Lou Crowley will be throwing a Halloween/Birthday party (his birthday). All his friends are invited, and encouraged to bring a date and some friends.

WHERE: Merlotte's Bar and Grill
WHEN: October 31st, 2009, 7:00 PM to MIDNIGHT

Birthday gifts optional
Costume optional, but encouraged

refreshments will consist of (only, alas) True Blood for vampires, and various mixed drinks (alcoholic, some non-alcoholic) for the humans.
Some of the more fanciful drinks prepared:
Cafe brulot
Hot Irish Whiskey Toddy

Food items to be found (thus far) (note all the sweet items, since it's assumed that human guests will have had a legitimate dinner/meal beforehand)
Glazed pumpkin birthday cake
Brownie cupcakes with a milk chocolate ganache.
Wild berry soup ( Think soup for dessert! A cold, sweet soup made with ginger, honey, orange juice, and an ample amount of strawberries, blueberries, boysenberries, blackberries, and raspberries, with fresh, whole berries as garnish)

Currently planned festivities
Dancing
live music provided by The Awesome Irishman, Nolan Murphy.
Darts
Karaoke
STILL NEED MORE IDEAS

More details to come.

I realize some of us will probably be busy on Halloween itself and won't be able to rp, but would still like to engage in the scene. So we have a wee bit of time to plan things out; I figure maybe we could do the actual scene a few days before, or a few days after Halloween, you know?

Would appreciate feedback on this from everyone. I want to ensure good rp times for all.*L* Maybe we can all agree on a set date and time for the scene?

Also, suggestions for activities, because I have none.

Why don't you have the "party" time valid from like the 30th to the first (or something)? So people can get on and play it at any point during the 3-ish day stretch?

So for anyone wanting to play a scene at Lou's Halloween party, their is a special "Halloween" icon to indicate you're in that scene.
