The Narrator 10:36pm, July 15, 2013 [Edit] [Delete] | Once Upon a time…..
One hundred years ago, an ancient enemy appeared. A specter from the past, a demon of war and strife who sought only to burn all before him as he waged a campaign upon the known world. My ancestor, “Severus Van Damne” was among those who stood against him. As did other great heroes of that age.
Sir Elris Sauvgarde, wielder of Excalibur. Zerin Deimore, the Fae-Magus. Ala ad-Dinn, the Trickster Knight. Scarlette Rider, the Crimson Huntress. Tito Devale, the Hero of the Common Folk and more besides. Though they allied without thought at first, together they proved to be more than a match for the darkness that threatened our world and our way of life.
The years have gone by. History has faded into legend. Legend into myth and all that remains conceivably of their past exploits are a few artifacts, what descendants of theirs who have kept the story alive in our hearts that we may never forget, and the world we have now.
One hundred years of peace has come and gone. One hundred years, of rebuilding and of renewed life. One hundred years of progress. Behold….The United Kingdom.
In an effort to further maintain a world of unity between all, a city-state was formed. One that would incorporate all the realms and in light of this, a city was crafted. Sprung from the greatest minds of that age and this one, the United Kingdom stands as a living symbol of what we can accomplish together. All of us, if we put our minds and hearts to it. It is in this place that my story and that of my friends begins….And how the more things change, the more they stay the same.
Welcome to the United Kingdom. Enjoy your stay.

| North Side. |
The Narrator 10:59pm, July 15, 2013 [Edit] [Delete] | North Side of the city is the Gated district. All the best of the best places are around here, and its also the locale for the main Corporation business buildings as well as City Hall. Police presence and personal security is very strong. Locales for here are as follows.
City Hall: Where the mayor and the Council convene to discuss matters of importance ranging from the mundane such as budget divergence to the grave, such as anarchy in the streets.
Redblade Outpost: One of many places, for the security company known as Redblade.
Oswork Industries: HQ for the biggest Workers Union in the city as well as shipping from both the docks and the Iron Wheeler in competition with Raulcad Inc.
Raulcad Inc: Business HQ for Raulcad's shipping and construction company.
Diamond District: Mansions galore for the wealthy and privileged. Its expensive to live here, but the neighborhood is safe and secure and whats more, you get access to a lot of the other goodies close to here. Among them being-
-The Opera House: The classical center of the arts for the United Kingdom. The many shows that had come from here are many and diverse and all of them a hit. Only the best of the best musical and diva prodigies hope to eventually perform here someday. They say there was a curse, but pfft. Who believes in such things nowadays?
-The Sky Track: Another prestigious place for a sport not readily seen anywhere else....Wyvern Racing. Unlike the cheaper Horse Races that many of the lower class(And a few, in-secret upper class who see it), the Wyvern Races are as much status as it is skill. In the age of technology, riding the great beasts is considered an act of great daring and those who ride and win often end up rich by patrons or rewarded in other matters.
-The Swan Princess: The swankiest nightclub and restaurant in town. The food is five stars, the music is toe-tapping and many a jazz beat can be heard flowing from this place of bright lights and wailing trumpets.
-Miskatonic University: The most prestigious school on the continent, whose only rival is that of the XIIIth Order on Excalibur Island. Miskatonic University, is the melding of what was once the old Science and Mages Guild of Somnium by a scientist-sorcerer named Crowley Miskatonic; A magus who believed the future was in pure knowledge and not segregated as it was. In his honor, the school was named after him and today is one of the best, shining examples of what progress can accomplish.

| South Side |
The Narrator 11:20pm, July 15, 2013 [Edit] [Delete] | South Side is for those comfortable middle-class. Suburban neighborhood, place where you can raise the kiddies well and comfortably. Police presence is very strong, personal security forces not so much. Locales for here are as follows.
Gold District- Suburban neighborhood. With a two-story house, a backyard and picket fence. Sounds awesome, right? Just think about the other stuff around here. Such as-
-United Park: A national park, for those who wish to commune with nature or have picnics. Its a beautiful place, just remember to leash your dog and clean up after.
-Museum of Arts and History: With treasures, loaned from private collections as well as other parts of the world that all may see and enjoy, recalling what was cost to come to this point. Among the items on display are the original Arachnid Man walker, Lord Van Damnes armor, a replica of the inside of the Queen's Shield airship as it looked like during the war, and the crown of the exhibit...Wax statues, of important events in history from the Witch-King and Elris first fight, to the Clash of Dragons and the trial scene.
-U.K.P.D.: United Kingdom Police Department. A stalwart force for good and order in the city. Their forces are generally everywhere, and every police-person has enough magical skill and physical prowess to enforce order if need be, though their presence is weaker in some areas due to corruption.
-The Other Side: A nightclub run by a figure known as "The Baron." Chain-related in its theme, its darker nature and spooky music leaves customers a-tingle which keeps on bringing them back for more. Its also a place for magus to hang out and swap ideas and secrets.

| East Side |
The Narrator 11:39pm, July 15, 2013 [Edit] [Delete] | East, is where the nitty-gritty stuff happens. Its a more, poorer district then the Gold or Diamond obviously. Brick apartment buildings, the factories in the industrial district...But its got a beat of its own. People here care about one another, and you mess with one, you mess with all. Police Presence is medium, with more heavy focus on personal security forces. Locales are as follows-
-Industrial District: This is where the backbone of the labor force come about to work. Whether at the power plant, the car factories or the warehouse storage areas or sewage plant, its a tough job but someones gotta do it, and do it well.
-Little Agrabah: Sometimes, you get a lot of the same people in one place, you get a community within a community. Little Agrabah, is in whole nothing less then a slice of home for many of the Eastern races. Not just the Old Kingdom folk either. Its a marriage of the Forbidden Kingdom and Agrabah and a surprisingly popular spot for tourists.
-Spring Heeled Agency: Sometimes, you don't want the cops around. The, you go for a private investigator....A family run agency, devoted around solving crimes.
-The Ritz Theater: A run-down place, used for aspiring thespians and musicians who can't afford to play anywhere else. Though they have been known to put on plays, the most you'll find here is Vaudevillian stuff.

| West Side |
The Narrator 11:49pm, July 15, 2013 [Edit] [Delete] | Obviously the poor district. A place where corruption is rampant, and gangs hang out. But not all is bad here. Police presence is infrequent as to be almost non-existent, personal security forces and thuggish gangs masquerading as such are the norm. Locales are as follows-
Copper District: Brick apartment buildings, crammed together. Trash strewn streets and criminals who wander openly...Its a bad, bad neighborhood. But its cheap and people respect privacy.
Docks District: Another integral part of the city overall. Besides providing actual, legitimate jobs it also serves as a front for much of the smuggling that occurs. Watch your step here, in this maze of warehouses and ships.
The Devils Own: A nightclub, that specializes in "burlesque entertainment." In layman's terms, its a strip club. Run by gangsters and a den of iniquity beyond count. Watch your step, or loose a hand or an eye here.
Chapel of Fayth: Neutral territory, unanimously agreed by all the gangs and any new criminal who violates it, finds himself fighting ALL of them at once. Owner of the church is a bleeding heart nun figure, who took care of many of them at one point or another. Free healing and sanctuary can be found here.
The Graveyard Coven: Another underground club, that caters to those of a darker, mystical bent. Also a black market area, though its an invitation only place.

| City Core. |
The Narrator 11:55pm, July 15, 2013 [Edit] [Delete] | The hub of the United Kingdom. Police presence is strong, personal security forces are semi-common. Here, you can find many places to get what you need among them are-
-The Hospital: Self explanatory. And set at the hub, for easier access for those wounded. Also used by the medical students of Miskatonic University.
-Little Jacks Corner: The local newspaper, ran by a cigar-chomping gnome nicknamed "Little Jack."
-Fire Department: Self-explanatory
-Movie Theater: Moving pictures! An entertainment rare and wonderful, with current showings being "Beauty and the Beast', The Blob from Another Planet', and Elris and the Thousand and One Nights of Danger."
-Market District: Place where food and other necessities can be bought and gained.
-Underdrome: The Cities arena for the popular Dungeon and Dragons game mostly, though it can be converted for Baseball and Bloodbowl games.

| Out of Town. |
The Narrator 8:17pm, July 23, 2013 [Edit] [Delete] | These are locales, places outside of the city limits for one reason or another.
-100 Acres Asylum: An asylum for the insane funded by the Robin estate. The place features 100 Acres of picturesque woodland, a small village for supplies and the Asylum itself.
-The Race Track: Though meant for the cheaper crowd, this place still sees a number of people for the horse races as well as the growing, popular vehicle ones. Watch your wallet here!
-S.S. Titanic: Swankiest cruise ship in the world.
