The Narrator 6:18am, January 06, 2014 [Edit] [Delete] | Just to help a bit with encounters in the city, heh.
North, South and the City Hub will never have any criminals or random encounters, save for that which a PC starts. They're all too heavily guarded and patrolled. So unless you're looking for trouble and want to cause it, nothing here.
East/West Side of the city has the following.
On a 1d8
1-Police. 2d2 Cop Cars with 2 cops each car. Armed with shotguns and pistols. Special Ammo: Blessed Silver. Special Item: Tear Gas Grenades/Gas masks, First Aid kit. Each cop is meant to report in at intervals so any loss instigates an alert and investigation.
2-Fayth Patrol: Consisting of civilian volunteers like a neighborhood watch, they consist of mainly 4d6 people, armed with little more then baseball bats and the occasional minor spellcaster. On rare occasions, one might even have a handgun. The results of tangling with them will result in a larger group next time and the people closed off to the one who did so.
3-GRIMM Hunters: 2d3 patrols of the new, robotic guardians of the city. Armed with taser-esque electrical blasts, metallic cables grounded in the wrists, flight via rockets and pre-programmed hand-to-hand combat. In terms of lethal fights, they switch from electrical impulse to Heat Ray Vision.
4- Mugging. You encounter a mugging in progress. 1d3 thugs typically. Its more for aiding cameo posts then actually RP'ing out, unless you have a GM at the time.
5-Motorbike Gang: 4d6 riders. Typically the Road Wolves. Armed with crowbars, chains and pistols with the occasional shotgun. On rare occasions, they'll also have dynamite.
6- Gangsters: 4d8. Randomized by a 1d3 as to which family they belong to. 1-Drago, 2-Kaiser/Calder and 3 as a random group trying to make it big. Armed with tommy guns, shotguns, baseball bats, ice picks, garrote wire and pistols.
7-Professional Hitmen: 2d3. One will always be a magus: Class Red and the other will always be a gunman. Twin pistols, crack shot.
8-Bonus Prize! Typically for GM's discretion, heh. |
