Luke 1:47am, February 23, 2005 [Edit] [Delete] | Sorry for the weird heading, but I was just listening to the Beastie Boys...
I'm just letting you guys know of a new location for the RP, the Exnaar system. Consists of eight planets, all named numerically. Two planets can sustain life normally, III and VII.
There is potential for other planets to be terraformed and habitated (mainly V and VI). Exnaar V has an atmosphere and the air is breathable, but the conditions are very severe. Exnaar VI has no atmosphere, but with a terraforming group, the planet could sustain life.
When I've completed the images for all of them, then I'll shove them up here.
UPDATE: PLANET VALLERA, COMING SOON.

Did you create the Exnaar system, or is it from the EU and I'm just unable to find any information regarding it? |

Planets |
Luke 3:18am, February 24, 2005 [Edit] [Delete] |
Terrain: Gas
Uninhabitable
The atmosphere of this purple gas giant contains gases so reactive, that it sets off a constant chain of explosions, which can be seen from a great distance in the form of a bright light.
Terrain: Volcanic Rock/Magma
Uninhabitable
The planet is a constant volcanic eruption, with lava flowing over the planet's surface every minute. The heat generated out of this planet could power an entire planet, if only there was a way to harness it's energy.
Terrain: Mountains, Canyons, Underground Rivers and Oceans
Habitable
The diverse network of underground rivers and oceans make this planet sustainable for life. Because of its proximity to Exnaar II, one side is always hot. Also, at a certain time of the year and at a certain location on the planet, the constant explosions from Exnaar I can be heard.
Terrain: Gas
Uninhabitable
Once thought to be an all water planet, it is believed that the entire core heated up to such a temperature, that the water content of the planet was rapidly evaporated and converted into gas form. Also, the asteroid ring that surrounds the planet used to be that of the moon, Gilcon, which was volcanically active, and exploded when its core got too high in temperature.
Terrain: Ice
Habitable
This planet is similar to Hoth, but the temperatures are greater and the strength of the blizzards are much more severe. The only kind of animal that could survive these conditions is the wampa, but even they would have trouble in such conditions.
Terrain: Rock
Uninhabitable (but has the potential to be terraformed)
Once the moon of Exnaar III, this rock planet was thrown from the orbit of the planet from the explosion of the moon that used to orbit Exnaar IV, and is now on its own.
Terrain: Ocean, Forest, and Plains
Habitable
The planet contains the oceans of Kamino, the forests of Yavin IV, and the plains of Dantooine, making for a diverse variety of both land and marine life.
Terrain: Gas and Rock
Uninhabitable
The planet is a big ball of reactive gases, with the atmosphere falling beyond freezing point. The surface of the moon of Archinal contains mass quantities of Cortosis Ore, but to mine it would mean certain death as the temperatures radiating from the atmosphere of both planets would be sure to freeze the engines of any ship that comes anywhere near it.

Luridus 6:08am, February 24, 2005 [Edit] [Delete] | I like the planet images. Especially Exnaar VIII and Archinal. It's too bad there aren't more habitable planets in the system, but I doubt more would be necessary... given the current state of the RP.

Luke 9:53am, February 24, 2005 [Edit] [Delete] | People could probably get onto Exnaar V, if they were really desperate to hide out... Conditions are more severe than Hoth, so it'd be a struggle for them to survive. If people built installations on Exnaar VI, then they could possibly live there.
At the moment, only one person knows about this system, and that's Stefan Irodium.... but shh, no one knows that. |

purdy....will add them to my marble collection. |
