Any HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and such tags can be used on the board.Thread for CSS?

Rave 2:39am, September 05, 2002 [Edit] [Delete] | Tino, did you change something that disallowed the use of CSS files in the MotDs? They don´t seem to be working now, and also, users with netscape get locked out of pJJ rooms if there is a link rel tag.
I´d also like to know if it is possible, or would be possible with a future update, to add CSS files to the input (bottom) and avatar (righthand side) frames. To give the entire chat a sort of uniform color scheme.
Thanks for everything, Jez.

| Not advised |
Jezral 12:59pm, September 05, 2002 [Edit] [Delete] | I strongly advise agaist using link tags, but I have not enforced anything against them.
CSS is made so that the page won´t show until the CSS file is loaded, so having a remote CSS file will slow down chatters refresh time dramatically.
Instead, put the CSS into the MotD as normal style tags.
Using CSS in the other frames is not directly possible at the moment, but maybe in a future version.

I hadn´t considered the loading time factor for remote CSS links.
Thanks, Tino.
