Eventually they would all become like the first.. zombies. Now the plague has spread to South America, Cuba, Jamaice, Puerto Rico, Africa, India and are now entering the southern portions of the United States along the Mexican border (As of March 2021). Many other countries like Russia, England, China and all of Europe and northern Africa have closed all their borders and ports in efforts to slow the spreading of the disease but it is only a matter of time...
Present Day: October 2021-
As you can tell the infection has spread like wildfire throughout the rest of the world despite the efforts of the various nations in the world. God help us all.
