[Delete] | The Galaxy is in shambles. It has been twenty years since Emperor Palpatine was slain at the hands of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, and the splintered remains of the Empire still fight tooth and nail over what little territory they can hold.
Though weakened and disorganized, the Imperial Remnant holds onto the Outer Rim with an iron grip, intent on taking back their former holdings at any means necessary.
Meanwhile, Archaeologists from the New Republic have discovered a plane thought to have been lost to the Ages. Korriban, the ancient tomb world of the Sith, has been rediscovered. Fearing what could happen if the Empire had reached the planet, the New Republic, with the aid of the fledgling New Jedi Order, have mounted a blockade of the planet to deter any Imperial meddling.
In the mean time, the Valley of the Dark Lords is an archaeological dig site, with people coming in from all over the New Republic looking to help uncover new trinkets and make money. Most of these people live in the settlement of Dreshdae, a boom town that has been an off and on point of interest on Korriban for thousands of years. It holds all the major amenities that one could hope to find in a modern city. Cantinas, casinos, theaters..for being a small town Dreshdae has proved to be quite lucrative for those not necessarily in the business of finding antiquities... |
