For simplicity's sake, I'm only going to be listing places we've actually had our characters go, or that we have living in that locale. Others shall be included later, as they are introduced or suggested... and Ponyville goes without saying. Canterlot - Bustling city with a grandiose palace looking over it, built into the side of a mountain. A couple hours by hoof from Ponyville, it's probably no more than a day trip for most. Where the princesses reside and home to the finest social events one can dream of. Contains whimsy, wonder, politics and fanciness. Dream Valley - A bit farther out from Canterlot, a large flatland surrounded by simple hills, with its own palace with no current occupant. It has become an artist community, though not by inherent design, as crafts and finery have become their primary trades; has several residents with an eerie resemblance to those in Ponyville.
